"I'm home,"

I say as I enter my house greeted with the same welcome as always. My children excited to see me and a kiss from my wife.

"I ordered pizza for dinner and it should be here soon," says my wife Emma.

"Sounds delicious," I responded.

"Can we go outside and play football today please," begs my son Henry.

My other son James and my daughter Mary join in.

"Sure, I'll be out there soon I have some work to do but I should be finished in about 15 to 20 minute ok," I say but they barely heard anything after sure because they were so excited.

"Do you know where..." "Don't worry she's just going to a friends." "Ok then."

I go to my office but before I get a chance to sit down my phone rings. It's a number I don't recognize so I let it go to voicemail. Not a minute after it hangs up they call again and I answer.

"Hel..." before I can even get the word out of my mouth, "Help me." a desperate voice says.

"Who is this..." I ask.

"Please help me I don't want to die," I hear the stranger gasp.

"He's coming." The phone hangs up.

What's going on. I tell my wife and she says it's just a prank and to ignore it. I can't believe that, the desperation in her voice was to real. I can't get that voice out of my head, "Help me.... I don't want to die..... He's coming."

Why would she die and who was coming. Her voice was filled with true terror that can't be faked. I thought I should call her back so I can know for sure but if this was real calling the strange number could.... I don't want to think about it.

Then suddenly I remember I sent my kids outside. I run to the window to make sure they're ok and I see them walking up to a car I've never seen. I run outside to stop them when I realize it was only the pizza guy. I should just put it out of my mind or else this will drive me crazy. I take the pizza in, then go back outside to play football with my kids.

The thought even slipped my mind, I could actually enjoy the time with my kids for a little bit. That is until my phone rings and it's the same unknown number calling me back.
