The next morning duryodhan decided to go to krishna and ask for alliance and at the same time yudhishthir also asked arjun to go and ask for alliance.
Krishna told them to come at a specific time and the one whom he sees first, he would favour him.

" Please pitashree make your choice wisely " Lakshmana said giving duryodhan his crown as he was getting ready, in return he just hummed. " And please pitashree please try to avoid this war and all " She said with nervousness. " Now, would you teach me lakshmani " Duryodhan said a bit irritated.

" Yes! Because you are not listening to anyone else " Duryodhan rolled his eyes and calmed himself, " Putri, as you said I would choose wisely, no need to fear " He said rocking her head. " Jyeshth, please keep your mind calm, this alliance is important for us " Vikarna said concerned, " Now if you all would stop giving me suggestions, may I leave " Duryodhan said raising his eyebrows. Lakshmana , lakshman and vikarna suppressed their giggles and lowered their heads.

" All the best " They said in union as duryodhan turned to leave.

Krishna was taking s nap on his couch when duryodhan enters his chamber, when sees Krishna he decides to wait till he wakes up and sits on a chair near Krishna's head. After a few minutes arjun enters the chamber on behalf of yudhishthir, he looks at Krishna and sits near his feet. Duryodhan starts tapping his foot impatiently, fidgeting with his angavastra, while arjun sits calmly.

Suddenly Krishna opens his eyes and sees arjun in front of his eyes. " Parth" He calls and arjun opens his eyes.
" Ask, what you want " Krishna asks him. " Pranipat dwarikadhish " Duryodhan interrupts, " I was the one to come here first " He says with a faint smile. " Bhrata duryodhan! Parth is younger to you, and younger ones should always be given first chance right " Krishna says with a smile, duryodhan gets confused, and abruptly nods in a yes. " Ask parth, what do you want? " Krishna said with his usual smile, looking towards arjun who reciprocated the smile.

Duryodhan was looking towards them restlessly, " What if he chooses narayani sena , I would loose this alliance and it would be a, big loss " He thought to himself and tapped his foot on the ground. " I want only you madhav " A three of them grinned, everyone for different reasons, Krishna rose on his feet and hugged arjun. " Bhrata Duryodhan, what do you want? " Krishna asked glancing towards him. " Narayani sena " He answered with spark in his eyes." You make take my narayani sena, it's whole one akshouni " Duryodhan felt like winning the whole world, he walked back to the guest chamber, where they all were residing.

" Did we get the alliance jyeshth? " Dusshasan rushed towards duryodhan entered. " Atleast let him breath bhrata! " Vikarna said rolling his eyes. " What happened there pitashree? " Lakshmana and lakshman sat calmly on duryodhan's either sides. " I choose narayani sena " Duryodhan said with a wide smile, lakshmana narrowed her eyebrows, duryodhan then explained them everything that happened there.

" But pitashree..... " Lakshmana was about to speak when dusshasan interrupted, " You did it right jyeshth, what was the use of choosing that ranchod and that too he won't use weapons " He laughed sarcastically and at the next moment lakshmana roared, " Dare you say anything more about him and I will forget you are my father's brother " She said with wide angry eyes. Everyone looked at her in shock, though she didn't bond well with dusshasan, she was never so rude with him, her father had imbibed politeness in her.

" He is my father- in - law, dare you say a single wrong word against him " She said clutching her dagger. " Calm lakshi" Lakshman held her wrist and she kept the dagger back into the scabbard. Duryodhan felt proud of himself for raising his daughter rightly, he then glared toward dusshasan who lowered his gaze to the ground.

" Suyodhan " Came a voice from the door, everytime duryodhan heard this voice and being called suyodhan by the owner of the voice, he felt a certain relief in his heart, he felt like somebody is there for him, he was balram. " Yes gurudev " He touched balram's feet with utmost respect.
" What did you choose? " Duryodhan told him everything that happened there. Balram stood up impatiently.

" I shouldn't interfere, but you should have choose krishna. Though he won't raise weapons, but he would have made excellent plans " Balram said nodding his head negative, duryodhan felt a little guilty. " But gurudev, you would be with us, right? " Duryodhan asked with a faint smile and a little hope. " Sorry suyodhan, I am not fighting the war " Duryodhan's heart sank. " What! But gurudev... " This was all duryodhan could speak.

" Suyodhan, I can't fight against you and also I can't fight against krishna, you both are too special for me " He answred keeping a hand on duryodhan's shoulder. Duryodhan just nodded and turned towards sambh, " From which side are you planning to fight jamai ji? " Sambh gave a small smile, " I am not fighting from any side pitashree, I can't fight against you and neither against my father " Duryodhan felt disheartened but managed to smile faintly.

" I thought if my jamai would be from my side, I would have felt 10 times more stronger, but what you are saying is also true. Well, it's time for me to leave " Duryodhan said sadly.
" Lakshmani, ask something from me, don't know when we would meet again " Lakshmana looked at him with eyes filled with tears, " I have everything pitashree, I don't want anything " Saying this, lakshmana and sanbh touched his feet together, he experienced an amazing happiness.
" But still, ask something " Duryodhan insisted.

" I you insist so much, I want a horse and a kitten " Lakshmana answered with a tender smile. Duryodhan immediately ordered vikarna to take out one horse and give it to lakshmana, but aa usual dusshasan interrupted. " But jyeshth why! She is a girl, why would she need some horse " Everyone rolled their eyes.
" Sorry to interrupt kakashree, but your niece knows to ride horse well and here in dwarika every woman is a warrior, you can take example of my satyabhama maa " Sambh protected her.

" Putri, it's time for us to leave now, take care of yourself and jamai ji, my daughter is naive, please forgive her if she does or speaks something wrong " Duryodhan said joining his hands together, sambh held his hands, " What are you doing pitashree, you are like my own father, please don't do this " Sambh said hugging duryodhan.

" Please pitashree, try to avoid this war " Lakshmana pleaded, but duryodhan didn't pay much attention to her. She looked at the retreating figures of her brother, uncles and father, riding back towards hastinapur with tear eyes.
