Chapter 2 - Ice Not Fire
"Fishing again?!"
Anisa held down the red scaled Magikarp, flipping it's tail and other fins to try to escape the claws of the little pup. She kept her ground as she continued watching the fight her fellow friends and teacher where having.
Because they wanted to do something else other than fishing.
As always...
"I've told you many times you three, you must learn to fish so, when you've become full grown Lycanroc, you can provide for your mates, your pups and the rest of the pack!" Their teacher growled, for being an old grump, he can defanitly put someone in their place.
Well, other than Andrew of course.
As the rest of the pups went silent, Andrew just glared at the old, lower rank alpha. His head fur stuck up in many directions, refusing to flatten whenever his mother tried to get rid of the spiked up fur.
"But we can't always eat Magikarp! I want to do some real hunting-"
"That is out of the question Andrew! You know there is an order here in this world, we've broken it enough and we're not braking it even more by hunting down the village Pokemon!" Andrew grew quite like the others, Anisa sighed and quickly lifted her paw in the air.
"Yes Anisa?" Their teacher asked. "Does Andrew even know the rules of this world?" Quietly, the others laughed as Andrew's face grew red, from embarrassment or anger, probably both since it's easy to make the spiked Rockruff angry.
"I know Anisa, it's just unfair..." Andrew answered, his ears drooping a bit. "Right, now that's out of the way, her into groups of two and start finding a good place to hunt, Anisa, I will take that Magikarp back to the dens.
Anisa nodding and stepped of the flailing karp, the old Lycanroc getting a hold of it in his strong jaw. "Anisa, want to be with me today?" Andrew asked after the last bit of anger left his system, "sure Andrew! Let's go!" Anisa dragged him by his neck fur into the forest as he started to shout about her grip being a bit too tight.
"Sorry Andrew!" She giggled.

"Have you found one yet Anisa?" Andrew dragged behind the female Rockruff while they continued to there search for a small pond, they've only been searching for about an hour and already Andrew was complaining.
"Not ye-"
"Never mind, found one!" Andrew cut her off, not careing for what she was going to say as he ran through the crowd of trees and bushes, straight to a clean, small pond. "No need to cut me off Andrew!" She yelled.
"Yeah, anyway, how about you try and find a small amount of bait since I was the one who found the pond!" He dipped his left paw into the water, scaring away a couple of the fish Pokemon. "...fine." He continued to paw at the water, creating ripples as Anisa walked back through the bushes.
She always found him annoying sometimes, not because of his personality, just because of his attitude. Both pups have been paired together before but even when she discovers the waterholes, Andrew still orders her around, making her do all the hard work while he just sits back to mess with his stupid (in her opinion), spiky head fur.
"Stupid Andrew, making me do all the work while he just messes around in the water, probably scaring our dinner off." Anisa growled to no one in particular. The crowd of bushes and trees started to become more like an army as the shrubbery became even thicker and hard to walk through normally, Anisa stopped to think over her options, either find another way around...or be an idiot and try make her way through.
While deep in though, the shrubbery started to move, like it was coming alive, the sound of snapping branches bring Anisa back down to planet earth.
"Do you need a paw?" A small whisper escaped the bush, the voice was really sweet and the mysterious stranger's tone seemed to be kind, like a small, innocent child. "W-Who are you and why are you here?" Anisa whispered.
Nobody dared to enter Lycanroc territory, especially the Pokemon from nearby villages, legends of these lands always scared off travellers who even dared to travel through Lycanroc land.
Legends differed from that their land was cursed to all Lycanrocs will hunt you down and devour you alive, turning you inside out.
Nobody can really prove it though since no one will travel through their land.
After a moment of hesitation, two, pure white paws stepped out of the bush, followed along by a, slightly scruffier, head. Blue eyes that shone like ice on a bright morning glanced back at the dark shade of blue of Anisa's eyes.
"I'm Amara the snow covered Vulpix, what about you?" The white fox had a soft smile on her face. "I'm...Anisa...but you still haven't answered my question!" Anisa replayed, still suspisuons on why the stranger was her, in her pack's land.
"Well, I'm kind of lost really, one minute I was following a beautiful flower trail and the next I'm here talking to you...I'm not intruding am I?" Amara tilted her head, slight fear resting her im her clear, blue eyes.
"Well, yes you are, this is Midday Lycanroc territory. It's best if you leave..."
"Oh I'm so sorry! I had no idea...but...do you know the way out of here?" Her ears drooped, her body radiating the feeling of slight fear and...sadness.
"Yeah, just follow that path over there and it should lead you out of our lands and back into the nearest village." Amara nodding in understanding.
"Okay, thank you." The Vulpix was ready to jolt off but turned back around quickly.
"May I see you again? You seem like the lonely type..." Anisa looked at her, surprised that a total stranger would ask her that.
She did feel a bit offended though...
"Wow, thanks..."
"I didn't mean to offend you!" Amara cried.
Anisa only chuckled "sure, you seem like a really sweet Pokemon...but be careful though."
"Meet here tomorrow then? I could tell you more about myself so you feel more secure." Anisa nodded "sure!"
With that, the white fox finally ran off, leaving Anisa alone with the shrubbery once more.
"Looks like me and Andrew have got to fish the old fashioned way."
The young pup turned and trugged back through the bushes, making her way back to the lazy, spiked haired Rockruff.
Amara huh?
She seems like a sweet girl to me.
