welp um i kind of forgot i had an art book for a while XD it's supposedly "school holidays" but i've a ton of homework and tests on the first week of school ;-;
literally rushing everything ahaha, and the worse thing is i'm back to my terrible webtoon+ anime+ youtube vids+ donghua binge... ahhhh

like i'm really busy ahaha and i can't resist checking out new things, maybe another chapter)

i've done a small comic-version of the lore but its may be inappropriate for certain audiences
(contains dark themes of death, horror & mild nudity— but nothing inappropriate)

bonus comic #2:

i used like twenty plus refs for everything in total (cuz i didn't copy anything directly lol, in the end i only used around ten refs) but guess what? i lost all of them cuz i stupidly deleted to clear up my gallery

anyways, since this isn't my character, she's just a one time thing so i didn't think up much for her haha XD but if you're wondering, that dog is cerberus :P
i wonder where Santa got it and what happened to cerberus after, hmmm
(don't ask, i don't even know what i'm basing the lore off anymore, let's just admire the crappy art :))

the most challenging part of this time management because i've to squeeze all my ideas+ school+ dateline of 20 days into one so the quality for everything isn't as good as it could be haha, i had to compromise :]

and hey— i actually drew my own background this time XD it's a quick one since the background isn't the focus at all, i spent like the shortest time on the sky :] , should've taken longer to refine it n stuff. took about 2h although it's a basic one, because i'm still not great at backgrounds... haven't done much of them anyways haha. i would practice more... next year :] like literally eleven months later—

inspiration:

webtoon: brain analogy- red dart (short story, 4eps)
basically about a vending machine who sells almost anything but sometimes the price may be more than one can afford...
and also inspiration from every other story who goes something like "you get what you wished for" thing
Furthermore, as the character i had to redraw has this... cool vibe that kinda suited a mysterious person thing (?) i kind of developed a mini story from there XD

i tried to stick as close as possible to the original design while adding a christmas theme— so i used some of the colours of the clothes from the original art— and kept the hat! XD i liked the OG hat so it lived on to the redesign— but fluffier :P
Additionally, the tiny green emeralds (?) are really cute- so i kept them too XD
thankfully green doesn't clash with the red theme :P

well, i'm too busy to make a bonus for this chapter lol. here's one of the crappy digital art i did:

mmm hes not an OC, just a fanart of something i've watched over the holidays XD i bet no one knows who he is, but that's fine, he's just art practice to check if i have retained my measly skills—
(spoiler: i've gotten worse in some areas, more so than improvements in fact XD but on a positive note, i've definitely gotten more familiar with the digital medium)

let me tell you, i struggled physically, emotionally and spiritually for the last page because i have never, ever, drawn horror or thought of horror stuff and have spent ages browsing the internet and redid it three times =.=
this is actually motivating me to start doing figure studies cuz i'm lacking—
