"How do we find the gods? Plus I thought they all died in the last Ragnorok." Astrid said. They were still walking down the streets of Boston. But now with Subway sandwiches.

"In some myths. But Magnus and Sam are examples of the fact the gods are alive. So we find them learn who blessed you two, earn cool powers if you don't them already. And then we go to New Rome." Andrea said. She was an expert on everything Norse. Astrid smelt a watery nothingness type of smell. She stuffed the last of her sandwich in her mouth and followed it.

"Where you going?" Natasha questioned. Astrid swallowed.

"Getting us our god." Astrid quickened to a jog. She turned a corner and saw a small shop.

A fashion shop.

She walked in. A man stood on a pedestal as a employee pined pieces of fabric together.

"There's our God. And dwarf." Astrid pointed. The two stopped. Andrea looked.

"A dark elf. His names Blitz." Andrea said. "And that's Màni. God of the moon."

Màni stopped. He had silver hair and wore a simple pair of jeans, with a grey tinge. His jacket was blue. Moonish colours.

"How did you find me Hati?" Màni said.

"Astrid found you from your scent." Andrea said.

"By my wonderful moony scent?" He asked. Blitz just stood still watching.

"If you mean your butt. No. You smell like a watery nothingness mixed with heavy cheap cologne." Astrid said. The cheap cologne made her want to sneeze.

"I don't wear cheap cologne." Màni said. He crossed his arms. "I was going to give you the powers I promised I would. I made that promise when you were born, Astrid Canis."

"Wait, you're supposed to bless me?" Astrid said. She was shocked. She didn't think it would be that easy.

"Well you hurt my feelings. So...." Màni drifted off.

"I'll give you twenty bucks Canadian." Astrid bribed. She pulled the green bill out of her pocket. He snatched it up and then pressed a finger against her forehead. Silver light pulsed into her head. She started to black out. Her side burned. He pulled his finger away.

"And your done. Now you will be stronger at night. And can moon travel. It's like shadow travelling but you can only travel in the moon light." Màni sounded proud. Astrid groaned and nodded. Her side burned horribly. Her legs gave out.

"Catch her!" Natasha yelled and jumped forward.

Everything went black.

Astrid opened her eyes. Light shines in them causing her to squint.

"How you feeling?" Natasha asked.

"Everything hurts." Astrid said. Fez tilted his head and stuck out his tongue. Astrid reached out and scratched behind his ear.

"We didn't catch you." Andrea added that happy note.

"Thanks." Astrid sat up. Her side was cool. Màni stood there.

"I just want to tell Natasha that the god who was supposed to bless you was killed by dwarfs. He was Kvasir. God of inspiration. But he managed to bless you. That's were you got your gloves from. Anyway. Gotta go. The world needs a moon." Máni disappeared.

"He got ripped off. The Canadian dollar is worth less than the American dollar." Astrid laughed from her spot on the floor. She got up.

As they walked out of the store Andrea snapped her fingers. Blitzen wouldn't remember this meeting.
