"I heard you mumbling, what was all of that ?" - Asked Blaine, with a confused look

 "Nothing, I promise it was nothing. At all!" - Neir was panicking all the way. When panicking, his personnality changes weirdly, which is terrifying in some way, though it makes most people laugh.

 "Okaaaaay..... So, I'm ready for our mission. Should we go see Ruby now?"

 Neir nodded, the two went back to the scary boss' office.

 "I see you've changed, Blaine. A good start" - Said Ruby, with a rare smile. It looked gentle, not sarcastic like she always does.

 "Thank you, Ruby, I-"

Before Blaine can even finish her sentence, Neir caught her mouth. 

"Hmmmmphhh?!"

 "You do NOT call her by the first name, call her by the military rank!" - Whispered Neir, as if his face predicted something terrible will appear.

 "General Ruby Loretta, General Loretta, now go!" - He let go of her mouth.

 "Sorry as I was too carefree in my words, General Loretta," - Continued Blaine, "Again, thank you for your compliment"

 Ruby giggled :

 "Neir, why do you think this is some kind of a royal military building? You always call me "Ruby", and now teaching the girl to call me by my other name! Such a cocky but fake gentleman you are."

 Neir blushed. Ruby don't talk like that formally, she only does that when mimicking other people.

 "Enough with the Chit-Chat", she threw away the previous smile, "You'll be accompanying Sakhalin today. The target is a cotton-ball squid, located in the Aquarium near 24 Sollony Street. After you finished the task, return to lieutenant Hyacinthe Winters in Moonstone Kingdom of Faridat."

 "But this has nothing to do with Aldimnia !" - excused Neir

 "The lieutenant is holding one of our dragon goldfish", calmly said Ruby, "She told our headquarters that we were irresponsible with protecting the creatures. I must admit that, I couldn't predict the goldfish's abilities and left the cage a bit loosen. Winters eventually took care of the fish but somehow affiliated to her squid, so it ended up kidnapped and kept in an Aquarium. She promised to return our fish if we successfully find the other one"

 Ruby handed the duo some pictures of the squid, after that she said they can leave.

 "Estimated time :  24 hours"

 Blaine and Neir got outside the building. Right at that moment, she asked:

 "Faridat? I haven't heard of that place before"

 "It's another planet, Blaine" - Explained Neir - "Aldimnia and Faridat had signed a contract 200 years ago, along with Earth, about supporting eachother as a team and stuff"

 "I'm curious to see this place"

"Sure you do, you'll get to meet such amazing Sparklings"

 All of a sudden, something flew out of the bushes:

 "LOVEBIRDS, SAY HELLO TO YOUR COMPANION"

 Damn it, here it goes again, thought Neir

 "Sakhalin Aomori" - Said Neir, "We are not-"

"I'll wait 'til that happens" - Sakhalin interrupted enthusiastically, something you'll see from her everyday

 "What happens?' - asked Blaine

 "Hahahaha, now let's go the Aquarium"

 Neir opened the portal and stepped outside first. Well, at least he nearly did, until Sakhalin started ranting.

 "Where's your manners, Sanny? Let the Ladies go first!"

 She pushed him by a side and started dragging her signature floral patterned dress gently. Neir groaned, God this mission better finish soon

 24 Sollony Street.

 "This doesn't look like an Aquarium to me" - yawned the little Sakhalin, "Are you sure this is the right place?"

 "Well, do YOU think Ruby was being a joke?" - responded Neir, with a deadly look

 Sakhalin shrinked herself, everytime he mentions her name, her heartbeat grows fast.

 "We still have to get in here" - pointed Blained

 As soon as they got in, a snare fell down and snatched Neir. The room was dark, so the ability to untangle from it was impossible.

 Sakhalin immediately pulled out her lasso, cuz' even though it was dark, the lasso itself can identify the person near the owner and catch them.

 "Whoever that is, I want you to stay still!" - the voice from afar roared, it sounded like a girl's

 "Sorry dear, but you should be the one standing still" - with no hesitation, Sakhalin threw her lasso to the spoken person

 But it didn't happen like she expected. In fact, a string of water restrained the lasso, then tied Sakhalin, and eventually she got thrown into some old stacks of cardboard boxes

 "Sakhalin!!!" - yelled Blaine and Neir

 "I'm okay!" - Sakhalin raised her thumb 

 "You attacked me first, I had no other choice! I'm so sorry" - the girl in the dark didn't do that in purpose. To show her apology, she stepped out of the dark corner.

 It was a tall, slightly robust woman. Her hair was short and dyed in Light turquoise blue. Her clothes matched with the hair color, and on her chest there was a water shaped pin

 "Let me introduce myself. My name's Melissa. I came here for my mission, but got lost. I thought you were the Garnets and panicked. It has always happened like this. I hope you will understand."

 "One thing", asked Blaine, "There something unnatural about the way you talk".

 "Sent by some agent, but forgot the talking script!" - accused Sakhalin, dusting the gooey slime on her dress, after what happened to her just now, she probably wouldn't forgive Melissa, or that's how that girl called herself.

 "I'm not an agent, I'm actually one of uhhh, well, do you believe if I say it?"

 "IF we know more about you, would that be helpful for our mission ? " - Neir turned annoyed, the trio was wasting their time talking to a girl. How will  Ruby react if she sees this?

"I'm actually a Faridatian, m-mostly! My parents were the rulers of Aquamarine, an aquatic kingdom, but they died after my birth to protect the sparklings there. Aunty Saffrin was the real one who took care of me, we lived as humans on Earth for ten years, but my "crystal magic" teachers came and I had to leave her alone to hide in another destination with the other two. After eight years, which is now, Princess Moonstone selected me as the defender of her kingdom. I came to this Aquarium by the rumors of which this is where a Topaz is hiddening."

So that's why she talked weirdly, because she didn't wanna let everyone know her true identity. Must've been hard to hold all the secrets down the throat.

"We see," Neir untangled himself successfully, "So you also came here for your work".

"And my honor"

"Alright."

"I'm sorry for being so reckless too", Sakhalin said with a shy tone, "You were being securitive, that's all."

Melissa smiled. She suggested the others to join with her, now that everyone's confused and no clue in their mission.

Blaine thought this might be a good collaboration, so at the end, they all agreed to go along with Melissa.
