The School day is now over. Many of the students had already left but, the rest are either busy leaving or will in a moment. The school is more quiet unlike the morning. Poppy skips through the halls happily and excited with a special invitation sticking out of her hair slightly as the Snack Pack follows her. There is big smile on the party girl's face.

" Today could be the day...", Poppy says cheerfully and hopeful.

Bridget,Gristle and The Snack Pack had handed out all of the invitations. All but,one certain invitation... Branch kept on slipping out of Poppy's sight every time she tried to talk to him today but, she has a feeling he won't escape so easily next time.

At Branch's locker,Branch is busy taking out his books and homework in the empty hall. Jack and Hiccup had already went home. Branch was held by one of his teachers because,he was "small enough to fit" under his desk to "grab his ring" that he accidentally dropped. Out of every troll he was one who didn't leave quick enough so he got ring grab duty. At least the teacher was nice enough to take note of the task done and politely thank him like a person.

Branch puts his books one by one in his school bag. Then just as he zips his bag closed Poppy sees him. Her smile becomes bigger as stands watching from the side of the hall. Her smile then becomes smaller and more simple as a thought comes into her mind.

'Make Branch Happy Time. ',Poppy thought with determination.

Branch is completely unaware of Poppy as she starts walking to him. He slowly closes his locker and locks it as his mind focuses on something else. The locker makes a small sound as it closes. Then when Branch turns around while grabbing his back he is greeted a certain pink troll. He looks at her blankly and not surprised.

" Hey Branch. Have any plans tonight? Cause I'm inviting you to my "First School Day Party"! What do you say,Branch?", Poppy says excitedly.

Poppy lifts the invitation in front of Branch. It unfolds itself revealing a little Branch at a party scene dancing with some little references referring to their current school. There is glitter making the invitation sparkly. Branch just blinks as the Snack Pack stands behind Poppy waiting for something to happen.

" No and Good Bye. ", Branch says bluntly.

Then before Poppy could literally do anything Branch immediately walks away. He hates parties but,Poppy always insists he comes to her stupid parties. Why would he want celebrate today? It isn't that different from the other school days he experiences.

Poppy is now shock and wide eye by the quick rejection! She runs after him and gets right in front of him before he reaches the exit. She isn't going let him leave that easily! The Snack Pack watches the two polar opposites as if it was some kind of movie.

" But, Branch! It'll be fun and your friends, the Pack,will be there and this will be your chance to make friends who aren't trolls. ", Poppy says trying to convince him.

Poppy doesn't know that Branch actually does have friends that aren't trolls but, he isn't friends with the Snack Pack. Their her friends! Not his! How many times must he tell her that? Branch gives her an annoyed look on his face.

" Nah! Nah! Nah! Their your friends. And I'm not going!", Branch says honestly and annoyed.

Branch points his finger at her when he says that the Snack Pack are her friends. Poppy decides to try a new  strategy since Branch hadn't destroyed the invitation yet. Sometimes Branch would break them in front of her as or after or before he rejects which did hurt always hurt her but, then after a moment or a while of being hurt she grows more determined since she knows that his true colours are in him that he's hiding from the world. Poppy knows Branch in a way nobody most don't.

" Before you decide to break how about you just take your invitation and take a extra moment to think about party right now? I won't leave you alone or let leave til you take it. ", Poppy says hopeful and softly then playfully serious.

Branch just groans unhappily after a moment of looking at Poppy's beautiful face. He knows for a fact she won't leave him alone! He unhappily takes the invitation from her while saying nothing. The grey shoves it in his hair annoyed like it was something he didn't want. He rethink for an extra moment coming to the same result as earlier. Poppy just smiles at him hoping he changed his mind.

" So are going to go?", Poppy asks cutely.

The cuteness almost breaks Branch but, it wasn't cute enough to break him at this moment. He still has a blank look on his face. Poppy isn't going see him tonight as much as she hopes.

" Still no. Now move and Good Bye!", Branch says a little rudely.

A frown appears on Poppy's face. Branch didn't want to be rude to her but, yet he refused to let her therefore she receives the front he puts up. The pink troll step aside feeling like she failed again.

" Maybe later if you reconsider you'll come?", Poppy asks disappointed but,still hopeful.

Branch just shakes his head and walks away. If only she knew why I hates parties... Poppy watches him leave wondering what she is doing wrong in attempt to reach Branch but, a small smile appears on her face as she remembers that he did take the invitation. That's something at least.

" Bye Branch!", Poppy calls out.

" Poppy? Are you okay?", Biggie asks.

Biggie's voice is coming from behind Poppy so she turns around to see the Snack Pack. They are now standing in front of her. She smiles at them nodding her head which confused them a little. Branch had just rejected her so why is she happy?

" Yes cause I'm one baby step closer to making him my friend and happy. He actually took the invitation!",Poppy replies cheerful and happily.

Little did Poppy know that this isn't the first time Branch took her invitation but, how could she know? The Snack Pack are unsure what to say. Poppy smiles happily at the thought that Branch has her invitation. She hopes now more that him having it will somehow change his mind.

" But, he is still not going to come...", DJ points out.

" But he might change his mind. Now come on! We have to get home, get homework done quickly then get ready for the party!",Poppy says hopefull then happily and determined.
