Angel's POV

I reached hospital and my phone rang. I picked it up "haan bolo Sachin.." as it was Sachin's call.

"Mam.. Sachin sir ka phone car mein chut gaya hai, wo ghar aayenge to bata dena unhe" the driver said.

I was confused and asked "wo toh pune gaya hai na?"

"Jee nhi mam, Arjun sir aur Sachin Sir office mein hai kuch kaam se aur unhone kaha hai disturb na kare aur Arjun sir call nhi utha rahe hai mera socha aapko kehdu as ghar pe koi hoga nhi" he said.

"Acha thik hai thank you.." I ended the call.

I thought "ye dono pune kyun nhi gaye?"

I sighed and brushed off my thoughts when a nurse called me. I got busy with the patients. I was feeling really strange. Suddenly I felt a pinch in my heart, I picked up my phone and called Manvi but she was not answering my call. I called the landline but none picked up the call.

"Mujhe ghar jaana hoga.." I moved but my senior stopped me.

"Angel please chalo we need to attend the patient, wo bahut serious hai" she said.

I could not deny and moved, I messaged Arjun to reach home and check on Manvi.

Manvi's POV

I moved out and was left shocked when a hand covered my mouth with his palm. It was the same touch, it was him again. I pushed him and ran for my life. I hit with something on the way and fall down. I was hurt badly on my head "Ahh.." a painful sigh escaped from my mouth.

The person was clever, he was not saying a world from his mouth. I felt his hand gripping my arm and picked me up. I shouted "nahi.. Di.." but I realised no one is at home.

The house phone was ringing, the person pulled me into the room. I was struggling to free myself, I shouted "leave me.. Di.."

He threw me to the bed with full force, before I could react. I found myself heavier. Someone keeping his whole weight on me. I was helpless as I could not see the person. Tears were brimming down my eyes. He clutched my hand tightly on the mattress. I tried to jerk him but he was really firm. My scream faded when I felt him kissing my lips harshly.

His dirty hands were again touching my body. He removed my clothes forcefully. He cupped my breasts and stroked them hard. He trailed his lips down my midriff and kissed around my belly button. I could just struggle to get free, but all my sounds were light to reach anyone as no was at home. I felt his fingers deeper inside me, I was feeling pain and shouted.. "Nahi.."

I was crying badly with all this. I hated this. After few seconds, he entered inside me hardly. A painful sigh escaped from my mouth. The pain was undefined. He hit the deepest point inside me. He was really hard and rough.His hands were exploring my curves simultaneously and his lips were leaving the dirty marks.

I heard a car stopping sound from outside, it seemed someone had arrived home. I shouted "bachao.. Di.. help"

I felt myself lighter, it seemed the person had left me. I tried to sit up but failed as I was in deep pain. I shut my eyes and next moment I felt someone again touching me.

Angel's POV

I was getting worried as Arjun had not replied or called me. I left the hospital in between as I was really worried now. I kept on calling Manvi but she was not answering my call.

I called Naina "maaji aap log event se nikle ki nahi?"

"Bas beta nikal gaye hai kuch der pahuch jayenge ghar" she replied.

I ended the call and drove towards house as quick as possible. I reached home and got off the car. I saw Sachin standing at the door, he approached me and asked "Kahan thi tum?"

"Hospital mein aur tum ghar ke bahar kyun khade ho?" I asked.

"Mere paas ghar ki chabi nhi thi aur phone main bhool gaya tha car mein.. Toh kaise kisiko call karta" he replied.

"But Arjun toh tumhare saath tha na?" I asked.

"Nhi wo toh apne ghar pe gaya tha kuch personal kaam tha usey" Sachin said.

I moved towards the door and unlocked it with key. I entered inside, along with Sachin.

"Acha main upar jaa raha hun fresh hone.." he said and moved upstairs. I rushed to Manvi's room and was left shocked seeing her. She was sitting down on bed like a statue. Her eyes were red it seemed she had been crying for while. I moved to her and touched her.

She shouted "nahi.. Nahi.." and jerked away.

I was left astonished with this. Her head was bleeding too, there were some marks on her arm. I held her arm she shouted.. "Nahi.. aahh.."

She shouted in pain, tears brimmed down my eyes. I said "mannu.. Main hun Di.."

She was shivering badly. She kept her head on my chest and cried "Di..."

I was scared, I asked "mannu.. Kya hua?"

She was silent and just crying, Sachin said from behind "Angel thik hai sab?"

I was about to go but Manvi did not freed me. I looked towards him and said "Sachin please darwaza band karke bahar jao mujhe iska check up karna hai"

He looked towards me confused, he stepped out and closed the door.

I looked at her and said "manvi.. Mujhe batao kya hua.."

The fear was clearly visible on her face, I sighed. I had no other option left then to check her up. My hands were trembling, I feared and was taken aback seeing the marks on her body. I shut my eyes and tears slipped down my eyes. She was raped, someone took advantage of her blindness. Everything was now clear, the reason of her changed behaviour was clear.

I cupped her face and asked being strong "hamari anniversary waali raat bhi yahi hua tha?"

She shook her head in yes. I asked "kyun nhi bataya mujhe haan?"

She hugged me tight "kaise batati di.. Koi nhi yakeen karta.. Main toh dekh bhi nhi saki usey.. Na koi awaaz, sirf ek touch.." she said with trembling voice.

I could not hold my emotions, tears brimmed down my eyes. I said "shh.. Bas main hun na tere saath.."

"Kyun di kaha tha na maine mujhe akela mat chodna.." she spoke with painful voice.

I was helpless, I could not save her. She was here with my responsibility. Not once but twice she was raped. Once, in my presence. I was angered with myself. I looked down, she had fainted. I made her lay properly and gave her injection.

Sachin was knocking the door "Angel.. Sab thik hai na?"

I hopped off bed and opened the door. I looked at him and stepped out, closing the door. I moved to the couch and sat down with thud. I hide my face in between my hands. I could not protect her, how can I fail in my responsibility.

Sachin came to me and asked "kya hua hai Angel? Kuch bataogi mujhe"

I looked at him and broke into tears. "Sachin.." I just could take his name.

He held my hand and asked "kya hua.. Why are you crying?"

"Manvi wo.. She is raped.." I said while closing my eyes for a moment. I opened back and found him staring at me with shocked expressions.

"What? Are you sure?" he asked.

I nodded "haan.. Aur aaj hi nhi uss din bhi yahi hua tha. jabse uske behaviour mein change hua hai.." I replied.

I bit my own lower lip and said "I failed Sachin.. Sabka ilaj karti firtu hun.. Bachati hun aur apni behen ki izzat nhi bacha paayi main.. Khudko maaf nahi kar paungi main Sachin nahi kar paungi"

He pulled me into his embrace and I cried...

Naina, Rajdeep returned home. Naina asked "kya baat hai bahu ro kyun rahi hai?"

I stood up cleared my eyes and said "kuch nhi maaji.."

I moved to Manvi's room, I closed the door.

Sachin looked towards Naina and Rajdeep who were giving him questioning look.

"Maa.. Dad wo Angel ka kehna hai kisine Manvi ke saath zabardasti ki" he said.

They were left stunned hearing this, Rajdeep asked "What?? Aise kaise??."

"Pata nhi Dad.. " Sachin said.

I looked towards Manvi, who was sleeping under sedative effect. I thought "I won't spare the person mannu.. Bhale hi tum dekh nhi sakti par ek touch se pehchan sakti ho utna hi kaafi hai aur jisne ye sab kiya hai na chodungi nhi main.." i murmured.

I moved to bed and lay down beside her but sleep was away from my eyes.
