August Blackers POV
Just after I sent out the text to my family I knew I had made a mistake I would regret. Did I really want this? If only she didn't lie to me.

I quietly shuffled over to my makeup stand and began to put my hair in an elegant French twist. As I was putting in the last bobby pin I heard Graham open the front door. "Hi dad" I heard the voice of Lily and Noah drift up the stairs. Its now or never.

Clunk clunk clunk. I walked down the wooden stairs in my fancy black stilettos wobbling as I reached the bottom. Smoothing my hands over the silky material of my dress suit I slowly walked towards the lounge room. "Hello children" I said as I walked into the finely furnished room. Taking a seat on the white leather couch I said "kids, Graham. I think I better tell you something..."

20 year old August Yoeman was at university for science. She loved science. And it was because she wanted to become the opposite of her mother. Augusts mother was an avid magic believer. She believed that there was an alternate world where fairys and other magic creatures lived. She thought that on certain days the creatures could travel to the world humans live in. She would always try and get August to believe. "No mum. I'll never beLIEve a LIE" August would answer "there is absolutely no scientific evidence at all to prove your theory."

Anyway, at university August met Evelyn. A newly married scientific student. Evelyn and August soon became best of friends. All their free time was spent together. Everyone knew about Evi and Gussi. 2 years later Evelyn told August that she was dropping out of uni. "But why?" August asked. When asked this question. Evelyn told her that her husband got a job offer and they had to move. August pleaded and pleaded with Evelyn to try and get her to stay. While August was growing up she was always the quiet girl with hardly any friends. But upon meeting Evi her whole world changed.
One morning August came to school and Evelyn was gone. There was no trace of her. This left August devastated. Well until she opened her locker and a note fell out.

Dear Gussi,
Before I tell you why I left you have to remember that I'll always love you. You'll always be my friend, no matter what.
Now I know your probably furious with me for leaving you like this but I had to. You see I'm a fairy. I know it sounds stupid but its true, a girl who loves science and believes in nothing if it isn't proved, is a fairy. My husband did actually get a job so I didn't fully lie to you. But I had another reason. I was called back to my kingdom to help. They needed me.

August was furious. "I need you too" she shouted at the note. "I cant believe you lied to me all this time" she whispered as she sank to the floor crying.

**3rd persons POV**
"Thats my story guys" August said clenching the note. "Mum, she needs you now. Somethings wrong and we dont have to be the bad guys. Maybe we thought we were doing the right thing, but honestly, I dont think we were. Its not too late to change" Noah said loudly. "Sweet, coming from you Noah. Your the one who keeps kidnapping her and calling mum and dad!" Lily yelled at him. "Because I like her, okay?..." he screamed before crashing out of the room.

Lily sat in the middle of the now empty couch, surrounded by cushions, her mouth gaping. "WHAT. THE. HECK. DID. HE. JUST. SAY." Graham said in obvious shock. "WHAT A D...." Lily began before stopping at her mother's silencing look. "Do not EVER say that again" her mother said quietly, not meeting her gaze.

The three family members sat in silence for about twenty minutes before Noah returned. "I'm sorry" he said, turning his face away. "We have to help her..."

Oh My gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!!!!! I kinda forgot I even had this book {ik ik I am so so sorry}. Anyway after this MASSIVE long time I saw that this book has 1.04k reads. How did that happen!?!?!?! After my initial feeling of 'woop woop, party in the house, ohhh yeahhhh' I felt terrible. I totally neglected this. I hope this chapter is good, I know its definitely not enough to make up for my negligence.
So so sorry. I hope ill be better updating in the future.
