I was working on my battle scenes so...maybe a warning for violence and mentions of bad language but no actual bad language.

  "Why does this always happen to me!" Jay yelped as he hurried to keep up with Cole.

  "Maybe that's just it. You're a bad luck charm. I never get this excitement when I'm with Zane." Cole grumbled, his thighs were burning as he glanced back at the horde of agents stampeding behind him. They sprinted quickly into the elevator. Jay jabbed the button repeatedly as the crowd follow, dangerous gazes dead set on the two ninja.

  "Come on, come on!" Jay said anxiously, his thumb bruising from its impact on the door close button.

  At last it shut and the two breathed a sigh of relief. The elevator made its way up and they slumped against the wall as the classical elevator music filled the air. It stopped at a floor, the doors dinging open. They jumped when they realized two agents were waiting for them.

  "Oh no." Jay went for the button but the agents surged forward. Jay barely dodged well placed moves, bouncing around clumsily as he tried to remember his training.

  Cole grunted and threw the agent over his shoulder, slamming his head back into the walls of the elevator. Jay tried to do the same but only managed to smack his face into the wall. The agent staggered back and spun around to attack again when Jay punched him frantically. The agent groaned, bleeding from his nose but righted himself once again unsteadily.

  "Fall asleep!" Jay punched him repeatedly as his anxiety got the better of him.

  Cole finally gave a quick blow to the temple and he was out.

  "I had that!" Jay snapped hotly.

  Cole gave him a incredulous look but he didn't have time to retort when the doors opened again. They could hear the sounds of footsteps in the halls and they exited the elevator, sending it up in hopes it would cause them to follow. Cole and Jay crept quickly down the hall, glancing around and listening for agents. Suddenly Jay felt something grab the back of his gi and yank him up. He yelled but a hand slapped over his mouth as he was dragged into the air vents. Cole got similar treatment but Cole promptly licked the hand, making the captor recoil.

  "Dude." Kai whispered in a disgusted voice.

  "Don't scare us like that!" Jay hissed when he realized the person holding him was Zane.

  "My apologies. You were leading the agents straight to Nya and Lloyd, we needed to get you out quickly." Zane said reasonably.

  "Yeah....well...the elevator wasn't working!" Jay struggled for an excuse.

  "My scan says otherwise."

  Kai groaned and began crawling through the vent. "This isn't important. We need to meet up with Nya and Lloyd in the main computer room."

  Jay continued grumbling undecipherable words under his breath but followed the fire ninja as he crept through the vents. Zane's eyes glowed, making beams of light bounce over the ducts as the clambered around. The only sounds were the creaking of the metal, the whisper of their breathing, and the occasional curse from Kai when he found something sharp.

  "We're here." Zane announced.

  The Nindroid waited a few beats before signalling Kai. The fire ninja raised his right hand, pointing his index finger and his middle finger, flames lit over the digits and he drew a box into the metal, cutting through it. The square fell with a twang and the ninja dropped down. They were met with Lloyd and Nya, both in defensive positions but they dropped them when they recognized their friends.

  "Everyone good?" Lloyd checked.

  "Going smoothly." Zane replied.

  "Smoothly?" Kai snorted. "Do you know how much we had to clean up after Cole and Jay back there? I think we stuffed a dozen agents in a supply closet!"

  "Not important." Lloyd dragged them back to the mission. "Nya, find the main computer and get Zane synced up. Jay, keep the power going. They're going to try and kill it when they find out we're here. Cole, Kai- you're guarding the door. Don't let any agents through if they open the door before I can seal it."

  The team nodded and quickly took off. Lloyd headed straight for the panel beside the door and tried his very best to figure out how to lock it. Nya fell into the rolling chair gracefully and her fingers flew across the screen as Zane attached the plug to himself. Cole and Kai readied their weapons as the chaos began.

  True to Lloyd's word, the power cut out but Jay quickly blasted electricity through the wires and Nya restarted her progress. Lloyd struggled to get pass the codes, he was never as good at it as Nya. Before he could lock the door the agents had unlocked it, security had joined them and as the automatic doors opened. Lloyd forgot the door when a woman attacked him, using modern fighting techniques as she battled. Lloyd was more trained in the ancient fighting styles his uncle taught him but he could hold his own perfectly, blending the modern technique and his own traditional style together as he parried blows and managed to drive her back.

  Cole and Kai fought together, exchanging quips as they used the moves they practiced. "Hey Cole!" Kai yelled from one side of the room as he picked up a young security officer. "Hot potato!"

  Cole yelled as Kai literally threw him at him. Cole managed to clumsily catch the body before grabbing the person by his feet and flinging him at a group of agents charging at him.

  Nya finished quickly, letting Zane do the rest as she and Jay entered the fight. The two linked arms, back to back, and Jay leaned forward, spinning Nya around as she kicked the attackers surrounding them. Jay tossed her easily over his shoulder and Nya flipped, blocking a blow and judo flipping the agent.

  "Completed." Zane announced.

  "Alright, play times over!" Lloyd used the sarcastic code Kai had made. "Let's stop going easy on them."

  Zane slammed his fists to the ground, ice coating the floor and the security and agents slid across the floor as the slippery surface rolled easily under their shoes. The ninja had practiced battles on ice before so Kai had no problem spinning in the air and shooting fire. He pressed his palms to the ground as he landed, melting the area so he could land a good kick. Cole used his earth punch to slam a woman into Nya who knocked her out quickly with a blast of water. The team made their way out of the room, sirens blazing and red light glaring from every corner.

  "Did Pixal get through the gate security?" Lloyd asked.

  Zane pressed his finger to his comm. "Pixal? Report?"

  "Almost finished." Their was a grunt as the sound of impact erupted. "Gate has been covered, I'm calling the bounty in now."

  Lloyd's face was determined as he ran, glancing at his teammates. "Make sure Zane gets there, surround him and stall the agents. They'll know he has the information."

  "I'm in the process of sending it to the Bounty just in case." Zane told him. "But it will take awhile."

  "We'll get him time!" Nya yelled as she launched herself at the next opponent. Kicking him hard in the jaw.

  Lloyd surveyed the security. The had been lucky so far but it was getting tight. His eyes fixed on a large window. "Pix, can you get the bounty to the third west window on the thirty-eighth floor?"

  "Affirmative. On my way."

  Lloyd punched his way through the attackers, ignoring the pain in his head from where he had been hit. He glanced back at his teammates and saw they were in rough shape, their movements getting slower. Lloyd's hands lit with green energy and he spun in a circle, creating a powerful arc of energy that knocked everyone back as he made it to the window.

  "Zane!" Lloyd called.

  The master of ice sped forward, seeing his plan and pressed his hands to the glass. It froze over and with a grunt he increased the temperature. Eventually it shattered, the glass falling into splinters. Lloyd yelped as it cut into his hand.

  "Guys, Kai's in bad condition, we need to go now!" Nya yelled.

  "I'm fine! I can take as many as you need!" Lloyd frowned at the slur in his voice, glancing at the fire ninja to see him staggering around, a huge bruise on his temple.

  "Sure you can, buddy." Cole said sarcastically, knocking away a soldier as he supported Kai.

  Lloyd heard the sounds of engines as the bounty drew in. Pixal's samurai mech batted away shots coming from planes that had come in.

  "Zane, Kai, get in now!" Lloyd ordered. Kai tried to protest but Cole hoisted him up.

  "Hot potato!" Cole called cheerfully as he tossed him onto the deck.

  Lloyd waved everyone in, going last as he fended off the agents. He jumped onto the edge of the bounty but a yell caught his attention. A security agent had tried to jump the distance of the Bounty as it pulled out and he has just missed. Lloyd felt his heart hammer in his chest as the man fell and before he knew it he had jumped.

  He could hear Kai cursing at him as he plummeted. Lloyd fell head first, tucking his arms in so he plummeted faster, eyes peeled on the falling agent. His stomach was in his throat but he focused on locking his arms in on the security agent. He saw Pixal coming in quickly and he extended a hand. The mech zoomed under him and he gripped the metal on Pixal's back with his free hand, dragging the agent on with him. The man was shaking and seemed to be hyperventilating. Lloyd wasn't sure what to do so he simply hit him in the head with the hilt of his sword, making him fall unconscious.

  "I believe Kai is calling you unmentionable things in the comm's right now." Pixal said, her helmet glancing at him.

  Lloyd chuckled, taking the comm from his ear and stuffing it in his pocket as they zoomed up to the Bounty.

  "I'm sure he is."
