Hiccup and Fishlegs made it back to the Edge with Aggie, and they find Gobber outside the stables. Aggie stayed close to Hiccup as he went to Gobber, she was looking around with curiosity and wonder in her yellow eyes.

Hiccup: How's Tuff, Gobber?

Gobber: Gone. He and the chicken flew the coop last night, said something about taking flight off the tallest cliff when he went " full dragon ".

Hiccup: You didn't try to stop him?

Gobber: I was a bit busy.

Aggie: ( cutely tilts her head in confusion ) But Vikings can't fly.

Gobber: Who's the kid?

Hiccup: This is Aggie, the Lycanwing Thyra was talking about.

Gobber: Excuse me, this little lass is a what?

Aggie: ( cutely waves at Gobber ) Hello!

Fishlegs: ( to Gobber: ) What were you busy with?

Gobber: Extracting sea snake venom from Snotlout. You should have heard him. He sounded like a yak being turned inside out.

Aggie: Ew...

Hiccup: Well, we better go tell Ruffnut.

Gobber: Gone too. She and Thyra went to go look for her brother. Both of them seemed to think whether he was a dragon or not he wouldn't survive " the flight ". Ruffnut dragged Snotlout with them. Personally, I'm surprised he made the trip. The boy's not looking too well, and Thyra's skrill seems to find his misery amusing.

Aggie then raised her hand with a smile.

Hiccup: Yes, Aggie?

Aggie: Why does your friend think he's turning into a dragon?

Gobber: He got bit by a Lycanwing.

Hiccup: Actually, he didn't, Aggie can you show your scar to Gobber?

Aggie: ( with a smile: ) Okay!

Aggie shows Gobber her bite scar and he sees that it looks nothing like Tuffnut's bite wound.

Gobber: Well, good to know he's not actually turning into a Lycanwing. Thyra was right.

( Meanwhile with Thyra, Ruffnut, and Snotlout, in the forest )

Thyra, Ruffnut, and Snotlout were trying to find Tuffnut, Thyra's dragons were following them. Blare was following Tuffnut's scent while Icestorm, Fennec, and Tadpole were staying close to Thyra.

Snotlout: I don't know if Gobber got it all. I'm starting to feel a little woozy, and all I see is fog.

Thyra: ( to Snotlout with an annoyed expression: ) That's because it's foggy, muttenhead.

Ruffnut: ( annoyed ) ( to Snotlout: ) Hurry up, Snotlout, before Tuffnut jumps off a cliff or something!

Snotlout: Do you guys think he needs a full Lycanwing to remember all the nasty stuff I said to him?

Thyra: Well, I remember every nasty thing you said to me, so...

Ruffnut: ( to Snotlout, with a smirk: ) And he did say that he was gonna eat you first. Hopefully he'll be quick. No, actually I hope it'll be slow and painful.

Tuffnut then suddenly appeared upside down from a nearby tree, scaring the three riders and Thyra's dragons.

Tuffnut: I am Lycanwing! Run, run for your lives...

Snotlout: Ah! Ah, no, get away from me!

Snotlout then ran away, making Thyra and Ruffnut roll their eyes in response.

Thyra: What a coward.

Ruffnut: ( to Thyra: ) Agreed.

The two girls then saw that Tuffnut was running away, and they quickly ran after him with Thyra's dragons following after them. Thyra was close on Tuffnut's tail.

Ruffnut: ( yells as she's running after her brother: ) Tuffnut! Get back here! I command thee... Lycanwing! Thyra! Tackle him or something!

Ruffnut lost both Tuffnut and Thyra because they were faster than her, Thyra's dragons stayed with Ruffnut as she was slowing down.

Ruffnut: Oh...slow down! Slow down, both of you...! How is Thyra so fast?! She's so small.

Thyra was still on Tuffnut's tail, and Tuffnut glanced to her behind him with a scared expression.

Tuffnut: How are you so fast?!

Tuffnut, Chicken, and Thyra made it to the edge of the cliffs.

Thyra: ( is only slightly out of breath: ) This idiot is a lot faster than he looks.

Tuffnut: The apex is upon us! C'mon, do it with me, Chicken! It feels so good!

Thyra: ( thoughts as she looks at Tuffnut like he had gone insane as he continues talking to the chicken: ) What the heck is this guy on?!

Thyra snapped out of her thoughts as Tuffnut started making strange, animalistic noises.

Tuffnut: Ahhh! It's happening, it's happening, I can feel it!

Thyra: ( silently, to herself: ) And people think me and Dagur are crazy. This man is just a whole another level.

Tuffnut: Are you ready, Chicken? Are you finally ready to be free?!

Tuffnut held up the chicken high in the air and extended one of his legs out towards the edge of the cliff as Ruffnut finally got there.

Thyra: No, no, no! Tuffnut, don't do this, you crazy muttenhead!

Ruffnut: TUFF! DON'T DO IT!

Tuffnut then took a step back and glared at the chicken.

Tuffnut: Ughhh! We've been through this, Chicken! Don't try and impersonate my sister or my slightly unhinged friend with trust issues.

Thyra: ( to herself, under her breath: ) Why the heck was that last part so specific?

Tuffnut: ( to the chicken: ) We made a pact! I'm doing it and you're coming with me.

Thyra looked at the situation with worry and fear for what Tuffnut is about to do, but as her bad luck had it, the voices in Thyra's head began plaguing her thoughts as they began whispering to her that she was at fault for what was happening in front of her.

Ruffnut: ( pleadingly, to Tuffnut, clueless about what was happening to Thyra: ) Tuffnut, it's me! Look at me, bro! You can fight this!

Thyra started tuning everything out as the voices began to become louder and louder, then suddenly...the voices disappeared when she heard Hiccup's voice.

Hiccup: Tuff, stop!

Thyra glanced behind her to see that Hiccup and the rest of the riders minus Snotlout had arrived on their dragons, all four of Thyra's dragons went to Thyra as they knew what had happened to their rider. Hiccup stood beside Thyra as he talked to Tuffnut, Toothless stood beside Blare, who was worried that the male Thorston twin was going to jump.

Hiccup: ( to Tuffnut: ) There is no metamorphosis, alright? You are not turning into a dragon. Fishlegs, please tell him.

Fishlegs: It's true! We found  the cave of the Lycanwing. We actually found the Lycanwing Thyra met and her bite scar looks nothing like your's.

Thyra: ( looks at Hiccup and Fishlegs with a shock expression ) What?

That's when Aggie, who was currently a dragon, flew up to Tuffnut and gently pulled him away from the edge before she slowly turned back into her normal, adorable human self. Thyra put her hands over her mouth as she and her dragons stared at Aggie, who hadn't noticed their presence yet.

Aggie: Please don't jump. Vikings and chickens can't survive a fall like that.

Tuffnut: No, no! I don't believe you. Look at me. I'm hideous, I'm terrifying!

Astrid: Tuff! You're not hideous! Terrifying at times, yes. Hideous? No.

Tuffnut: Then what gave me this?! ( gestures to his bite wound and their was a moment of silence from the other riders ) That's what I thought. Now, it's time to fly! ( goes back to the edge of the cliff )

Aggie: ( with a smile: ) You all know that's a wol-

Snotlout then appeared with a bag that had something alive inside it, Snotlout looked worse than before.

Snotlout: Wait wait wait wait! Wait! I can explain! I can explain it!

Tuffnut: Whoa, you look worse than I do.

Hiccup: Uh, Snotlout? What do you have in that bag?

Snotlout: I have what did this! ( shows that he now had a identical bite wound to Tuffnut's )

Tuffnut: Ah! The Lycanwing got to him too. Save yourselves!

Aggie then laughs in response, confusing everyone except Snotlout and Thyra.

Aggie: That's not a Lycanwing bite wound! Hahaha! That's a wolf bite wound! Not a dragon at all.

Snotlout: The kid that appeared out of nowhere 's right. It's a wolf. And I caught him. You're not turning into a dragon, Tuffnut.

Tuffnut: I'm not? I'm not!

Thyra: ( snaps at Tuffnut out of frustration from trying to tell him that since he started thinking that: ) That's literally what I've been trying to tell you this whole time, you son of a-

Aggie: ( happily: ) Thyra!

Aggie then hugged tackled Thyra to the ground, Thyra slowly calmed herself down for Aggie's sake before she hugged the little girl back, making Hiccup smile while the other riders minus Fishlegs were confused by how Aggie knew Thyra.

Snotlout: Anyway... ( to Tuffnut: ) I just made you think that! But it's not true. It's funny, but it's not true.

The ledge Tuffnut was standing on suddenly breaks off, and he falls off with Chicken, and Tuffnut quickly grabs the chicken. Thyra quickly puts Aggie down, and she grabbed the back of Tuffnut's shirt, stopping him and his pet chicken from falling to their certain death.

Tuffnut: ( to the chicken: ) Don't worry, buddy! I've gotchu. We're going home, Chicken. We're going home.

Thyra then slowly pulled Tuffnut and Chicken back up with the help of Hiccup and her dragons.

Hiccup: Oh, thank Thor.

Thyra: ( takes a deep breath of relief ) I swear, the next time something like this happens, I'm staying out of it.

Ruffnut runs up to her brother and hugs him.

Tuffnut: ( to Ruffnut: ) I know what you're gonna say, you realize how much you love me, you were scared, you were gonna lose me, and I better not do that again.

Ruffnut: Actually, I was just going to tell you what an idiot you are. Come here.

The twins hugged once again. Hiccup, Thyra, and Aggie then noticed that the wolf Snotlout caught was gone.

Hiccup: Uh, Snotlout, where's the wolf?

Snotlout: ( confused: ) Huh?

The wolf then appears and was about to lunge at Snotlout, who screamed, but Aggie then went in front of Snotlout and looked at the wolf with a smile, showing her tiny fangs to the wolf.

Aggie: ( cutely, to the wolf: ) Hi there!

The wolf quickly became scared and ran away with its tail between his legs, making Aggie whine.

Aggie: Aw...

Thyra: It's alright, kid. That wolf just didn't deserve to be around your presence of optimism and cuteness.

Hiccup: Speaking of which.... ( to Thyra: ) Can you explain why Aggie was left on Lycanwing Island by herself?

Thyra sighs in response as all the Dragon riders were looking at her, expecting an answer while all the dragons besides Thyra's were walking close to Aggie and sniffing her curiously, Thyra's dragons were protectively growling at the other dragons as they were getting too close to the young lycanwing, who didn't seem to mind as she giggled at the dragons' behavior towards her.

Thyra: ( sighs ) Alright, alright. I didn't want to leave her there, but she wasn't better off there instead of being with me.

Astrid: ( with her arms crossed: ) And why is that?

Thyra: Because I may have a.... bounty on my head for something that I might've done.

The Dragon riders: What?!

Hiccup: First you having four dragons, then having met a Lycanwing, who is probably as optimistic as you used to be, and now we find out that you have a bounty on your head?!

Snotlout: What did you do to get a bounty, Thyra?

Thyra: ( glanced at Aggie, who was cutely holding Tadpole in her arms ) That's a story for another time when the kid isn't in ear shot.

Aggie: Aw, but why?

Thyra: Too young for that story.

Snotlout: So, Hiccup, what are we going to do with the kid?

Hiccup: ( with a serious expression: ) Aggie will be staying with us from now on.

Thyra and the other riders: ( at the same time due to shock: ) What?!

Aggie: ( excitedly: ) Really?!

Hiccup: ( with a smile: ) Yep, really, Aggie, welcome to the dragon riders.

Astrid: But, Hiccup, none of us know how to even take care of her.

Hiccup: We'll learn. Either way, there's nothing any of you can say to talk me out of my decision unless you want Aggie, the ten year old girl, to go back to Lycanwing Island to live there by herself?

The group was silent, while Thyra looked at Hiccup with an impressed smile as she wasn't expecting Hiccup to actually be able to put his foot down.

Hiccup: Good. Now, let's go back to the base.

( Slight time skip, later that night )

Thyra and her dragons were in the stables, all of her dragons except Blare, were fast asleep while Thyra was leaning against the back wall when Aggie walked in the stables and walked up to Thyra with a smile.

Aggie: ( happily: ) Hi, Thyra!

Thyra: ( to Aggie, with a slight smile: ) Hey, kid. What are you doin' in here?

Aggie: ( grabs Thyra's hand ) I wanted to get you, everyone is eating dinner together at the clubhouse, come on!

Thyra: ( carefully pulled her hand away ) I don't think so, kiddo. It ain't the best idea for me to be joining them. You go on ahead.

Aggie: ( with a frown: ) Why not?

Thyra: It's just not.

Aggie: ( to Thyra, giving her pleading eyes: ) Please...? Pretty, pretty please, Thy-ma?

Thyra was surprised by hearing Aggie's nickname for her, then she and Blare looked at each other before Thyra let's out a sigh in defeat as neither she or the female night fury could say no to Aggie.

( A few minutes later )

Aggie walked back in the clubhouse, too much to all the Dragon riders' surprise, with Thyra and Blare. Toothless smiled happily as soon he saw Blare walk into the clubhouse.

Thyra: ( to the Dragon riders with a serious expression: ) If any of you make this into a big deal, I'm walking out.

Thyra then sat down next to Aggie, who was sitting between Hiccup and Thyra, as the other riders went back to their conversations with each other. Thyra saw that Hiccup was glancing at her with a relieved smile on his face, and she just playfully rolled her eyes at him before looking away from him. Blare then laid down beside Thyra, and Toothless then tried to get closer to the female night fury by bringing her a fish, Blare looked at him hesitantly as he dropped the fish and nudged it towards her, before she ate the fish and purred at Toothless, who looked at her with a smile.

After awhile, Thyra walked outside and leaned against the wall to get some fresh air while Aggie and Blare stayed inside. The voices in her head were beginning to fill her head, but they quickly disappear when Thyra heard Hiccup's voice behind her.

Hiccup: ( to Thyra, nervously: ) Crazy day, huh?

Thyra: ( looks at Hiccup ) Crazy? No, today was a whole other level. Trust the unhinged girl.

Hiccup: ( to Thyra, as he stood beside her, a bit playfully: ) You're only slightly unhinged, remember?

Thyra: ( rolls her eyes ) ( honestly: ) It doesn't feel that way sometimes.

There was an awkward silence between the two for a few seconds before Thyra broke the silence.

Thyra: So... How are things with you and Astrid doing?

Hiccup: We, uh... We broke up about a year ago.

Thyra: Oh. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to...

Hiccup: It's okay. We agreed that we were better off as friends. How about you? Anyone special?

Thyra: Not really. It's kinda hard for a gal like me to find someone to fully trust. ( jokingly: ) Unless you expect me to start seeing Dagur or worse, Snotlout?

Hiccup: ( chuckles ) Gods, no. You've got to have better taste than those two, one's deranged and one's, well, Snotlout. Think about Aggie's sake, I beg you.

Thyra laughed a little bit with a calm smile in response as she began looking at the stars while Hiccup was looking at her with a smile as they continued to talk.

Thyra: Yeah... She's one special kid, minus her bein' a Lycanwing.

Hiccup: Yeah, I can tell. I can also tell she is really attached to you.

Thyra: ( sighs with a sad expression ) Yeah... You know, it wasn't easy for me to leave her there, but... She's better off with someone more than me in her life.

Hiccup: ( grabs Thyra's hand ) Hey...

Thyra looks at Hiccup with confusion and surprise as he gave her a serious look.

Hiccup: She isn't just going to have you in her life anymore, she has all of us in her life. Just like you have us now.

Thyra blushed slightly at Hiccup's words before she pulled her hand away.

Thyra: I-I'm going back to the stables for the night. Do me a favor and don't keep Aggie and Blare up all night. See ya in the morning, Hiccup.

Thyra then walked away and back to the stables as Hiccup lets out a sigh of defeat as he watched her walk away. Hiccup was then startled when he saw Tadpole standing beside him, Tadpole just licked his eye in response. Hiccup then sighed once again before he picked up the small dragon and gave him a few head pets.

Hiccup: What am I going to do, little guy? She seems so far away even when she's standing right next to me...

Tadpole just licked his eye in response, making Hiccup chuckle before he walked back inside the clubhouse with Tadpole in his arms.
