Falling Hard

First you start, excited you'll be.

Then you try, try, try, all the errors you can't see.

Feeling annoyed, you find yourself re reading.

Spotting mistakes, you'll think you're misreading.

Misleading your thoughts when you say that you suck.

Pleading yourself that this is good enough.

Bipolar decisions rake in your brain.

Hating your creations, you post anyways.

Hoping and praying that people do enjoy.

Comparing and declaring someone else steals your joy.

Your heart broken, endless the pain will seem.

But you'll always be just you, so simply let it be.

The creations you make all define your glee.

Every inch of your work consuming time.

They say "why waste time stuck in a rhyme!"

But it's not a crime to try and climb.

Climb up to my dreams, and reach for those stars.

Who said it's impossible; I can reach Mars.

Differences inevitable, differences grow strong.

You say you're just you, and that you don't belong.

But what others see in you, is a mindset gone wrong

Imperfect imperfections, we're all burdened too.

Perfection a myth, blinded by jealousy, me too.

All humans on Earth, oh why can't you see.

And yet the question that bombards.

Is how to rise from falling hard?

Look no further than the sky, and stars above.

The answers lie there, past the sun past the stars.

Just open your eyes, and you will see.

Your creations are a gift, let them be free!

Roam your mind, and feel your power.

A useless cattle no more, stop feeling so shattered.

For now you know, and understand.

Your talents will not be broken.

For once it's yours there's no saying "I can't!"

Hold you head up high, and shine brightly, you'll see.

Your works, your gift, not asunder, and won't ever be.
