4. Can You Feel?

The little rain drop
Falls down from leaf to leaf
Leaving a trail behind.
A sign of comfort it gives
To the dried leaves
Embracing them with it's soothing coldness.

It goes on and on
And at last falls to the earth
Seeping through
A hundred of pecks of dust
Letting the earth swallow it as a whole
Making that heavenly smell

It enters through the nostrils;
The sweet smell
That no lavish scent can give
That exceeds the smell
Of the sweetest of flowers
Not all can smell it or
Fancy it, yearning for it
Only the adorers who
Waits for it patiently
Even in the softest drizzle
Can feel it.

The greenery must have
Felt it too because I can
See them sniff the air
With their newly formed smiles
Swaying rhythmically
Forming ties with the cold breeze,
The comfort it gives
Is something that can be
Only felt from heaven
Maybe a place even
Higher than heaven.
