*whines*
Lol! but I do have a larger than life famille ! I mean we're too big for the universe :D
.................................................
25th December Eve
[Alia's POV]
The whole khandaan came with full force at our annual Christmas Party eve in one of our farmhouse situated in Panvel, Mumbai. It was a common farmhouse hub of noisy-crazy bollywood families and ours being no less and also being the most intelligent among the lot, had a huge mansion in our name.
We surely made for a sarcastic noisy clan.
It was a contemporary yet urban property with acres of green grass surrounding us. My early childhood memories belonged to this place. Of us playing all sorts of outdoor games, taking swimming classes at our posh pool, having my first drink with my uncle's and dad, learning my first dish with aunt's and my mom, doing sisterly things, hopping to rock band with boys and truckloads of other fabulous memories.
Since morning, I had been sitting lazily in my room with a faint smile adorned on my lips, lost in my fantasy land. After that one of a kind amazing night with him and the mind blowing toe curling kiss that we shared, for weeks extended, I could feel the sensation of his lips against mine!
I'm allowed to be normal and do some fantasizing.
I did not disclose much on the events of our first date to the dismay of my family. They mostly found me daydreaming. I couldn't fathom on how soft his lips turned out to be compared to the one's I've kissed before!
Sid was more warmer and gentle with his touch and with so much of love and passionate emotion he crashed his lips to mine, that he made me feel so special and small with his one act.
"Aliaaa ! where the hell is TFIOS situated in your shelf ?" came a shout from downstairs.
That voice belonged to Smiley Suri.
Great!
So, let's introduce you to my noisy fam

"Its there in Shaheen's room waala shelf " I screamed back at her in equal frequency. That's how we roll!
"What do you mean by TFIOS by the way ?"asked Sakshi in a nerdy tone, reading another set of Rom-Com for the third time in a row today, accompanied by her soulmates - Ipod and headset

"Its FAULT IN OUR STARS, babe" cleared Shaheen who came in my room for calling us both downstairs.
"Als, sakshi, you both are called downstairs, urgently. Daddy & Chachu's gang wanna have a session of drink with you. Mumma-Bui & Chachi's want to gossip around with you at poolside. Bhai party want to interrogate about your current BF and so does the sisters squad but both for different reason, you know what I mean ?" she smirked at me.
Meanwhile we both shared an unbelievable look at my sister and her narrative skills.
"We're coming" we stated with a quick jump from my bed and went downstairs.
Spicy kebabs were on frying mode, barbeque on grilling mode, pizzas in their oven mode and all of us in a hungry mode. Servants were running to and fro to cater our needs. It was that part of the year where we as a family united and merried together.
"Cheeeerss!" manly baritones cheered in union. We three reached our drinking bar room where a typical old fashioned retro bar was set up with all sorts of beverages and exotic rums, wines and whiskey's! They were all collected from various parts of the world and kept safely in the shelf.
For our kids who couldn't induge much into sins, had juice cans and soft drinks packed up in our extra large freezers.
"Hey oldie gang, wassup ?!" I asked in announcement of my entry. "Hey my lovely niece, our 80's ki aunty! We're rocking the show" joked Mukesh chachu to counterpart my insult on them of being old. He sounded like a goan uncle.
Laughter roared in the room and my girls joined them in amusement, leaving me alone. "Yeah, whatever. Try as much as you can to sympathise your heart on your growing age, poor chachu!" I winked.
"Hey lady, your father is an old man himself." stated Robin chachu with a grin like it was the biggest fact of the universe. "Yeah, but he's my cutest old man, right daddy ?" I went up and hugged him from back earning aww's from others.
My dad's eyes twinkled with happiness and I gave him a warm kiss on forehead.
Superman, for sure.
"Not fair! You guys are having it all without me ?" I faked anger with a heart melting pout. Seeing that it worked, I took shots of Scottish whiskey for myself and served some to sakshi and shaheen.
"C'mon Oldies and Newbies! Let's rock the houseee" We all toasted our glass in air with loud cheer and whistles, along with a throaty laugh at each consecutive sip.
Half An Hour later...
"Buiiii" We all simultaneously snapped our heads at the door. Little Ayan, my nephew, stood panting at the door front , thanking his wild run in this huge mansion. "Kya hua Ayu ?" I asked my baby boy. He certainly had gotten a thing of cuteness + handsome features from his dad Emraan Hashmi

"Badi maasi and her coolest gang are calling for you"
I mentally smirked at the way he mentioned them as the coolest gang. They must have blackmailed the poor thing for chocolates!
"Oh really ? Then go and tell your so called coolest gang that here in Bhatt town, our sensational pack are ready to take on the world" announced Sanjay chachu with pride. Cheers approved his say.
"Too much boozed and yet dreaming of taking over the world" whispered sakshi with a grin.
Poor Ayu got so confused between his paternal uncle's and aunt's that he ran away from the spot.
Kitchen Bar Scene
My nostrils cheated my inner strength and thus I landed in front of a bar with table full of fried non-veg items meant for the Gala Diner tonight.
"Where's the famous in-house turkey ?" I asked as I couldn't imagine our christmas dinner without my mom's special internationally acclaimed turkey (a full meat-spices filled serve) "Its in the oven" answered Nita bui, Mohit and Smiley's mom.
"So what's happening in Mumbai these days ?" I asked while munching on the fried snacks. "Its breezy these days. Your anu aunty (akansha's mom) and I have rescheduled our buddy meeting times as we realized that our kids, who are extra busy these days owing to their professions, need our attention more" said my mom in a dramatic way.
Way to go, mum.
"Does that has any kind of side effect on our weekend party plans with akku and my friends, dear mommy ?" I asked with slight concern. "Off course, baba! If we could compromise in our women meetings, you can do that too. BINGO!" Hi5-ied mom drastically with an over rated smile.
"Can we borrow our family's superstar Alia madam, for a minute ladies ?" boomed another voice from behind for the umpteenth time today. We saw a smirking fool Vishesh
#CousinNo4
He stood near the kitchen bar in a not so amusing fake SRK pose. "Urghh! why can't anyone let me stay rooted at a place in peace ?" Before I could retaliate, he pulled me by hands to our Brother's hub situated underground.
NOTE : I know that this chapter sucks like anything! For folks getting impatient on ongoing romance sequence to be displayed, I need my character roots to be strong. Therefore I want to show the kind of relation they both share with their respective families. Don't worry, I would also show both of them interacting well with each other's families too! We have a huge journey ahead lovelies, so have take a chill pill!
Atleast I can guarantee you that this book, since its my 1st baby, is gonna have the best chapters ahead and an even better ending ;)
Love,
Jemi :)
