💝 The Valentine's Party (Louena/Debbigail/Huelet)

Requested by AminaMagCookies

Request: "Scrooge McDuck has a Valentine's party and the guest must have a date. Louie is with Lena, Huey with Violet and Dewey with Webby."

A/n: I made them older, just for the sake of it. For a reference point, Huey, Dewey, and Louie are sixteen.
Also, I kind of had a bit of trouble with figuring out what to write, so I hope it's decent...

"Wait, 'Bring a date'?" Louie questioned, looking at the fancy parchment in his hand.

"That means that you must bring a date along with you." his uncle explained.

"Are you gonna have a date?~" Dewey asked, sing-songy.

"No."

"Then why do we have to bring one?" Louie asked.

"I like seeing everyone have to rush to find a partner. It can actually be quite entertaining," Scrooge explained, "Plus, sometimes, it gets people together, who wouldn't normal confess their love without the prompting." he finished with a wink, then left the room.

"So," Huey began, "Who're we gonna ask?"

"Well, I only know, like, three girls, so I guess we're gonna have to ask them..." Dewey replied.

"I'll ask Lena." Louie said nonchalantly.

"Um, okay then..." Huey said, seemingly a bit nervous, "I'll ask Violet, I guess..."

"And I'll ask Webby!" Dewey exclaimed, surprising his brothers with his happiness. They both watched as the middle duck ran out of the room.

"Welp, Imma go ask her." said the green-clad triplet.

"You're going all the way to the beach now?"

"What- No. I'm just gonna text her." Louie replied, "It's so much quicker and it makes it easier for me." he said, then left. Huey sighed to himself and went to his shared room to think of how to ask Violet.

Eventually each of the triplets had asked their choice date, and each of them received a yes in answer. The weeks flew by and soon enough, it was time for the party. The triplets got ready in color coded suits, and went to pick up their dates.

"Wow, Violet," Huey said wide-eyed as the hummingbird stepped out of her house, "You look... Amazing!"

"Aww, you look so adorable in your little suit," Lena teased as Louie blushed.

"This is gonna be great!" Dewey exclaimed, as he took Webby's hand and ran with her down to the party. They met up with the others, who had just arrived, and together they walked into the party.

They all had a great time at the party. Huey and Violet discussed books and other things, Louie and Lena just ate snacks and people watched, and Dewey and Webby did all sorts of things. At the end of the party, each boy took their girl home.

"Um, Violet..." Huey said, once they got to the aforementioned hummingbirds house.

"Yeah?"

"I-I was wondering... Would you like to, maybe, go on a date some time?"

"I'd love to, Huey." Violet replied with a smile.

Meanwhile with Louie and Lena:

"...and did you see that guy with the bright purple suit?" Lena continued her conversation with the triplet, "When he nearly tripped and fell into the punch?"

They both laughed at the thought. It was a few seconds before the laughter died down. Then there was a beat of silence before Lena spoke once more.

"You know, we should hang out more often," she said, "We could go to the mall and commentate what everyone's doing like we did at the party," she suggested with a small laugh.

"Yeah, that'd be nice," Louie smiled.

Back with Dewey and Webby:

"But why do we even have a speed limit then? If there are speed limits and we usually just go five to ten miles over that, why don't we just increase the speed on the speed limit sign but then strictly enforce that?" Dewey questioned, laying upside down on the couch, with his head hanging off.

"I dunno, I'm not a politician." Webby replied, laying in the same manner.

"Do you even know what a politician does?"

"Nope."

They both laughed at their own silliness.

"Hey, I've got question."

"Yeah?" Webby said in reply.

"If I were to ask you out on a date, would your answer be the same as the answer to this question?" Dewey asked.

"Wha...."

Dewey laughed, "If I were to ask you out on a date, would your answer be the same as the answer to this question?" he repeated.

"Um, yeah," Webby answered, still a bit confused, "I guess."

"Yes!" Dewey exclaimed, punching the air, then proceeding to fall of the couch, "Ow..."

All in all, it had been a pretty great Valentine's Day for all of them...
