Childhood Memories part 1
The Pines family was sitting in the shack looking at Mabel's scrapbook and showing Will all of their memories. It was the first day in the third week....soon they will realize their mistake.
"Oh, I remember that birthday!" Mabel squealed excitedly pointing to a picture covered in glitter and laughing.
"Oh yeah...Please don't tell them what happened!" Dipper blusing glowing a shade of red.
"Why ,what happened?" Will asked.
"I'm also very curious to know." Ford imquired smiling.
"Please tell it Mabes, please?" Wendy begged.
Mabel beamed while Dipper groaned. "Oh, I'll tell you!" She smiled misceviously.
"It was our sixth birthday!" Mabel began.
The small pines twins were in their room arguing about how to plan their 6th birthday party and each had different ideas that they both hated. Dipper wanted a monster themed party, and Mabel wanted a rainbow unicorn glitter party.
"C'mon Dippy, let's have a rainbow unicorn glitter party!" Mabel begged her brother.
"No, I want a monster party!"Dipper argued.
"I'm older!" Mabel shouted.
"By 5 minutes!" Dipper shouted back.
The twin's mother, Sheila Pines walked in and separated the arguing kids. "Now you two, you need to be fair and decide on something you both like!" "We aren't having a mixed party like last year!" She said firmly.
"But mommy, I want unicorns!" Mabel wined.
"And I want monsters!" Dipper replied.
"Now, I'm sure you both can talk this out, but if you can't, then no cake!" Sheila stated gaining both twins attention.
"Ok mom." Dipper sighed.
"Ok mommy." Mabel agreed.
Sheila seemed satisfied and headed out of the room to leave Dipper and Mabel by themselves to talk.
"Dippy, we need to stop arguing and decide!" "You heard what mommy said, no cake!" Mabel exclaimed.
"Yeah, ok...what's something we both like?" Dipper asked.
Mabel gasped and cried out. "Mysteries!" "We can have a mystery birthday party with a scavenger hunt, and have a mystery flavor cake!" She decided.
Dipper smiled. "I think that's a good idea, let's tell mom!" He agreed.
So, both twins told Sheila their party plan and she agreed that it was a great idea. So, they made a birthday cake with mixed flavors so that each person got a different flavor to guess! Mabel wore her birthday sweater and Dipper wore his usual attire.
Soon, the party began and the twins greeted their friends. "Hi Lola, hi Sharon, hi may!" Mabel greeted exitedly.
"Hey Dipper, Happy birthday!" two kids called. A girl and a boy.
"Hi Erin, hey Sam!" "Thanks!" Dipper greeted polietly.
Soon, they Opened presents. "Ooo, I got a rainbow unicorn glitter sweater, thanks Mommy and Daddy!" Mabel squealed hugging her parents.
Both parents beamed happily. "Your welcome sweetie!" They replied.
"Oh, cool I got a hat, thanks!" Dipper shouted exitedly putting it on. It was the lucky green star hat That he would wear until Gravity Falls.
Next, they had cake, everyone got a different flavor. "I got bubblegum!" Mabel cherred. "Mmm, I got blue raspberry!" Dipper shouted licking the blue icing.
Suddenly, Sharon pelted Dipper with her cake and laughed. The other kids did the same. Dipper grew red with embarrassment.
"Stop it!" He shouted trying not to cry.
"That's enough!" Sheila said sharply. She made the kids apologize and sent them home.
Dipper went up to their room to change. Mabel followed worried. "Dippy, you ok?" She asked.
The young boy sniffed and shook his head. "No, they always do that!" He cried hiding his face in his hat and sitting on the bed.
Mabel sat next to him and gave him a hug. "Sorry about my friend...I guess there not so no friendly after all." She apologized guilty that she'd invited them.
"It's ok." Dipper replied glumly wiping the frosting off of his vest.
"Hey, how about we have our own party with Mommy and Daddy?" Mabel suggested.
Dipper smiled and stood up. "Ok, thanks for cheering me up Mabel, your the best twin ever!" He cherred hugging her.
They twins had their own party that was more fun than before because they just had family, and that was enough.
Mabel finished the story and everyone laughed, cried, clapped and cheered. "That was so adorable 'Dippy'!" Wendy laughed using the past nickname.
"Yes, only I wish those kids hadn't done that to you Dipper." Ford replied uncertainly. "If you want, I could teach em' a lesson for ya." Stan offered.
Dipper laughed. "Thanks, but they moved to a different school 5 years ago, so it's fine." He explained.
"So even back then you dudes liked mystery huh?" Soos smiled.
"Yep!" "It's awesome!" Mabel cherred.
"I agree, I'm glad you both had a mostly pleasant birthday!" Will declared kissing Mabel's cheek.
"Hey Will, you've got any cool childhood memories with...Bill?" Wendy asked hesitating the name.
Will smiled sadly at her. "Well...there is one memory I remember well..."He stated.
"Memories are the best kinds of moments..."
