It was a mess. A pure fucking mess. Mark had pleaded for you both to not do this. Felix had pleaded for you both to not do this. Even Wade and Bob had pleaded for you both to not do this. But what did you do.

You both did it anyway.

And that was all it took for everybody to groan and babysit both you and Jack.

"Fook off!"

Jack slurred as he pushed your wobbly body almost out of the kitchen chair. You laughed loudly and rather crazy at Jack's drunken attempts to shut you up.

"Why do you gotta be so damn mean to me when you're drunk?"

You were slurring so bad you were surprised that you could even speak at this point. But it was true Jack always got pretty mean when he got drunk to this point. Nobody knew if it was just his personality change from happy-go-lucky when he was sober too a total dick when he was drunk, but either way right now he was being pretty mean.

"Ye can't just say that ye love me n shit and not actually love me!"

"But I do love you, Jack!"

"Shut up!"

He barked and downed the last of his drink. Ignoring your pleads of affection toward the green haired Irishman.

"How long have they been at it?"

Wade asked, almost afraid to know the answer. Bob shook his head as he looked toward the two of you.

"At least an hour. They're trying to drink each other under the table."

Bob said with a completely done expression. Mark watched from the corner with Felix as their game was currently paused to see the two of you arguing with each other in the kitchen.

"Ye can't beat me!"

Jack nearly screamed, throwing his hands up into the air and clapping as if he had accomplished something -- aside from getting completely shit faced.

You laughed and wiggled an eye brow.

"That's what you think Jackaboy!"

And another drink was downed.

Jack groaned and threw back another drink. You followed, matching him with another shot of the Jack Daniels the both of you had been sharing.

Mark and Felix turned around and resumed the game. Both men shaking their heads at their friends.

Their idiotic drinking buddy friends.
