On twitter, some so-called Sidian fans #BornByDefault blamed Alia for BBD failure and the reason was simply cause she didn't tweeted him luck!

Sid and Alia are better without you exaggerated so-called fan dumbos! I pity poor siddy n aloo cause they got some awful fans.

(Sid's POV)

"Hello, Shakun ?" I answered my call made by Shakun Batra , one of our Dharma director (Ek main hu aur ek tu fame)

"Yeah Sid! I would go straight with what I want to say, no tongue twisting in profession. I want to approach you with my next Dharma flick. It is a dysfunctional family drama with romantic triangle embedded in it...twist bhi!" 

Hmm , sounds great.

"Cool. Would be interesting to do one such pukka drama movie. Well, am I the first one approached or you've finalised the others ?" "Nopes! I've finalised the rest of the cast. You're approached much later" he chuckled at the other end.

"Who are the other actors ?" I asked. "The main character of grandfather is played by Rishi Kapoor saheb. Your parents played by Rajat Kapoor and Ratna Pathak. Your elder brother by Fawad Khan" he said in one ragged breath. "That's a whole lot of biggie wiggie cast. I need to see the final draft of the script myself before any confirmation and also have a look at my schedule and gotta date manage with my PA , I'm still unsure about my nod to this one."

I replied with a sad tone. Really loved the idea though. 

"Oh! It would be really cool if you could make it. Do tell me your decision by the weekend. And ya, screen test is on coming Friday with Fawad and Alia!" 

Ok...huh? wait! 

With fawad and ALIA ? 

What is Alia going to do there ? 

My heart skipped several beats at the mention of her name, as usual.

"What's Alia doing there ?" I asked with much anticipation trying to NOT LOOK MUCH IMPATIENT.

"I didn't told you right ? She is the lead actress paired opposite you and Fawad! She said an immediate yes after the narration by me. So sweet of her to say 'yes' to not a full length role in just the start of her career" he said with beaming pride in his voice.

Alia is in the film! If I said yes, it would be our second film together after SOTY. I damn don't wanna lose this oppurtunity for anything in this world. My heart leaps of joy like a maniac frog. I wanted to jump and dance with jubilation like a kid.

"Well..I just checked my schedule list and going by it, I'm so sure about my entry into your film! Yes shaks! I'm doing this film. I'll be there for the screen test " I said with a content full blown smile. 

My PA gave me a have you gone nuts look which I happily ignored with a more wider smile, enough to rip the corners of my mouth. 

"Woah there , hold your horses bro! Fast and furious you are eh ? Why the sudden change of mind ? Is it because of a certain someone I just mentioned to be paired opposite to you?" 

Mentally preparing myself for the TORTURE SEASON 2 !

"Umm...er .. No! Its just that I managed my dates quite well and plus I'm really into the script. It sounds like a fun treat to me. So, stop your ghatiya wild imagination." 

"Okay, then if you say so. Be there at YRF studios at 9 in the morning this friday. See ya, Bye" and the call got cut.

"Yipeeeee!!!" 

I did a quick monkey jump which caused my PA's mouth to hang open. I winked at her playfully and went to get my refreshing bath. I came out of the bath and took my phone, staring at a particular number for like.... quite a long time!

Should I call her ? 

No! She must be busy. 

But... 

My mind was debating with my heart whether to call her or not. With much effort, I dared to press the green call button of her number. There you go....its ringing.

My heart beats raced along the flow of her ringtone. 

Samjhawan !

Although I personally didn't much loved the song but I lovedt he way Alia was presented in the film. Too angelic for the world.  

 And what was all that shipper hype all about for Varun & Alia ?

VARIA ... like seriously ?

Stupid shippers!

I wondered what name our shipper fans had for us both... (inward squeal)

I'm sure ours is much more classy af!

"Hello..." 

Aah that melodious voice I'll die to hear. I forgot to answer her back, still tranced by her voice.

"Hey sid, you there ?" once again her voice chimed through my phone.

"Um..hey als! Howz you? Busy ? Or should I call you after sometime ?" 

"Woah woah! Wait there malhotra. Take a breathe bro! Chill, I'm not busy. So, tell what makes you take time to call this so undeserving girl in the universe ?" 

My mood turned off due to two reasons :

1). She called me bro! I mean, I know her habit of calling every other person bro, but why me dude ? I sure don't want to be bhaizoned by her! Never in this lifetime..nor in the next!

2). She again was underestimating   herself as a person. That girl needs to be reminded that what gem of a person she is! She is not an undeserving personality but sometimes I feel that I don't deserve this angel.

"You shouldn't have said that! Why do you keep underestimating yourself alia ? Its high time you recognize your charm" I asked with fake anger. "Sorry baba, relax! I won't repeat it, kay ? Now come to the point"  she urges.

Now here starts my durdasha....

"Haan...soo....hows life, again ? I blurted.

How great of me to ask that again.

"Huh ? You called me to ask about my life ?" 

Why is this so hard yaar ? I groaned mentally. 

"Sid ?" her voice ringed in my ears again. 

I gotta tell her now. Too much of drama. Go ahead malhotra! 

You're a punjabi munda and you can't back out. We're meant to win with pride! 

You can so this!
