Happy Thanksgiving
"What does the turkey say, Kyleigh?" Nicki asked her two-year-old. She had inherited her mom's hair and dimples, but her father's skin tone, and Chinese-like eyes. No doubt about it, she did have both of their smiles.
"Gobble-gobble," she replied, bouncing up and down. They were on the carpeted floor of Nicki and Drake's Las Palmas de Gran Canaria mansion, waiting for Drake to come down so that they could have Thanksgiving dinner. Drake and Nicki's family couldn't come because of how far they were from America. Also, their mothers had a fear of riding in airplanes, but their fathers thought it was just crazy. Soft music was playing, and the t.v displayed of the infamous show, 'Teletubbies,' but Kyleigh called them 'Tubby-tubbies.' Kyleigh would get fussy if she hadn't seen her father, so Nicki tried to keep her distracted as possible. She was the true definition of 'Daddy's Little Girl.' Nicki then saw her husband creep behind Ky to surprise her.
How did I not hear him come down the stairs?
He had his pointer finger up 'to his plump lips, signalizing her to keep quiet. Nicki smirked, but didn't want to give Drake away. Kyleigh looked into her mother's gaze, deciding to turn around to see what was to be seen. When Nicki looked down to see Kyleigh, she saw her in the action of turning her head. Just as she was about to swing her head, Nicki got a grip on her, holding her daughter's head in place. Kyleigh squirmed and squirmed, but to no use. Nicki had to distract.
"Ky, what does the turkey say?" She turned her head loose. She smiled wide, about to answer.
"Gobble-go-ahh!" She squealed as Drake picked her up from behind. Nicki sat on her legs, giggling. Drake made noises of a plane as he moved her around and about. Kyleigh squealed and screamed, obviously enjoying the game. When Drake thought she'd had enough, he stopped, placing her on his hip. Nicki stood.
"Hey, my little Squirt," he said, cooing at her. She placed a chubby hand in her mouth, ignoring him, and turning towards the matriarch. There were very few words that she knew, so she basically just ignored whenever she couldn't answer. "Oh, ignoring Daddy, huh? I see how you do," he said.
"Babe, I don't know where you've been for two years, but she can barely talk," Nicki said. He just chuckled. Kyleigh took her hand out of her mouth, making Nicki giggle seeing how it was drenched with saliva.
"I know, Nika. I just love to joke with my daughter once in a while," he said. She playfully rolled her eyes.
"If she could reply back, I'm sure she'd have some words fo-"
"Mama...mmm," Kyleigh said as she strained to reach for Nicki. She was stuck in Drake's grasp, getting very whiny.
"Awww, Mama's baby," she cooed with a pout on her face as she got her from Drake. Yes, she was a sucker for her dad, but she loved being with Nicki more. "I guess she's got a new favorite, huh?" She said as they walked into the kitchen. Nicki sat Kyleigh into her custom-made pink highchair with her name drenched in diamonds. When she was settled in, Nicki sat in the chocolate-colored wooden chair.
"Shush. Before it's all over, she'll be crawling back to Daddy...literally." This was true, because Kyleigh couldn't walk just yet. She stumbled and teetered every time she tried, but she was making progress. Drake put the food on the large table. It consisted of turkey, mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, and kosher chicken. He had started putting different meats on a plate to give to Nicki. She got her knife to cut the turkey and chicken into little pieces so that Kyleigh could eat it better. She knew Ky hated eating her vegetables, so she just gave her meat. She'd made sure to sit close to Kyleigh so that she could feed her. She placed the meat on the tray, a mistake she instantly regretted. Kyleigh immediately grabbed at the meat, putting it everywhere. It was literally putty in her hands, and she was getting it all over the high chair. Nicki sighed, but chuckled as Drake got the troublemaker out of her highchair.
"You're supposed to put it in your mouth, Mama. I don't know if you're trying to feed yourself, or your chair," she said as the patriarch gave her to Nicki, cleaning off the high chair with a wet rag. Nicki blew in Ky's cheeks, making her giggle. She then kissed her cheek, giving her back to Drake to be placed back in the highchair. Drake sat back down in his seat once he saw his two favorite girls in the world, next to his mother, settled in their seats.
"Now, let's do this again," he said, having a smile as big as the sun.

Once the whole family was fed and tired, Drake and Nicki were on the couch, spooning away. Kyleigh was sleeping off her turkey in her pink crib, which of course, Nicki bought months before she knew she was even pregnant with her. As Drake was on top of Nicki, they soon heard whining coming from the baby monitor. He stopped kissing her, crawling off of her.
"Aww, what's wrong with Mama's little Dumpling?" Nicki said as they made their way off the couch, and up the stairs. They got to Kyleigh's enormous door that belonged to her ginormous room. Nicki opened it, and they stepped inside. Drake closed the door behind them, walking up to the crib with Nicki. As they looked down into the crib, they saw their little baby girl on her stomach, slightly tossing and turning.
Nicki reached down into her crib to rub her back. She then picked her up, walking over to the rocking chair next to the giant bookshelf, stocked with baby books from Granny and Grandpa Graham. Kyleigh was already in her pajamas, pulling and scratching on them. Drake grabbed one of her tea party chairs, sitting next to Nicki. Surprisingly, the chair was almost six feet. Big chair for such a small child. Kyleigh then woke up to the movement of rocking, which was only Nicki. She was slowly rocking back and forth in the rocking chair. When she saw her mother, she started to cry.
"Don't cry, baby girl," Drake said as he looked from her to Nicki. What was wrong?
"Baby, look at me," she obeyed. "What's wrong?" She asked. Kyleigh stopped her crying for a moment, then patted her hands on her stomach. She then buried her head in her mom's chest, whining, moaning, and groaning. Nicki rubbed her back again. "Aww, Mama knows. She knows you're hurting," Nicki said. She handed her to Drake, but with much trouble. She was gripping onto Nicki shirt, whining. Finally, she let her daddy get her.
"She maybe ate too fast, or ate too much," Drake said. Nicki nodded, going to their bathroom for the medicine cabinet. She came back with infant ibuprofen. There was only one bad thing, it was bubblegum flavored;Kyleigh's least favorite. She had a small medicine cup with a small amount, due to her age.
"Alright, Snookums, Mama's gonna give you something to help with your stomach. You won't like it, but it will help," she said to her daughter. She turned out of Drake's chest, looking at the medicine. She shook her head, slightly turning it. "C'mon, Mama," she pleaded. Kyleigh still refused. Nicki sighed in defeat. "Fine," she said. Kyleigh then leaned back into Drake's chest, eyes closed. Nicki then silently gasped, getting an idea. While the baby's eyes were closed, Nicki took this chance to make her take it. She slowly put the cup to her lips, in case she opened her eyes.
She then tilted the cup, getting it into her mouth. Kyleigh's eyes opened, and Nicki moved the cup. She was about to spit it out, but Drake acted fast. He put his hand over his mouth, causing Ky to twist and turn her head. She struggled and struggled until he took his hand off her mouth. Nicki was smiling as Drake was kissing Ky's cheeks. She had a pout on her face, making Nicki chuckle.
"Don't look at me like that. Now, is it gone?" She asked. She still had a pout on her face. "Say 'ahh,'" she coaxed. Being only two, she fell for it, opening her mouth. It was indeed gone, making Nicki smile harder. Kyleigh then began to rub her stomach, indicating that it was still hurting.
"Ready to go back to bed?" Drake asked. She shook her head. "You're going to, anyway," he said as he got up, walking to her crib. He laid her back in, causing her to stand right back up. Nicki was in front of Kyleigh, rubbing her hair.
"What's wrong now, Baby Graham?"Nicki said. Kyleigh was now talking gibberish, thinking her parents understood her. Nicki did understand one word, and that was 'stay.'
"Stay," Kyleigh spoke again. Nicki and Drake both smiled at each other, then looked back at her. They then decided to stay, but only until she fell asleep. It didn't take long for her to go to sleep. When they saw she was, they then left after kissing her forehead.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Hello, my wondrous readers. I decided to release my Thanksgiving oneshot at 7:50 for some strange reason. I hope you enjoyed this, and love you all.
To be honest, I think Nic had adorable nicknames for Kyleigh. My favorite is 'Baby Graham.'
