Arcade Trip- Ending 3

Dewey sat on his bed, his legs swinging back and forth as he looked down at his lap. He hoped that his brothers would show up, ready to apologize to each other. He was really worried about both of them. He really cared about them and was surprised to see them fight. Huey and Louie never fought with each other. It was always Huey and Dewey who fought, so all of this, really worried the blue triplet. Dewey looked up when he heard the bedroom door open. He smiled softly, seeing both his brothers in the doorway.

"Hi." Huey greeted in a soft voice.

"Hey." Dewey replied, looking back down at his lap. "So, you read my text?"

"Yeah, we did." Louie answered. He looked over at Huey and sighed. "Hue, I'm really sorry I yelled at you earlier. I was just getting a bit, annoyed with your attitude."

"I'm sorry I gave you that attitude, I'm the same way when you two give me that attitude." Huey stated.

"Stubborn?" Dewey asked. "You're the only one that's stubborn Huey." The red triplet shook his head and pointed to Dewey.

"Nu-uh, you're stubborn too, and Louie." The triplets laughed softly.

"I guess we're all stubborn." They said in unison. Dewey nodded and smiled at his brothers.

"You two had me worried sick, I didn't want you two to fight, I should have asked you what was wrong earlier Hue, so, it's kind of my fault too."

"I don't blame you Dewey, I wouldn't talk to someone that was like me in a situation like that either." Huey admitted.

"Hue?" Louie called out. Huey looked over at his youngest brother.

"What is it Lou-Lou?"

"Why did you show me that picture of a hot dog? You know I hate those things."

"Sorry about that Louie, I didn't want you to win.....I was really upset at that point, plus it was a bit of revenge for saying I would fail at Speed of Light." Huey explained.

"And you did." Louie claimed.

"You guys aren't going to fight again, are you?" Dewey asked softly.

"No, no. Of course not." Huey sat down on the bed next to Dewey, Louie doing the same, but on the other side. They hugged their brother gently, smiling at him softly. "We just made up, we're not going to fight." Dewey smiled, enjoying the hug.

"You know, sometimes it's nice being the middle triplet." He admitted.

"Really? Just last week you were complaining about it." Louie claimed.

"Well, yeah, but there's still a few reasons why. First, I can get away with wanting attention, Second, I always go second, so if we have to try a nasty food, Huey goes first."

"Gee, thanks." Huey muttered.

"And third, I always get to be in the middle of our group hugs."

"That's sweet Dewey." Louie and Huey stated.

"Yeah, you guys are good brothers."
