《prologue》
This was her idea of a perfect summer. Conjuring up a bright, colorful, happy town with her reigning as mayor--isn't that just wonderful?
But the young girl didn't feel satisfied.
She gazed upon her world. All her dreams, wishes, desires, all housed in a bubble. She can and she may think up of anything, just anything, and with a snap of her fingers, it's sitting right in front of her. Her two dream boys? Glitter galore? A cooler 80's version of her brother? She didn't miss anything.
But to her, she did.
And she had no idea how to make it appear.
How to make him appear.
She still felt lonely. The guilt was too much for her to bear.
Even her dream world seemed to share the feeling--it looked as though everything was getting heavier and heavier and darker and colder and--
She's just too tired. She's just too tired to even cry it all out.
. . .
. . .
A small piece of paper fluttered out of her hands as she turned over in her bed.

It was unusually freezing. The noise outside suddenly went quiet. All you could hear was the wind blowing, howling through a seemingly endless abyss.
The sound of something falling echoed in the distance, booming with the dreaded rumble of rocks breaking apart. A small amount of debris fell from a nearer structure. Tiny cracks formed on the path.
Nothing else came after that.
Just silence.
Plain silence.

I've risen from the dead! I suddenly lost the ability to write, so I apologize if this part is, well, too short ._. I'll need to recap on the oneshots I've written.
This is a piece I made specially for this year's GF Wattys. I missed the last one, and I'm glad it's starting back up! They're now judging works based on quality. I'm happy to know that I'll be seeing more underrated works get noticed. :D
I'll just write more chapters of this, then I'm set.
