When Tori makes it to the shore, she finds Shane running towards her.

"Are you okay, Tor?"

The concern in his voice makes her smile. Tori nods, savoring the warmth of his palm against her cold cheek. This guy, and everything about them feels so surreal sometimes.

"Hey Tor! How ya holdin' up?"

A chorus of voices greets her. Tori brushes back her damp bangs. Putting some distance between her and Shane, she turns to the gang-- "I'm fine guys, I'm fine-- oh--"

She's thought of no PDA, but that's not what he's been thinking at all. Shane has pulled her into a half hug--

"we must check for injuries, like run a quick scan or something."

Tori giggles resting her hands against his chest. The water from her hands, and damp clothes begins to darken the fabric of his shirt, and she bites her lip pushing herself away from him.

"Shane, you guys-- I'm fine. I'll change. Just you guys wait... Cam, tell them."

Shane can do nothing but stare at Tori as she takes off running, surfing board ducked under one arm.

"She's... oh god, what's she, huh? And you let her go, Cam... wait, I'm the one who let her go, huh?"

Cam shakes his head with a sigh. For some reason Shane has become way too overprotective of the blue ranger ever since they've gotten together.

No doubt,now he's gonna chase after her.

"Shane... if Tori says she's fine, know that she is."

Dustin barges in-- "yeah, she looks fine to me."

Shane pauses to take a deep breath and smiles at the guys. "Yeah, guys, you're right! I kinda lost myself there. Such a shame, huh?"

He ruffles his hair with a goofy grin and folds his arms. Love has turned him into an idiot but it's not entirely bad. Now he's gonna wait for her to come back.

Cam chuckles. Red and Blue are actually sweet together. But not to all since Blake's been sighing. Well, he did find someone nice to date, or so he heard... So why the sighing?

Just then Tori emerges, having changed into warm clothes.

"Hey!" Dustin greets her.

"You okay?" Hunter asks.

Blake remains silent.

Tori nods at each of them, realizing that the beach is surprisingly empty. A smile tugs at her lips when Shane reaches for her hand-- which turns into a grin when the gang announces the party is still on.

And that's how exactly she's found herself in this rather cozy, romantic situation with Shane--

It's a little too much to take, to be sitting between his legs, feeling the ocean air on her cheeks while watching the now crackling bonfire.

"Warm enough, my love?"

Now he wraps his arms around her, and she bites back a smile.

Well, she's warm and fuzzy all over thanks to him. She's not really cold. Okay... she nearly choked herself under that big wave but these things aren't new. Oh, but she's not about to tell Shane all that...

She nods, twisting her head so she can see that cute smile of his from up close. A part of her still can't believe they are here like this after everything. And it happens on an impulse, she ends up placing a quick kiss on his lips. Shane kisses her back.

The gang's teasing whistles ring in the air, and Tori hurriedly turns her head away, pursing her lips.

Shane wraps his arms more tightly. This isn't the first time that Tori surprises him like this. And yet he always ends up losing himself around her.

And the others, they are all viciously teasing the two of them--

"Lovey dovey all over! I'm jealous!"

And Dustin has even put together a new rhyme!

"Red and blue, fly to the moon..."

And Hunter is always the coy one-- "Get a room you two.."

"Oh we're about to do that, trust me." Shane answers back, chuckling.

Tori holds back a smile, the party has slowed down but everyone has a smile on their faces. Except Blake...

Their eyes meet for a second and Tori looks away. Well, she hadn't been one bit stealthy about her crush on the guy-- well, it was just a crush... not even crush, maybe just admiration for a dashing guy, fellow thunder ranger?

"Hey! Maybe we should get back and do something about your still wet hair--" says Shane running a hand through her hair.

"Yeah, we should head back too, and call it a night."

"Yeah. It was fun..."

"Yeah, thank god it was only a small shake. I really thought Kelzaks are gonna spring at us or something."

Everyone shares a laugh as they make their way towards Tori's van.

Dustin bumps his fists with the two thunder rangers, and begins to make plans for an upcoming race.

Shane uses this exact opportunity to talk to Tori. "how about we head to my place, so you know... I can take good care of you..."

Tori's eyes bulge. His place. Well, he's got an apartment here in the city, she's been there countless times, but never spent the night. Besides Dusty was there all the time!

Blake, Hunter, Dustin are dumbstruck too, but soon they resume their discussion.

"Hey what? Answer me!" demands Shane, not bothering to wave back at Hunter and Blake who speed away on their bikes.

"Uh... Shane you... We.. I think we shouldn't do that in front of Blake..." Tori doesn't know what made her say it, but she did and Shane doesn't look pleased.

"What? What do you mean?"

The red ranger takes a step back, but his intense gaze is still on her.

"I mean... Blake is a friend. And we should look out for him..." Tori explains.

Dustin looks between his two best friends anxiously.

"What?!" Shane is yelling this time, losing all his calm.

He takes a deep breath before he talks again-- "look, I don't intend to hurt anyone, but should we be doing that? Obviously, do I have to think twice before I approach my girl?"

"It's not like that--" Tori tries to speak but--

"You're more worried about him than our relationship--"

"Shane! That's not how it is at all! I only mean--" Tori yells, now frustrated.

Shane won't listen to what she has to say--

"Fine! Don't sweat! We are not doing anything before anybody... well, let's not do anything at all!"

Tori glares at Shane. He glares back before turning on his heel and walking away.

Tori sighs. That declaration just now-- a breakup?

Dustin places a hand over her shoulder and she can't bring herself to look at him or at the red ranger who just nearly broke her heart and walked away.
