Chapter Four
They landed in an alley where Natasha collapsed.
"I don't know how Nico did it." She groaned.
"Well Nico almost turned into a shadow." Andrea added just to lighten the mood. Astrid pulled her violin case out of the drift pushing through the slight stab of pain in her side. She propped Natasha's head on it.
"We'll wait here until Natasha is okay." Astrid said and sat down. Fez grunted in agreement. Andrea stretched her arms.
"I'll go find the temple." Andrea said.
"Somebody your age would raise suspicion being alone." Astrid said. Andrea smirked.
"That's where my dads family comes in." Andrea smiled. Black smoke curled off her sides as her features shrank. She flew away in the form of a crow, smoke still curling off.
"Is she-" Natasha started.
"Daughter of Loki. The trickster god and shape shifter. Matches her role well." Astrid said. Natasha leaned her head back and closed her eyes.

Andrea's POV
She was flying. Wind ruffled through her feathers.
It was absolutely terrifying.
She landed on the telephone wire and let out a screech as she almost fell backwards. Nobody looked up. Her black eyes picked up shiny objects easily. She saw the temple. She took off and flew towards it.
As she got close she landed behind a pillar and changes into a mouse in a puff of black smoke.
She was Andrea Coal, daughter of Loki and a magician. Blessed by Hermes. Overall. She was a girl full of tricks. She was quieter because the world wasn't ready to hear what she had to say.
As she ran to the entrance she was careful not to be noticed. Or stepped on. She walked along the walls looking for a hidden door. She could see past any disguise. Then she saw it. It looked like the rest of the wall. But there was drag marks and drift was layered heavily around the outside of the door.
They would need to come back later at night. When there weren't any tourists and they would only need to worry about security guards. Andrea turned and ran back.
--------
Astrid's POV
Astrid, Natasha, and Andrea shadow traveled to the bathroom. And Fez jumped out from under the toilet. They carefully made there way out. They poked their heads around the corner.
Empty.
They ran across on the balls of their feet to stay as quiet as possible. They came to the door. Astrid grimaced on how much noise it would make. She pressed a brick and the wall swung out. It created as much noise as possible. Astrid cringed since her ears picked up the sound ever so much more. They ran in and closed the door. Astrid pulled her Hepsteapus secure iPod and turned on the flashlight. She pointed it down the long staircase leaned forward down. As they walked further down she marvelled at how blind the mortals were.
Or how strong the drift is.
The came out to a lighted room. A sign said the doctor was free. Astrid turned off her flashlight and put it in her pocket. A large bronze statue of a neat freak goddess stood judging them.
"Do you have fresh underwear on?" It asked.
"Excuse me?" Natasha exclaimed.
"Do you have fresh underwear on? It is good for your health to change it every day." It said and stepped off the pedestal.
"Yes! We do!" Natasha squeaked. Astrid quickly pulled her sword out of the drift, ignoring the stabbing pain in her side. Fez barked and grew to full size.
"Shedding fur can be bad for your health." The statue said as it advanced.
"Who you talking to? The dog or me?" Astrid questioned and ran at the wall. She desperately hoped it would work and she wouldn't be on Olympus News Now. Astrid Canis runs into wall.
Yup. Average day in the land of the demigod.
She used her momentum to run up the wall and jump backwards. She did a back flip and landed on the shoulders of the bronze statue. She wrapped her legs around the neck, securing herself in place. Still glad she didn't run into the wall. Then she leaned back and grabbed Natasha's hand to help her up. Natasha opened a panel and started playing with high voltage wires. Astrid slipped and fell not so gracefully. The statue tried to step on her. Fez clamped onto the other legs and tried to fling it around like a frisbee.
"Stepping on people isn't sanitary!" Astrid yelled and rolled out of the way.
"Scrub between your fingers when you wash you hands!" It said. Then fell still.
"I am clean." Astrid said and straightened her shirt. She picked up her sword and walked over to the door. She tired the knob.
Locked.
So she did the next best thing.
Kicked down the door.
Apparently she had a large rush of adrenaline. But now it was fading fast and being replaced by pain. She put her sword in the drift and placed her hands on her knees to catch her breath. Fez trotted in with a plate of celestial bronze in his mouth. Natasha jumped off the statue and came in. Andrea a little more slowly. A man came out from around the corner. Then looked them up and down.
"You could have just knocked."
