Elliot woke up to his brothers gathering around him as he turned over, trying to fall back to sleep on the couch.

He knew exactly what his brothers (mainly Huey) were going to say to him. Huey was about to tap his brother's shoulder, but Mrs Beakley stopped him, placing a blanket over Elliot.

Elliot silently thanked Mrs Beakley.

Mrs Beakley: "Leave your brother to rest for a while, I will inform this to your uncle, so please leave him to rest"

Louie: "But Ottoman Empires is about to start, and I have planned out a 1-hour nap that I need to fill in for my daily snooze of the day"

Mrs Beakley glares at Louie as Dewey quickly starts to push him out of the room as Huey calmly follows after his brothers, staring back at his older brother, fast asleep.

30 minutes later

Elliot woke up to Scrooge staring worriedly at him as he groaned, stretching his arms before turning around to try to fall back to sleep.

But Scrooge wouldn't let him, pulling him upward as he tiredly glared at his uncle as Elliot put on his glasses.

Elliot: *Tiredly,* "Uncle Scrooge...let me fall back into the relaxing darkness"

Scrooge: "No you don't lad, Beakley informed me you pulled another late night shift"

Elliot: "Ugh....for the record, I had to stay at the boutique, Going over sales and records from the last week!"

Scrooge: "I know your business is important, but lad you need to take a break now and then!"

Elliot: "Do you take breaks daily?"

Scrooge hesitates as Elliot sits up, holding back a laugh as he soon stops, sensing his uncle's glare.

Scrooge: "I may run my company, but at least I have helping hands, which is what you need!"

Elliot sighs, shaking his head as Scrooge glares at him, not breaking eye contact as his nephew gives in.

Elliot: "Fine....I'll start looking for help!, Just....please stop glaring at me!!"

Scrooge chuckles as he leaves the room, leaving Elliot to lean back on the couch, sighing over what he is about to do.

Later That Night

On a stormy night, Elliot sighed as he prepared his 'HELP WANTED!!' poster for his shop. He wondered if he should've used more glitter for the sign.

Elliot hesitated placing it on the window but following his uncle's advice, placed it and started to head towards the back of the shop.

Until

A silhouetted figure stormed into the boutique as a flash of lightning appeared behind them.....revealing to be the Headless Horseman from Scrooge's garage.

Elliot jumped slightly before the horse threw the sign towards him, pointing to it repeatedly as he approached the desk.

Elliot: "You...want the job?"

The Headless Horseman nods his head, repeatedly tapping the sign in Morse code.

Thankfully, Fenton gave him some Morse code lessons when they went for their 3rd date, which led to Fenton blushing after receiving Elliot's 'naughty' message.

So he translated what the horse was saying...and he was emotional by the end of the story.

Apparently 'Manny' (which was his name) was in his Uncle's villain reformation program and worked very hard to try and get a job only for Gyro to shun him away.

Elliot nodded and took a moment to think this over.

On one hand, his uncle, and brothers won't be worried about him that much and Elliot will be able to spend more time with his family.

But on the other hand......

Gyro would be pissed.

And he wasn't going to let the opportunity pass him.

Elliot: "You're hired!!!"

The Next Day

Over at the lab, Fenton was currently mopping up the latest toxic spill left over from another one of Gyro's failed experiments.

He just happened to glance up at the tv, dropping the mop seeing his boyfriend and the headless horseman on the screen.

Fenton: "Dr Gearloose?.... I think you should see this!"

Gyro looked up at the TV along with Fenton as he gasps with his jaw opened as on the TV... Elliot standing inside his boutique with the headless horseman beside him.

Roxanne: "I'm here with famous designer Elliot Duck who has just hired a Headless Horseman to work for him, Elliot what encouraged you to hire a mystical creature?"

Elliot: "Great question Roxanne and I'm glad you asked, He used to try to get a job until Dr Screwloose pushed him away from the Money bin!....so I felt bad and offered him a job working with me!"

'Manny' pulls out a tissue, seemingly blowing it as Elliot pats his back sympathetically as Gyro growls, causing Fenton to slowly back away.

Elliot: "Gyro Screwloose if you're watching this, and I know you are!, You're nothing but some cheap lonely scientist who thinks he's high and mighty but you ain't!"

Gyro gritted his teeth and clenched his fist as Fenton bolted out of there in order to avoid Gyro's wrath, hearing his screams of rage from behind the elevator doors.

Elliot: "Before I forget Roxanne, That's a lovely outfit you're wearing, You are killing it today!"

Later that night

Elliot finished up with sprucing up the displays in the window with Manny's help, spotting Gyro and Fenton outside the window, making him smirk.

He strikes a few poses with Manny, making Fenton laugh with Gyro fuming as he stormed into the boutique, making Elliot smirk as he stepped behind the counter along with Manny.

Gyro: "You!"

Elliot: "Gyro Screwloose, You've finally come to your senses and decided to change your outfit"

Fenton snickers before stopping, seeing Gyro's deadly glare upon him, slowly backing away from him.

Gyro: "How dare you hire a killer horseman!..."

Elliot: "His name is Manny"

Gyro: "Whatever, Just wait until Mr McDuck gets here!"

Elliot: "You do know it was my uncle's idea to hire extra help and now that I think about it, I have the power to ban you from my boutique...Manny?"

Manny stands beside him, intimidating Gyro slightly as Elliot smiles at him.

Elliot: "Kick him out!"

Manny salutes him before picking up Gyro, ignoring his angry rants as Elliot walks behind him, locking the door to the boutique..

Manny makes his way to the money bin, carrying an angry Gyro as some bystanders take photos and videos of the scene.

Meanwhile

Elliot sighs, making his way back to the desk, smiling as Fenton approached him, hugging him tightly as the two shared a moment as the sun set over Duckberg.
