Ava

I couldn't believe they'd made me agree to do this. I gritted my teeth in annoyance as Isabella pushed me inside and gave her a death glare. She innocently flipped her hair, winking at me. Jett slung an arm around my shoulders and looked down at my face, grinning. "Stop being such a baby."

"I'm being a baby? You blackmailed me into coming here." I pointed out. "I have work tomorrow, Jett."

"I'll hand deliver you to your house tonight, okay?" He said. "At 11 pm. Sharp."

I slumped as we moved past the sweaty bodies. It had been quite a long time since I'd been to a boxing ring. It brought back memories which I'd buried deep inside and had no intention of bringing up. It seemed like a match was going on. A very interesting one for that matter, by the way the crowd was screaming. Since we were still just at the entrance, we couldn't see whose it was.

"Why you being so glum, cara bonita?" Isa asked me. "You used to love coming here."

"Used to."

There was a nudge to the side of my stomach. It made me groan out loud and sharply turn around to cuss at whoever had barged into me. It was a man, a huge man. He was covered in ink from top to bottom, and his eyes held a disgustingly sick expression as he looked at me and licked his bottom lip. "You seem new."

"I'd still punch your balls if you try anything." I said.

Isabella and Jett had seemed to disappear somewhere. It wasn't a problem. The guy might be big but he didn't seem to have a brain. I, on the other hand, had plenty. His smile widened as he took a step in my direction. "Feisty much?"

"You want to try me?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Try you underneath me, sure. You look like you'll make a good little-" He hunched down and clutched his groin in pain where I'd just knocked my knee.

"Try more?" I asked. He was still groaning in pain when I lifted up his chin to make him look at me. Since he was bending down he had to look up, and I gave him a smile and patted his cheek. "Thought so."

I walked further inside. People were going crazy around me and I was desperate to see what for. The announcer's voice died down in front of the shouting, so I had no option but to rely on my eyes. I saw a hand wave at me from the front seats and that was enough for me to know that was my destination. I walked up to the front, and Jett stared at me. "Where were you?"

"Me? I just gave a guy a lesson to learn." I said.

Then I looked towards the ring at the fight. And I froze.

"Buena suerte, hermano!" Isa shouted from beside me.

I felt the breath leave my lungs. Blazing dark brown eyes snapped towards us, widening comically when they landed on me. His eyebrows were thick and arched, his cheekbones so prominently carved into perfection. A clenched jaw, his bone structure so vividly flawless that I wanted to trace my finger along every part of his skin. Sweat plastered his hair to his forehead. Red coloured gloves secured his fists, his shirtless body making girls scream. He didn't have much ink on his body, but the little he did was enough to make him look sinful.

My body ignited at the feel of his eyes on me. My heart fluttered inside my chest so violently I was afraid it would burst open. My breath came out in short pants as he continued looking at me like I was his dream come true, like he couldn't believe I was here, like he was starving and I was his favourite candy. His eyes burned with familiarity. His mouth opened in wonder, and I saw them move, "Ava."

His opponent took advantage of his dazed state and swung a punch across his jaw, making me gasp. His face swayed to the other side, and I knew the punch was painful by the way he clenched his jaw, then unclenched it, bringing his hand up to massage that portion. His eyes suddenly turned stormy and he looked away from me, back into the game.

"The fuck?" I hissed out, still looking at him. "What the fuck, Isa?"

"Oops, did I forget to mention him?" Isabella gave me an innocent look.

"You didn't tell her Elias was fighting?" Jett chuckled. "Babe, I told you to tell her. She seemed like she'd seen a ghost."

"Sorry, Ava." Her eyes laughed at me. She'd planned this all along. She knew if she'd told me I would have never come. I had promised myself to avoid him at all costs. My second day here and I'd already made myself known to him.

By the time I looked back towards the ring, Elias had his opponent on the ground as he repeatedly punched his face. His eyes were focused and I knew the shouts echoing in the ring were only boosting his ego. He won by a straight fight. His opponent had managed a punch or two across his face when he'd been thrown off by me, but that was it. Boxing was the only thing he was passionate about. I'd been to enough matches with him to know he was a beast out there.

When the referee blew the whistle he got up, giving a hand to his opponent to help him up and patting across his back. They declared him the winner, enticing thousands of people present there. Raising his fists in the air, Elias smiled at the crowd. That drove them wilder. He knew these people worshipped him. He was their king out in the ring. If he told them to kneel, they'd do it without a question. But he never took advantage of his fan base except using them to boost his ego, which I felt was very much allowed in his position.

Isabella joined the crowd to cheer for her brother. He gave her a bigger smile than he did the rest of the crowd. She winked at him, and pulled my hand, making me stand up. That snapped his gaze to mine. They narrowed a fraction, and I felt the world around me disappear when his eyes looked into my soul. He was the most beautiful human I'd ever laid eyes on, like a scenic beauty you didn't want to look away from.

But right now he looked so dangerous, so tempting, so fucking hot that I wanted him to slam me against the wall of a bathroom and fuck me until I couldn't scream. He'd already done it twice. And that memory popping up in my mind did not help the state of my already desperate vagina.

His lips curled up into the smallest of smirks as if he knew what I'd been thinking. I wouldn't be surprised if he did know. He knew me better than anyone else. His eyes roamed down my body, darkening when they swept across my bare legs, then looking up again. His tongue peeked out to lick his bottom lip, and I gasped mentally. He was provoking me. And it was working.

"He just undressed you with his eyes in front of everyone." Isabella whispered in my ear excitedly.

"He was simply looking at me."

"That was simple looking?" She whisper yelled. "I know him, and I know you. You undressed him with your eyes as well."

"Shut up, Isa." I muttered.

I was grabbed from the behind and sharply turned around. My hand lifted up on it's own in a reflex action to smack the person and protect myself, when my wrist was gripped tightly, preventing it from coming in contact with skin. It was the same guy from outside. The guy whose future generation I'd threatened by kicking his balls.

His eyes were seething in anger. "You think you can get away with that kind of stuff, huh? Bitches like you need to be punished and taught a lesson."

"I thought you didn't want to try me anymore. No?" I used my other hand to grip his wrist. Finding the pressure point, I pressed down hard. He howled and let go of my hand, giving me the perfect opportunity to swing my fist on his stomach. "I thought I'd let you go off easy. Too bad you missed the chance."

Holding his hair, I pulled them, making him look up, into my eyes. "If you think I'm a scared little puppy who'll take your shit, you're very, very wrong. And it seems like my friends tend to come here often, which further means I'll come here often. Now I don't want a repeat of this shit again, are we clear?"

He narrowed his eyes on me, but didn't say anything.

I gripped his hair tighter, making him hiss out. "Are we fucking clear?"

"Yes." He spat out, looking down.

"Be thankful I didn't break your fucking hand. Try me the next time and I won't hesitate." I said, letting go of his hair and pushing him back. He got up without a word, looked at me one last time and gave me a dirty look.

People were staring at me when I looked back. Jett chuckled, shaking his head. Being the annoying ass brother he was, he ruffled my hair up, pinching my cheeks and walking away with Isabella. I felt eyes burning holes into my body and I didn't need to look to know whose they were. There was only one person who was capable enough to raise the hair on my body with just a look, just a stare.

Elias was smirking full on wide now. His expression was one as if he'd just won the lottery. That wasn't the whole truth though. He was turned on. I knew it by one look on his face. Elias had a lot of expressions, and I was one of the very few people who'd seen all of them. He wore this one the most around me. Hungry, demanding, carnal.

He walked down the ring, into the crowd who welcomed him with open arms. He disappeared down the corner, into the changing rooms. Three bulky men stood outside, making sure no one entered and disrupted the boxers' privacy.

I went over to the bar to order a drink for myself. My brother and Isabella had disappeared off to somewhere and I had no doubt the bathrooms would be requiring an extensive cleaning tomorrow. Maybe it was just the atmosphere of this place, but sex was the only thing on most people's minds here. And boxing, of course.

It wasn't an underground illegal business. Elias never fought illegal fights. It was a legit boxing ring. No cheating allowed. There were rules, which had consequences if not followed. And there was a procedure for everything. It was underground, but it was not illegal. Government officials came here a lot to see the fights. Cops were stationed at various places to keep a check on unwanted activities.

I pushed the drink away and got up, shoving past the crowd. It suddenly seemed a bit too crowded and I needed space. The bathroom was probably not a good idea since there were many people here like Jett and Isa who did the dirty in there, many people like me who'd already done it, but at the moment it seemed like the best option.

But I was grabbed by my wrist and pulled into a corner before I could reach the restroom. I cursed in annoyance. The stupid man just didn't understand I could beat his body to pulp. I kept my fist ready to swing it across his face.

Long, slender fingers wrapped around my wrist, preventing me from moving them. The same hand gripped my other wrist and lifted both of my hands up my head. When I grunted and struggled, another hand wrapped around my neck, pushing it up in a possessive hold. Lips touched the outside of my ear, grazing my shell as they whispered, "Behave, Ava."

Fuck me

The first word he'd said to me in four months, and I was already ready to beg. Up this close, his eyes looked way darker than they had earlier. They were always dark when he was around me. They always burnt with desire and another emotion I didn't quite understand.

Elias let go of my wrists to push away a strand of my hair, tucking it behind my ear. Then he gave me a breathtaking smile. "I've missed you, mi amor."

If you missed the AN before this chapter, please check it out right now. It's there for a reason and it'll only take a minute or so. There are a few warnings mentioned in there which as a writer, I have to warn you about, and as a reader, you should know. Some people tend to not read the AN and then complain about things which I've already mentioned at the very beginning, so please go through it once.

Anyway, I think I'm getting better at writing the first chapters, but I honestly think I can improve more. How'd you like it?
