The august sun shone brightly on the two teenagers who were pulling out the weeds from the small vegetable patch. Inside the small though cosy house, Andromeda Tonks was baking a cake for the teenagers who insisted on helping her.

"Oi venus." Called teddy who was just a few steps away from where the brunette sat.

"What?" She asked, squinting her eyes slightly to have a better look at Teddy.

"Do you like worms?" He asked, the usual teasing smirk taking a control over his features.

"Ew no." Venus made a disgusted face before going back to what she was doing.

"But this one likes you."

Frowning, Venus turned her head to look at him when all of a sudden he ended up throwing the worm towards Venus. It landed on her hair making her scream loudly and throw the shovel towards Teddy who was laughing his ass off.

"Take it off me." Venus sobbed, combing her hair with her fingers.

"Everything fine kids?" Came Andromeda's voice from the cottage.

"Yes andy." Teddy responded, trying to control his laughter.

"Edward help me!" Venus was literally in tears as she desperately tried to get the sticky worm off her hair.

"Are. . . " Teddy stopped laughing when he found how worried the girl in front of her looked,"Are you crying?"

"I hate worms." Venus ignored his stupid question, frantically making a sobbing sound.

"Hey, Venus, please don't cry." Teddy knelt down next to her, looking for the worm which he had thrown on her,"I was just messing around you know. Just don't cry."

"You ruined my hair douche bag!" Venus exclaimed, running her hands through her brown hair several times.

"Are you for real?" Teddy frowned,"i thought you were crying because of the worm."

"My hair is more important than that stupid worm." Venus scoffed before squeaking,"oh there it is." She pointed at the earthworm crawling on the green, freshly cut grass.

"Just please don't tell andy that i threw the worm on you." He smiled nervously, pleading as he knew how protective his grandmother was when it came to the youngest nott.

"Only on one condition."

Teddy saw that coming as he gestured her to go on.

"I get an extra piece of cake!" Venus smirked, earning an eye roll from the young boy in front of her who got up on her feet before muttering a faint fine. Dusting her red floral dress which reached up to her knees, Venus ran inside, a huge grin resting on her face.

"Venus darling?" Andromeda called from the kitchen when she heard soft footsteps echoing in the whole cottage,"can you come here for a moment?"

"Yes andy." Venus replied, running inside the kitchen to find the older woman mixing the batter while eggshells were lying on the counter.

"Can you take out some butterbeer for teddy and yourself. you must be tired." Andromeda asked in her usual sweet tone, noticing sweat beads on the young girl's forehead.

Venus nodded with a smile and quickly served two glasses of the cold liquid, lesser amount in teddy's glass than in herself.

"Thank you andy." Venus grinned, pointing at the glasses of butterbeer in her hands and walked outside in the garden.

"Edward." She called, having teddy turn towards her with a questioning look on his face while he looked really pissed that he won't be getting the extra piece of the cake,"andy says come inside and have some butterbeer, it's alright if you don't want it."

"I didn't deny." Teddy rolled his eyes, running up to her before keeping the shovel and a small bucket on the side. He grabbed one of the glasses and took a sip, his eyes getting closed momentarily as he savored the taste of the cold liquid down his throat.

"Well when's your father coming?" Teddy questioned, following Venus inside the room next to the kitchen. The room was filled with photographs and beautiful paintings while a couch was kept on the side with a television in front of it.

"In the evening." Venus responded, plopping down on the couch,"why?"

"Oh I just can't wait for you to leave." Teddy leaned on the door frame, a smirk appearing on his face but it turned into an eye roll when venus held up her middle finger.

"You're so rude and for what?" Venus complained,"and anyway, andy specially invited me so shut the fuck up and bear my antics as you like to call them."

"Already doing that." Teddy scoffed turning around to leave when he knocked into the vase kept on the table, hurting his foot in the process. Venus ran towards him with the empty glass in her hand and laughed out louder just to annoy the boy further.

"Shut up." He snarled, limping inside the kitchen.

"Oh honey, are you okay?" Andromeda who had just finished putting the cake in the oven found his grandson limping inside with a upset expression on his face.

"Yes andy." Teddy managed to smile before falling down on one of the chairs.

"Are you exhausted?" Andromeda ran her hands over her grandson's hair.

"I am actually tired of her." Teddy whispered, making sure that venus wasn't around to hear him,"she annoys me so much. I literally can't stand her."

"She's really nice teddy." Andromeda smiled, exactly knowing who he was talking about,"i feel good when she's around. And after all, you two have been made the head boy and the head girl so just consider this as a little celebration."

Teddy knew he could never say no to his grandmother so he just smiled and nodded.

After a little celebration as Andromeda quoted it as, Teddy rushed to his room upstairs and slammed the door shut as soon as his eyes fell on the familiar owl sitting by the window sill. Downstairs, Venus was having a nice chat with Andromeda about her friends at hogwarts until the older woman got up to wash the dishes.

"Oh andy, I'll do it." Venus insisted, keeping her hands on Andromeda's shoulders, slightly pushing her away from the sink,"you should go and get some rest."

"Don't bother yourself venus." Andromeda tried to push her request away but seeing the pout on Venus' lips she half heartedly agreed. Venus grinned to herself and began cleaning the dishes. It took her just around twenty minutes and once she was done, she walked out of the kitchen when an evil idea popped in her head. 

 she barged inside teddy's neat room, startling the poor boy who accidentally dropped his quill on the floor. 

"Bloody hell venus, what are you doing?" Teddy frowned, picking up his quill and dipped it in the ink bottle before he continued the letter,"never mind, just get out."

"No." She laughed, standing besides teddy who tried to cover his letter with his arms,"who are you writing to?"

"It's none of your business!" Teddy exclaimed, crumbling the letter between his palms,"leave."

"Let me have a look." Venus complained, tickling his stomach causing teddy to drop the crumbled piece on the floor while desperately trying to get venus' hand off himself.

"Oh so it's your girlfriend." Venus smirked, straightening the paper . Teddy straightened his t-shirt and tried to snatch the letter out of venus' grip but before he could do so venus turned her back on him.

"Dear vicky." Venus read out loud,"oh wait wait, dear darling vicky."

"Give that back!" Teddy screeched, snatching the paper out of venus' grip who looked like she would just die of laughter.

"I'll see you later." Venus said in between her laughs and ran out of his room before he would kill her with the deathly glares.
