Within Dareth's Dojo, the ninja were in the middle of training Lloyd, the blond munchkin focusing with a lightbulb held tightly in his grasp. He had been attempting to light it with his lightning, which hadn't happened yet, grunting as Jay passed him.

''Focus, Lloyd. Control the power inside you. When you feel a surge welling up, harness it.'' Jay instructed.

You sat nearby, a bit further away from the others, playing with the lightbulb in your hands as if it were a toy. On. Off. It kept flickering between intervals, making you squint. Remo snored on the floor beside you, none of the noise even waking him up.

''Come on, Lloyd. You can do it.'' Jay encouraged the young to-be saviour.

The lightbulb shattered into pieces, but Lloyd was lucky enough not to get hit in the face with the shards. ''Aargh! Stupid light bulb! You're putting too much pressure on me. Let me have one more try.'' He turned his gaze to the boys, upset.

''Ugh, sorry, Lloyd. That was the last light bulb.'' Kai told him, and you hid the last lightbulb behind your back just as Zane's gaze landed on you. Chuckling nervously, you sent a wink back his way.

A spark of electricity jolted through your fingers and entered the lightbulb, lighting it up. You dropped it on the floor behind you and heard it shatter as the other's heads turned your way.

''Oh, uh, there was some static electricity in that, I don't know if it's safe to touch...'' You weakly attempted to cover up. Zane's head was the first to turn away, and the others followed to refocus. Though, a few whispers came from the group, quickly dissipating thanks to Zane quieting them.

Cole sighed, handing Lloyd a broom. ''Clean up, Lloyd. We'll continue training tomorrow.''

The Green Bean snatched the broom, using it on a punching bag. You grabbed another to help clean up the mess as best as possible while he was busy beating up the punching bag.

Jay exhaled, dismayed. ''What am I doing wrong, Sensei Wu? I can't seem to teach him to control his power.''

While Lloyd attempted to beat up the punching bag with the broom, the broom bounced back and hit him on the head. ''You dare to defy the Green Ninja!?'' Lloyd challenged, pointing at the punching bag once he got back up.

''Patience, Jay. Sometimes, the greatest opponent we face is ourselves, and that's especially true of Lloyd. Remember where he came from. He's the son of Lord Garmadon. It's going to take time for him to embrace the light.'' Sensei Wu reminded Ginja.

The sliding door opened, with Nya standing in a red sequined dress.

''Hey, everyone.'' Nya warmly greeted the group, everyone's heads turning to face her.

''Hey, Nya!'' You and the others greeted her.

Nya turned her eyes to you and Jay. ''Hey, (Y/n)- or Jay, either of you two. Uh, wanna come by the autobody shop later?'' She smiled, holding her hands behind her back.

''Uh, the autobody shop?'' Jay questioned as you got onto your wheelchair.

''Yeah. I got a part-time job. Though, I could fix up the Ultra Sonic Raider in my off time. Maybe if you're not busy, I can show you what I've been working on.'' Her eyes flickered between you two.

''I'm sure I can come.'' You replied while Jay mumbled a response that Nya luckily heard.

Jay spied the letter in Nya's grasp. ''Uh, what you got there?''

''Oh, um, this letter came for Lloyd.'' Nya handed the letter to Wu.

The Old Tea-Obsessed Man inspected it. ''Hmm. It's from Lloyd's old school.'' He observed.

''The Darkley School for Bad Boys?'' Cole questioned, walking up beside you while looking at his sensei.

''Formerly bad boys. Since the last time we were there, they've changed to the Darkley School for Great Children.'' Wu told his students as the rest of them walked over to listen.

''Heh, wait. They've turned good?'' Kai's confused by the school's sudden change in attitude, and you don't blame him.

Wu took another look at the paper. ''Hmm, it says here there's going to be a ceremony.''

''I love ceremonies. That means there's going to be cake.'' Cole gushed.

''Lloyd's change inspired them. Now they've invited Lloyd to give him an honorary degree in excellence.'' Wu turned his gaze to the group.

Lloyd was the complete opposite of excellence at that moment.

He broke the broom, then headbutted the punching bag in his final act of frustration while the others watched.

''Are we sure we're talking about the same Lloyd?'' Kai asked, looking at the green-clothed gremlin.

While the others were gone, you leaned up against a wall with your eyes closed, making it seem like you were taking a short nap, but in reality, you were testing the limits of your hearing.

''...Squeeze in tight. Can everyone hear me? Okay, so let's brainstorm on how to use my Mega Weapon to destroy the ninja. Remember, the weapon can only create, never destroy. And I can only use it once a day, as it drains all of my strength. So, no such thing as a bad idea. Anyone?'' Garmadon questioned his Serpentine followers aboard the Black Bounty.

Chokun raised his scaly hand eagerly. ''What if you made more pirates?''

''Over the side!'' Garmadon ordered.

''No, no. I-I was kidding. Wait. Aah!'' The Constrictai got thrown off the ship, a splash following.

''Anyone else? Don't be shy. No bad ideas.'' Garmadon told them as if he didn't just get someone thrown off.

An eager Venomari raised their hand. ''Oh, what if you recreated the Devourer?''

''Over the side!'' Fourarmadon ordered. There was a yell as another Serpentine got thrown off.

''Instead of things that have already failed to destroy the ninja, how about something new?'' Garmadon asked the waiting crowd.

Chokun raised his hand again, already back on the Bounty. ''Can you create a giant ham sandwich?''

''A poisoned giant ham sandwich?'' Garmadone inquired.

''I would hope not. I'm sssso hungry.'' Chokun answered. He was thrown off board again. ''Aah!''

You stopped listening to open your eyes, making it look like you just woke up. Save for Wu cleaning up the mess of the lightbulbs, the room was empty and bare of the ninja. Maybe someone else needed your company.

''See ya, Wu, I'm going to the animal shelter.'' You told the old man as you wheeled out, with Remo barely waking up on your shoulders, grumbling.

''Be safe.'' Wu nodded to you as you wheeled out.

Though, back on the Black Bounty, Garmadon had brainstormed a way for him to gain victory. He found his answer in an unlikely place. The reflection of himself in the Mega Weapon.

''Wait, that's it!'' Garmadon realised, his reaction prompting questions from the crowd and Mezmo beside him.

''Hm? The giant ham sandwich?'' The Hypnobrai questioned as three other Serpentine perked up, pulling out plates and utensils, staring up at Garmadon in anticipation.

Garmadon booted Mezmo off the ship, the Hypnobrai screaming as he landed in the water. He chuckled. ''Better. No more brainstorming! Gather me any ninja belongings left on their ship!'' Fourarmadon commanded.

The Serpentine rushed below deck to search for the requested belongings. Though one found themselves sidetracked, stumbling into a side bedroom. They all ran back up with the clothes in their grasp, laying them on the deck.

Garmadon's eyes briefly squinted at a fifth set of clothes alongside the others. Nonetheless, he walked down from the cannon level onto the main deck, standing near the pile.

''Ninja, today I wish for you to finally meet your match.'' Garmadon held the Mega Weapon with all four hands, the powerful object meeting his demand as it shook, shining brightly. Aiming it forward, the Weapon lifted the clothes while the Serpentine looked on.

And then, a bright flash of light.

Your grandfather was unpacking a box when you entered, his back turned to you. ''Since there's no one else here, just go hang out with the animals.'' He spoke when you wheeled past him.

Nodding, you proceeded to wheel through the shelter, gazing at its myriad of inhabitants. In one particular spot where a kindle of kittens were given space to play together, each was doing their own thing. Noir lay in the corner, asleep, while the other kittens played away from the black kitten.

Remo faced you briefly, smirking before disappearing, his weight vanishing from your shoulder. Soon after, he reappeared near the kittens, opening his jaws briefly as his fangs glinted thanks to the overhead light.

Your jaw dropped, rushing to get in to stop him before he could do any harm when you slid off your wheelchair and into the enclosed space. ''Remo! Stop!'' You cried out alarmed, the kittens letting riotous mewls escape them, charging forth.

Bundles of soft, mewling fur swarmed you, some squirming while others grasped onto your clothes with their tiny needle-like claws. Amid the kitten chaos, Noir's attention was piqued, padding over before shoving a few fellow kittens aside and settling on your chest whilst purring gently.

Then Remo sneezed. The kittens scattered in all directions at the sudden noise save for Noir and a fiery-orange cat with a blue collar, the latter's cat tag reading Rusty. Rusty turned, heading over to the food bowl where the other kittens were eating. Noir didn't leave his spot.

Remo wore a smug expression on his face.

Ding. A boy with a naturally tan complexion and chestnut brown hair tied into a man-bun with a yellow ribbon stepped in, causing your grandfather to look up from the box he was unpacking.

''Oh, it's Terry!'' Your grandfather called out.

The Bizarro Ninja laughed amongst themselves while walking down the street, aviator shades covering their eyes. Yet, one was missing.

''Oh, ninja. Thank goodness! Can you reunite me with my dear Pebbles?'' An old woman requested, pointing to the aforementioned cat who was stuck in a nearby tree. When they were done, the Bizarro Ninja strutted away, having solved the problem by putting the old woman in the tree with her cat. ''That's not what I had in mind!'' She yelled after them.

Their next move was messing with the traffic lights, causing a major car crash. The group laughed as several cars piled onto one another. Bizarro Zane damaged an ATM, causing money to fly out of the machine rapidly much to the bewilderment of onlookers.

''Ninja, go!'' Bizarro Cole whirled into Spinjitzu, using it to steal poor Nuckal's cotton candy.

''Hey!'' The skeleton shouted, watching him reunite with the other evil copies.

''Remember, we must find the ninja.'' Bizarro Kai reminded his fellow clones.

''Don't forget (Y/n).'' Bizarro Zane informed. Bizarro Jay smirked under his mask.

''Those ninja won't know what hit them.'' Bizarro Jay commented.

Wu was cleaning up the mess of the lightbulbs when the Bizarro Ninja entered the Dojo, the sliding door remaining open with Bizarro Jay staying at the back of the group.

''You're back. So, how was it?'' Wu questioned his pupils, assuming them to be his.

''It was great. We were having so much fun we forgot where we were.'' Bizarro Kai offhandedly answered.

Wu stroked his beard. ''Hmm. I bet Lloyd had a blast.''

''Lloyd? Uh, yeah, sure, yeah. He's still there. He wanted us to tell you he thinks you should go. Like, now.'' Bizarro Kai told him, the Old-Tea-Obsessed Man furrowing his eyebrows in thought, walking closer to Porcupine's ripoff.

''Hmmm...'' Wu stared at Bizarro Kai's shades. ''... interesting.'' His attention was briefly stolen by the other copies foolishly messing with the training equipment. ''Mega Monster Amusement Park is no place for an old man. I'd just slow him down.''

''Mega Monster Amusement Park? Uh, oh, yeah, right. Haha. Huh?'' Bizarro Kai tried playing it off casually, but it came too late as Wu got in a position to fight.

''Lloyd is not at the amusement park. You are not my students.'' Wu spun a broom, facing the enemy's ninja clones.

''And you are not our master.'' Bizarro Kai spat back.

''Ninja, go!'' Bizarro Jay whirled into Spinjitzu, charging forth at Wu but the old man hit him with the broom and into a punching bag. ''Aargh!''

Wu began throwing Dareth's fake trophies at the fake ninja, a few wisps of smoke rising from where they were hit.

''Whatever you are, you all could use a lesson!'' Wu went for a katana hanging on the wall, but Bizarro Zane intercepted by throwing his shurikens and pinning his Sensei with them to the wall.

Bizarro Kai took off his shades to reveal his piercing red eyes to Wu.''Teach us, then. Where are the ninja?''

''He'll never talk.'' Zaptrap's copy replied.

On a nearby table, a phone buzzed, the copies turning to face the source. ''Jay? (Y/n)? Are you back yet? Can't wait to see you at the autobody shop. See you then!''

Bizarro Kai let a smirk grow on his face. ''I think we have the perfect person for the job.'' He told his fellow copies. The Bizarro Ninja then left the room.

Terry was a long-time friend of yours. Though, your time together as friends had their ups and downs (especially with all the countless puns and jokes he made), he had stuck with you through thick and thin.

Leaning against a wall, a ghost of a smirk appeared on his face when you wheeled in, bits of cat fur sticking to the sleeves of your clothes and various tears in the fabric showing your (f/c) shirt underneath.

You brushed off what you could of the cat fur to at least make yourself somewhat presentable upon noticing him. Your friend stood up straight, a small rectangular device attached to his belt briefly showing below the hem of his shirt, similar to an iPod but with a slightly bigger screen.

''You remember that joke?'' Terry questioned, almost instantly visibly cringing at what he said.

You rolled your eyes. ''Oh, I'm sure I do, and the countless others that followed including your name.'' You replied boredly. ''What kind of dinosaur has brown hair? A Terry-dactyl!''

He told that one a lot. Cue the groans from that one time he told it at his birthday party.

Despite this, your friend continued with a chuckle. ''I'm really Terry-able with these puns, they aren't Terry good.''

''Okay, enough of that.'' You puffed. ''We've grown up now.''

Terry dropped back into a chair, now eye level with you. ''You know they say boys don't grow up, they just get bigger.'' His gaze went elsewhere as footsteps echoed from the hallway, your grandfather walking back into the main room of the shelter.

''Haven't you tortured them enough?" Your grandfather questioned, placing a box down that he had been carrying. Terry only laughed.

''Trust me, it's only getting started!'' He joked. His reply was met with an unamused stare from you. ''Okay, okay, I wanted to take a break from preparing for the annual Ninjaball run, that's all.''

''A Ninjaball run?" Remo spoke confusedly, resting on your shoulders as per usual.

Your grandfather didn't seem keen on answering that, while Terry was, albeit unfortunately, he was unable to tell the little snake more about it when your grandfather's shadow fell upon him.

''Did you miss your appointment?" Your grandfather inquired Terry in a low and dangerous voice. Your friend shuddered, shaking his head wildly. The old man's demeanour changed, straightening his posture as a smile appeared on his face. ''Good.''

Thank goodness he wasn't like that to you.

Terry sighed in relief. ''Admittedly, without you, I would probably be in serious trouble... you're like a father to me.'' He stared up at your grandfather, who stiffened at the comment. You could've sworn his eyes flickered your way.

A rumble from an engine came from outside, while the other two resumed talking, you took your cue to leave while you still had the chance, wheeling out as silently as you could, trusting Remo to stay quiet.

The Ultra Sonic Raider sat there on the curb, a group of familiar ninja all hopping out to greet you. There was something different about them though. Paler skin, confident stances, and wearing sunglasses, yet you couldn't help the feeling that one was missing.

Presumably Zane walked up to you, kneeling to meet you at eye level. He gently took your hand to kiss it. ''Mx (Y/n), we've come to ask for your help.'' The other ninja nodded in agreement, with all of their eyes, strangely enough, fixated on you.

You shifted a bit in your wheelchair, uncomfortable with the number of stares pinned on you. ''Why me?" You fumbled out, lifting an eyebrow.

''There are some pesky ninja duplicates we need your assistance with.'' ''Kai'' replied.

You held back a small gasp, looking at the ninja. They wouldn't usually ask this of you, seeing as you were in a wheelchair and didn't know about your powers. What use were you of to them anyway? They had to be the duplicates. Right?

Remo met your knowing look in your eyes with one of his own momentarily. ''Of course, I will help. It's the right thing to do.'' You answered.

'Why'd you accept?! You do know they're not the real ninja!' Morro shouted frustratedly.

'Listen up Morro. I despise being left out on missions but in any other situation, I'd be unable to do anything about it. This is my one chance. And besides, I have no other way to the real ninja. Sound good enough?' You questioned the voice in your head. Morro had no response.

Zane's fake moved to pick you up while Jay's fake grabbed the wheelchair, folding it up. Hopping into the Ultra Sonic Raider, you found yourself sitting with 'Zane'. The vehicle zoomed off while a dismayed Terry rushed out from the shelter, giving up when he reached the curb, clutching the side of his chest.

Bizarro Zane made sure you held onto him tightly as the Ultra Sonic Raider's hooks latched onto the brick wall of Darkley's, rocketing forward and landing on the grass. The vehicle spun around, destroying the gate and the walls.

A cannon was activated, aiming and firing at the already fallen sign, the Bizarro Ninja laughing at it exploding to pieces. The copies then brought you inside, making Bizarro Zane do most of the work, though you did spy Bizarro Kai eyeing you and licking his dry lips.

Bizarro Cole didn't seem to be happy about this, sending glares the Fake Porcupine's way.

The Bizarro Ninja began destroying anything in their path, laughing and letting you join in with them. This fun didn't last long the moment you heard a few small footsteps accompanied by high-pitched voices when a group of kids exited a classroom.

''Someone's coming.'' A young boy with dark grey hair told his classmates. The Bizarro Ninja leapt into the middle of the hallway, making him gasp while you peered from around the corner. ''The ninja escaped! Execute Doomsday formations! To glory! Spitball brigade, step forward. Fire!''

The kids formed lines, each carrying spitball launchers that they fired at the boy's command. Though their attack was counteracted by the Bizarro Ninja using a locker as a shield.

Seeing they hadn't been defeated, the kid kept shouting orders. ''Smoke bomb brigade, step forward. Fire!'' The kids tossed smoke bombs at the fake ninja, clouding their vision. The kids laughed at what they thought to be their victory.

The Bizarro Ninja whirled into Spinjitzu to clear the smoke, Bizarro Jay gesturing for you to be with the group. You wheeled over, sighing when you saw the misfit kids gathered at the opposite end of the hallway.

''Dodgeball brigade. Ready, fire!'' The kids grabbed a ball each, throwing them at the group. A ball headed straight for your face at high speed. Unable to meet your possible fate with open eyes you clenched them shut. Instead, something roughly landed in your outstretched hand.

Slowly, you opened your eyes, finding a dodgeball in your grasp. A witch-like cackle left your lips as the Bizarro Ninja's gazes landed on you (with Bizarro Cole wolf-whistling at the sight). Bizarro Zane tossed you an extra dodgeball, making a grin appear on your face from the rush of power you received with the stroke of luck.

''Our turn.'' Bizarro Kai spoke, holding a dodgeball in his grasp. The kids turned and attempted to flee, the leading kid shouting at the others to run. The kids were met with a barrage of dodgeballs, hardly any of them missing and even knocking a few of them down.

A few of the hits were from your throws, the leading kid getting hit with a dodgeball to the face and falling over. Bizarro Kai approached him and grabbed the boy by the collar, pulling him up to eye level. ''Where are the ninja?" He interrogated the child.

Bizarro Cole carried the boy, Brad Tudabone, up to the door, opening it to find an empty classroom where the real ninja formerly were. ''What is this? Some kind of joke?'' He questioned the kid.

''Uh, that's where they were. Honest!'' Brad begged the duplicate.

Bizarro Cole held his hand high.''Time for another noogie.'' He stared at the kid.

Brad struggled in the fake's grip but he was too strong for the kid to even have a slim chance at escape. ''No, no! Anything but that!'' Brad begged again. You and the fake's heads turned to face the source of a locker door opening, people walking out of it including a few familiar faces.

''Ah. Finally, a way out.'' Cole said in relief, walking out. The copies moved to face them while you decided to stay behind the evil clones.

''Guys, why are we staring at ourselves? And why's (Y/n) with them?'' Kai's eyes were wide upon noticing you peeking from behind Bizarro Jay, smiling nervously.

Noble took one look at the scene folding before his eyes. ''Uh, this is kind of too weird for us. We're gonna stay in here.'' The teachers promptly went back into the hidden room.

''Ha. Those who don't fight, teach.'' Jay noted, looking at the locker before refocusing. The doppelgängers removed their aviator shades to reveal their piercing red eyes.

''Drop the boy, uh, me! (Y/n)! Get away from them!'' Cole shouted at you.

''He's of no use to us anymore.'' Bizarro Cole dropped Brad, who scurried away. Albeit, when you went to move, Bizarro Jay placed a firm hand on one of the wheels of your wheelchair and switched the brakes on.

He turned to face his enemy once again while you struggled to switch them off.

Kai grew worried, meeting his copy's stare. ''Who are you guys?''

''Your doom.'' His copy answered.

''My early assessment tells me this must be Garmadon's doing,'' Zane observed.

''My early assessment tells me you will be destroyed.'' Bizarro Zane snapped back.

You switched the brakes off just in time as the two sides charged at each other, rapidly reversing almost into a wall as a stray locker landed where you were seconds ago. The ninja and the Bizarros fought it out for quite some time, neither side losing or winning. The Darkley's kids that had gathered in the hallway left to another classroom with Lloyd.

Eventually, a kid arrived, dragging you into a classroom where a few other kids were busy making ninja gi in the colours of the ninja outside. Lloyd walked up to you, a smile finding its way onto your face as you opened your arms, the kid immediately jumping into them for a hug.

''I didn't think you'd be here!'' The blond munchkin smiled in the hug, pulling back to look at you with eager eyes. ''Maybe you can help us?"

''Lloyd, of course! I'd be glad to help.'' You scanned the room of kids, all dressed in homemade ninja gi. One walked up to you, having noticed Remo on your shoulders.

''Woah, can your snake help us?" They asked, eyes bright. Remo nodded before you could even open your mouth. Later, the little snake found himself dressed up in a white gi, though it lacked sleeves since he had no limbs.

Your wheelchair had been decked out with a few things, including a (f/c) flag along with you being given a choice gi colour from the ones the kids already had. With the final preparations finished, Lloyd kicked open the door.

''Ninja go!'' Lloyd cried with the horde of kids charging forward in different coloured ninja gi. You charged with them in your wheelchair, yelling a battle cry as you rode it into battle. The original ninja's focus turned to the commotion.

''Hey, it really is Ninja Day!'' Cole exclaimed at the sight.

''Oh, I see what they're doing! They're trying to confuse them!'' Kai replied as the fight was overrun with the kids.

''Yeah, but it's confusing me, too.'' Jay looked around. A bunch of kids began beating up Bizarro Zane but he threw them off himself.

''Keep your focus.'' Zane reminded, spotting his copy hold up a kid in the air. He then whirled into Spinjitzu, making his fake disappear in a cloud of black dust.

''It works just like Gene says. If you can land a punch, they'll be defeated!'' Lloyd shouted to the others. You helped the kids swarm Bizarro Cole, knocking him forward into the waiting fist of the real Cole.

''Aargh! Good riddance!'' Cole exclaimed in relief.

''Don't think you can get rid of us that easily. We have a backup on the way.'' Jay's copy tried to intimidate him.

''We'll see about that!'' Jay jumped behind his copy, kicking him with all the strength he had mustered and causing him to poof in a cloud of black dust just as the previous copy did.

Bizarro Kai growled, jumping out of reach of his copy before he could land a punch, his piercing red eyes almost immediately settling on you. Your blood ran cold. Kai's copy rushed forward, Porcupine letting out a cry of alarm as his impostor stopped just a few centimetres away.

He knelt, his hand reaching out to touch your face but only for a moment, glancing back at the real Kai who charged at him. Bizarro Kai's red eyes met your own. ''Why chase glitter when you're already gold?" He questioned, tilting his head sideways before leaning in.

B.K.'s lips touched yours, his arm looping around your neck while your thoughts ran wild, unable to comprehend what you were thinking while Morro screamed like a banshee in your mind, unable to help what he was also experiencing.

Though the copy was ripped away from you, Kai furiously tackled him to where he evaporated in a cloud of black dust. You wiped your lips with your hand, shaking in your spot while your face grew hot, knowing that Kai was staring at you.

If you were lucky, no one would mention this again.

''Wait, did mine say ''backup''?" Jay questioned the others, a few confused murmurs following his question.

When things could get worse, they did. A squeaking of tyres came from the opposite end of the hallway, heads immediately turning to face the source. Someone in a wheelchair rounded the corner, humming a melody to themselves, looking at the floor.

Unease twisted in your gut as they rolled down the hallway before stopping, lifting their head as their (h/c) hair fell into place, showing their piercing red eyes. A laugh came from your copy, their gaze latching onto you as they changed how they sat to make it look like they were reclining on a throne.

Slowly and steadily, to your horror, one of their shoes met the floor. Then the other. They wobbly rose to their feet, madly grinning while you looked on with shock.

''How?!" Your shout echoed across the hallway while your copy chuckled. The children yelled their battle cry, rushing forward to meet your duplicate. Out of nowhere, kids were flying out in different directions away from your copy, who had begun dropkicking them whilst chuckling with mad glee.

None of them seemed to be hurt that badly, with what Lloyd found anyway. You charged forward with the ninja at your back, your copy's eyes widening and only just sidestepping you charging at them.

''I will NOT go down that easily!'' Bizarro You yelled while the two of you fought. You had a slight advantage, being in a wheelchair. Their punches were easier to dodge while you lashed at the spots you knew were weak, courtesy of being yourself.

Remo launched from his place on your shoulders, smacking your copy in the face as they yelled, getting blindfolded as the little snake wrapped himself around what he could of their head.

''Now, (Y/n)!'' Remo squeaked, you swung a punch at your copy but they moved their head enough for it to miss, backing up and their hands going up to untangle Remo from their face, growling.

A golden opportunity opened itself up as your copy untangled Remo, savouring the feeling of being able to see again while taunting the snake. Swiftly, you brought your fist up below their jaw, and crack, your copy collapsed into a cloud of black dust.

Cheers came from behind you as you turned around, adrenaline pumping through your veins but eventually, all the exhaustion caught up. Your world fell sideways, and the last thing you saw were the ninja walking towards you.

Gasping, you woke up in a cold sweat, the aching in your arms as a consequence of earlier also serving as a reminder of what occurred. You grasped the sheets, breathing heavily as you glanced around. The room was dark, finding yourself back in the apartment you had helped renovate.

Remo wasn't beside you as usual. You fumbled with the sheets, heart racing as you scrambled to find him. Resulting in you tumbling out of bed and hitting your head on the (thankfully) carpeted floor, laying there.

''(Y/n)?" Nya's head poked into the room, a second set of shoes behind her in the hallway. You swallowed the lump that formed in your throat, weakly mumbling a 'yes'. The girl opened the door a bit wider, stepped in and walked over to you, sitting down in front of you. ''Are you okay?"

''I-I don't know.'' You choked on a sob, Nya going to help you up but retracted her hand.

''Can I help you up?" She questioned, you nodded and she gently took your wrist to help you into a seated position. Soothingly, she let her hand rest on your back, gently rubbing circles into it. You sat there as Nya kept calming you down, quieting you when your jumbled words escaped your lips.

Her hands left you when the door opened again, Kai stepping into the room. Nya stood upright, approaching her brother as she briefly eyed you.

''I told you not to come in here.'' She sternly told her brother, who blinked a few times at his sister's tone.

''I just wanted to check on (Y/n).'' His gaze landed on you, though it felt like the breath had been knocked out of your lungs when you saw his eyes glowing red for a second. Your breaths grew shallower, the red of his eyes vanishing instantly, replaced with his normal ones.

He walked over, pausing when he looked down at you, gradually lowering himself until he was near eye level. You eyed him warily. ''It's just me, (Y/n), it's okay.'' Kai gently reassured, sitting cross-legged. ''I won't ask anything of you.''

You hiccuped, your face warming up from embarrassment as Kai appeared to be struggling to keep back a laugh. When the near disaster had been averted, you stared at the floor.

''Is there anything I could do? Nya suggested some grounding techniques.'' Kai questioned.

''If it's that 5-4-3-2-1 technique then I don't want it.'' You grumbled, used to having Remo around as he was usually the one who helped you with this sort of thing. ''I need my sketchbook.''

''Okay.'' Kai's voice was small and he barely questioned your words. He got up, rummaging around in the surface level of your stuff before returning with your beloved sketchbook. Shakily, you opened it, flipping through the pages and critiquing a few of your works in a few mumbles before settling on a blank page.

You snatched the pencil where it rested in the middle, numbly beginning to draw. Bit by bit, your heart rate slowed, regaining feeling in your upper limbs and part of the floor your other hand rested on, breathing more easily, the smell of the dusty apartment entering your lungs momentarily.

The pencil finished its last spiral before you let go.

And a drawing of yourself stared back at you.

If you wanted to, you could use a red pencil and make the eyes red. Instead, you grabbed a colour similar to the one in your eyes, like a robot as you filled in the gaps in the irises. But you were your own person.

Though Nya had been told by her brother the kiss she had been given was by a fake, there was an adoring look in her eyes. She had always admired your artworks, despite some of them just being scribbles.

Kai scooted away to give you some space before standing up to look at his sister. The two shared knowing looks when they turned both of their gazes to you.

Now only one question remained.

How did your copy have their legs fixed?

~~~
A person in a (f/c) coloured set of clothes wheeled through the crowd, keeping their head low and ensuring the shades remained on their face, hiding their red eyes from the rest of the world. While no one was looking, they turned, opened a door and headed inside, closing it behind them.
The store wasn't that big, however, that wasn't their issue as they pulled on a book sitting in a bookcase, a stereotypical passage opening up in the wall next to it. Wheeling through, the entrance closed behind them as they headed further in.
Travelling down a winding passage, they had to be sure the wheelchair wasn't damaged too badly by rocks that jutted out. It opened up into a small cave, where a lone figure sat near a crackling fire.
''Welcome, (Y/n), or shall I greet you as the fake?"
Bizarro (Y/n) stiffened, as the figure turned to face them. ''I came here for help.'' They muttered.
''And help you shall get.'' The figure tossed a small rock into the air, stopping to let it rest on his palm. Bizarro (Y/n) moved to get a closer look.
A small infinity symbol carved into the cut-out rock glittered in the dull light overhead. Its sides, one coloured a deep purple and the other a metallic silver, the two colours merging in the middle. The stranger stood, holding it.
Bizarro (Y/n) did not expect him to throw it down.
The rock shattered into pieces, but silver and deep purple threads like gossamer grew from where it broke, twisting into each other and curling until they formed a ball of the two colours swirling together like marbled texture. It was almost mesmerising to watch but Bizarro (Y/n) tore their gaze away from it.
''It's a sigil stone.'' The stranger explained. ''This is what they're used for once they served their original use. They can do the opposite of what they did in the first place.''
''And what's that?" (Y/n)'s copy questioned.
''Well, you know how it all started with your original self breaking their legs?" The stranger smirked. ''This can fix that.'' He gazed at the remnants of the sigil stone while it hovered, waiting to be used. ''Someone will be jealous.''
The sigil stone remnants, guided by the stranger's hand, began floating toward Bizarro (Y/n) as they stared at it greedily, their hands outstretching to take it. But the stranger guided it downward, the magic stretching itself as it wrapped around their legs like bandages.
''These pathetic legs won't serve me well, so I thank you. Eugh, that sounded disgusting, I'm never saying that again.'' Bizarro (Y/n) shook their head, gagging as their legs were being repaired. The stranger hummed a tune to himself.
''True. You won't be seeing me again for the rest of your life- quite literally.'' The stranger mused. ''Also, fun fact, the reason why you're in this predicament is because your original struck a deal with a wrinkly dear old friend of mine.''
''What?" Bizarro (Y/n) furrowed their eyebrows. ''With who?"
''I'm bound to a similar contract, breaking it would have consequences.'' He shrugged. ''Not much I can do there.'' He looked down, seeing the magic fading away from Bizarro (Y/n)'s legs when they were fully healed. ''Don't be too suspicious. They'll find out more easily if you start walking around.''
''Anything else I should know, Captain Obvious?" Bizarro (Y/n) lifted an eyebrow.
''Perhaps.'' The stranger pulled his hood down, revealing his thick brown hair and pale grey eyes as well as lightly tanned skin. ''Some know me as Mr Tanek, but please, call me Casimir.''
I have been absent for too long, here's to good luck with me doing the rest of the chapters on time. Also, I am one person, support is greatly appreciated even if you doubt yours is enough, I know it is enough.
Thank you to all the people supporting me so far. It's a great journey, with more I hope on the horizon.  I must rest now.
