At Mega Monster Amusement Park, the people on the rollercoaster cheered as they went, passing a few Vermillion, their screams of joy turning to screams of fear.

While on the Ferris wheel, a Vermillion soldier took a piece out of the Ferris wheel car, scaring a pair of people on the ride.

The Vermillion then went for the mascots, who were for some reason wearing metal as the material of their costumes.

''What are those things?'' A man asked as they piled on top of the poor mascots.

''What do they want?'' Another man asked.

''Not the mascot!'' A woman cried out.

Then, the dudes were left without their costumes, leaving them to shake in fear.

There were two boys on the Ghost Train ride, bored as they looked at the dummies meant to scare them.

''Not cool.'' A boy said, looking at his surroundings.

''So lame.'' the boy next to him said, clearly bored as they passed two Piles of Snakes in armour.

''Not cool.'' Spoke the first, before a Vermillion Warrior appeared in front of them, and started to take apart their ride.  

''So lame!'' The second one yelled, holding onto the boy next to him tightly.

 ''Not cool!'' The first shouted.

''Ah, I just love the smell of screams in the evening,'' Raggmunk told himself as the people in the amusement park screamed and panicked as the Vermillion took the metal.

''Mega Monster Amusement Park? Really? Don't these guys have any sense of decency? Where does it end?'' Cole asked as they arrived.

''It ends here and now,'' Lloyd answered.

''Pixal, give me a danger analysis,'' Zane ordered. ''Pixal? Pixal, respond. I need a danger analysis.'' He said.

The Water Ninja gasped. ''Here's one! The roller coaster!'' She exclaimed, pointing to it. The Vermillion were taking apart its tracks, leaving a large gap. 

''Zane, Cole, get up there fast!'' Lloyd ordered.

''Right.'' The nindroid replied.

''Got it.'' The Great Cake Devourer said, and the two used Airjitzu to reach the rollercoaster.

''The rest of you, spread out. Time to make this place a snake-free zone. We can do this, team!'' Green Bean told the others.

''Wow, listen to Lloyd taking charge. I like it. He's starting to get this Master thing down.'' Burnt Toast said to Tall Glass O' Water.

The people on the rollercoaster screamed, nearly at the gap. Zane stood on the other side, looking up at the approaching rollercoaster cart. 

Just as they came off the track, Frosty the Ice Ninja used his powers to carry the rollercoaster cart safely to the ground, with the people intact, while freezing some cotton candy in the process.

The man next to the boy shrugged and poured some flavouring on it to make a snow cone, minus the cone.

''You don't have a ticket, and you don't have a ticket, and you, and you,'' Cole told the Vermillion as he pushed them off the rollercoaster tracks.

''Which one of you slimeballs stole my Samurai X suit? Was it you? Or you? Or you? We're gonna go 'round and 'round and 'round until I get some answers!'' Nya told the Vermillion on the Ferris wheel as she kicked them off.

(Y/n) was using her illusions to make a small flock of birds appear, and made them swoop at the Vermillion, trying to get them away from the people. The illusions didn't seem to bother them, though Morro came in and used his wind to knock them back.

Kai jumped onto the front of the cart the two boys were sitting in as they screamed, and the Fire Ninja kicked the two Piles of Snakes off. He then glanced over his shoulder to see what he thought was a ghost and kicked it. It then turned out to be a badly done ghost made out of wood.  

''Fake ghost, hehe. I knew that.'' He told the two boys, chuckling nervously.

''So lame.'' The first boy said, unimpressed.

''Not cool.'' The second added.

Kai then took down another one, with its helmet landing in his hands. ''Huh? That symbol. It's...'' He said as he stared at it. Then, the Vermillion took their helmet back, interrupting Burnt Toast's thoughts, but wore it backwards. It then stumbled into a wooden coffin, where the lid slammed shut on it.

''A-Squadron, hold off the Ninja. The rest of you, keep bringing the metal. We must multitask.'' Raggmunk commanded, and the Vermillion surrounded a boy.

''Mind if I borrow these?'' Green Bean asked, grabbing two sticks of cotton candy and shoved it in two of the Vermillion's faces. ''What's your name?''

''I'm Johnny.'' The boy answered.

Lloyd then used a candy nunchuck to defeat some more Vermillion. ''Nice to meet you, Johnny.'' The Green Bean then handed the sweet-looking nunchuck to the young boy.

''You too, Lloyd,'' Johnny replied.

''Ninja, go!'' The Green Ninja shouted as he did spinjitzu. ''Ninja, sound off! Is everyone okay?'' He called out to the others.

''So far, barely!'' Tall Glass O' Water replied, appearing beside the Green Ninja.

''If you mean "Okay, there sure are a lot of them!" then, yeah, I'm okay.'' Cake Devourer said.

 ''For the record, this is the least amusing amusement park I've ever been to,'' Kai told the others.

''Why even call it an amusement park?'' Morro asked as they backed up onto a statue stripped of most of its metal.

''I guess with all the rides and attractions that's what makes one, right?'' Vitamin C questioned.

''These snakes are behaving curiously,'' Zane said.

 ''You think? 'Cause boosting scrap metal doesn't seem like, you know, normal snake behaviour.'' Kai replied.

''Neither does reforming into unstoppable samurai things.'' Cake Devourer said.

''I mean strategically. They appear more interested in keeping us away from their compatriots that are stealing metal than they are in actually defeating us.'' The Ice Ninja told them.

''Well, they finally have to deal with us at full strength. And—hang on. Has anyone seen Jay?'' Lloyd asked.

''No. Now that you mention it, he wasn't with us when we arrived.'' Kai answered.

''You know, just once, it would be nice to go into battle with a full team,'' Cole said.

''Well don't tell us, tell Jay! He's the one who took off for wherever without saying a word to us.'' Burnt Toast replied.

''I'm sure he has a good reason.'' Tall Glass O' Water told him.

''Well, I'm glad you're sure.'' The Fire Ninja said.

''Hold on, I'll listen for them.'' (Y/n) told the others, and used her hearing capabilities. First, she went to check on her espionage snek to see if he was okay. Remo seemed to be doing fine, but she was only able to have good hearing, and not the best sight. 

She then directed her gaze towards where she thought the scrapyard would be and listened.

Blunck watched as the Vermillion took scrap metal from the heaps, with a garbage truck being loaded with metal. ''Yes! Keep it coming! Can't disappoint Commander Machia. No, not the Hands of Time's pet.'' He said mockingly, out of spite to Red Medusa.

''I reserve the right to refuse service to you!'' Ed yelled, appearing in a forklift and taking down a few Vermillion. 

''I don't think they saw your sign in the front window, honey,'' Edna told her husband, casually sweeping some Vermillion snakes away.

''Take your fangs off my parents, you darn dirty snakes!'' Jay shouted, jumping off his bike and using his lightning to reduce one Vermillion into a puddle of snakes. ''Mom! Dad! Are you okay?'' 

''Oh, well, I'm now very late for my quilting circle,'' Edna told her adopted son.

''The Ninja mustn't interfere. Get over there and take him down.'' Blunck ordered.

Ed's forklift was then pushed by some Vermillion. ''Whoa, whoa!'' He said, and Jaybird saved him in time before he could get crushed. ''Oh, Jay, what's happening? These fellas came out of nowhere and started grabbing things.'' He told his son.

''Yeah, they do that.'' Jay replied.

''Oh! Now that's rude!'' Edna said as she fought for her purse with a Vermillion Warrior. The Lightning Ninja then used his powers to defeat the Pile of Snakes.

''Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. I'm gonna get you both out of here on my bike.'' Jay reassured his parents, before seeing it had been taken apart. ''Argh!''

Remo quietly slithered into the room, seeing Krux he quickly hid. Acronix then walked in, looking at Borg.

''Everything is moving along according to plan, brother. The metal is coming by the snake-load and our, ahem, labourers are already hard at work on their various projects. How's it going with Borg?'' Younger Boomer asked his brother.

''Poorly. He's barely made progress on the apparatus. And I thought you were supposed to be this era's greatest inventor!'' Older Boomer answered, picking the object up.

''Oh, how can I create anything with these substandard materials?'' The Inventor asked, holding up a spoon. ''Chunks of metal, tiny scraps! And these! These aren't even good trophies! And don't get me started on these ancient tools! Sorry, I can't do it.'' He told them, crossing his arms and looking away.

''Excuses. In my day, we built with anything at hand. Craftsmanship meant something. I suspect you can build the apparatus. You just don't want to.'' Krux replied, putting his hands on the edge of the table.

''Okay, yes,'' Cyrus admitted. ''And you can't make me!''

''Hmm, don't be so sure.'' The Older Boomer said, before seeing Red Medusa walk up to them. ''Ah, Commander Machia. I see you received my message.''

''I did. What was so important that you pulled me from the battlefield? I'm reluctant to leave details up to those fools, Blunck and Raggmunk.'' Machia replied.

''It appears one of our workers is reluctant to do his job. I was hoping you could...motivate him.'' Krux suggested.

''With pleasure.'' Red Medusa replied.

''No. No, no, no. Wait! I-I'll do whatever you want!'' Cyrus begged.

''Yes. I know you will.'' Machia said.

The Wheelchaired Inventor screamed. ''So...so, so tickly! So, so terribly awful!'' He exclaimed as the snakes on her head tickled him.

''I like her. She's...mean.'' Acronix spoke.

''Sounds like someone has a crush.'' His brother replied.

''I do not!'' His younger brother told him. ''I mean, she's cute, sure. On the surface, but deep down, she's a pile of snakes-'' Time then slowed down for a brief moment. 

(Y/n) felt a stinging sensation around her neck, and she looked down at her hands, which were glowing blue for some reason. Luckily, the others didn't see as they were fighting the Vermillion. 

''It has arrived, brother. Did you not hear me? The next Time Blade has arrived! Which means we should be out looking for it. And yet you play children's games?'' Krux asked, seeing his fellow Seaweed-faced bro looking at the BorgWatch.

''I am trying to discern the Blade's location on my smartwatch! However, if you keep distracting me...'' Acronix argued.

''Fine, fine! As usual, you have far too much faith in technology. Doesn't seem like a smartwatch to me.'' Older Boomer replied.

''Actually, the BorgWatch is the smartest smartwatch ever. There's a heart rate monitor, a GPS unit, and even a temporal anomaly locator, hm?'' Cyrus informed them.

''The Time Blade is at latitude 34 degrees, longitude 28 degrees,'' Acronix said, before seeing another red dot on the holographic map, making him furrow his eyebrows in confusion.

''Very well. It appears technology has its uses. Maybe. Sometimes.'' Krux replied, too stubborn to admit the usefulness of the technology.

''Hm, the Eastern Sea of Sand, given the Blade's location, our troops at both the scrapyard and Mega Monster Amusement park can get to it before we can. I'm afraid Blunck and Raggmunk are in the best position to retrieve it.'' Machia said, examining the map, before spotting the second red dot. ''There is another red dot.''

Remo almost let out a gasp, before closing his mouth. Acronix seemed to freeze for a moment, while Krux spun on his heel and turned around. 

''What?'' The Older Boomer asked in disbelief. He then walked over to the map and looked at it. ''How is this possible?''

''It must be a glitch.'' The Younger Boomer replied dismissively. ''We have to carry out the plan.'' He then glared at Cyrus, who was silent, his mind searching for answers. But he had none.

''The Blade is now our top priority. Commander Machia, make it so.'' Krux ordered, not at all interested in learning how the technology worked and slowly walked away.

''Blunck, Raggmunk, hear me.'' Red Medusa said as she sent a message to the two.

''Message received, Commander Machia. Vermillion Warriors, we're leaving. Take the builder, now.'' Blunck ordered.

 ''Vermillion Warriors? Really? That's what they're calling—Hey!'' Jay said as he saw one attempting to kidnap his dad.

 ''Let go of me! Watch it!'' Ed said, and the Lightning Ninja save him from being kidnapped while fighting it in a car, a vehicle from the top of the scrap pile fell down, blocking Jay.

Ed then looked over at Edna, who was casually sweeping the Vermillion snakes away. ''Take her, she may be a builder also,'' Blunck ordered.

''Wait, wait! I don't like to go anywhere without my purse! Aah!'' She said as the crane from the garbage truck picked her up.

''Edna!'' Ed called out for his wife as the garbage truck began to drive away.

''Put me down! Aah! Help!'' His wife screamed.

Jay used his lightning to blast the vehicle blocking his way. ''Mum! Hang on, I'm coming! Gotta form my Dragon. Come on, Jay. You can do this. You can do this. I can't do this, I'm too freaked!'' Jay said, fear clouding his thoughts.

''There's meatloaf in the freezer, honey!'' Edna yelled in the distance.

''Is everyone all right?'' Lloyd asked the others.

''Yeah, so what happened?'' Kai questioned.

''They had us and then...'' Cole replied, trailing off.

''And then it was like when the Time Blades showed up. Except, instead of time speeding forward, it slowed down. Way down.'' Nya said.

(Y/n) looked at her hands. They had been glowing blue. Time had slowed down and her hands had been glowing blue. 

Reality sank in, and her eyes widened. All she could hear was the sound of her racing heart while panic set in, making her feel dizzy. The others noticed her distress and stopped talking. 

''What's wrong?'' Morro asked, turning his gaze to the girl.

The others were looking concerned. While Zane knew, the temporal anomaly locator did not lie. It was better not to mention it to the others, as it seemed to be a sensitive topic for the Orange Ninja.

''We should get going, we can't let those snakes get to the next time blade.'' (Y/n) spoke. The others looked at each other, before getting into their vehicles, and driving towards the known location of the Slow-Mo blade.

''Oh, I just promised nothing was gonna hurt you guys! And now they've taken Mum!'' Jay said, looking off into the distance

''It's going to be fine. I'm sure you'll come up with a way to save the day.'' Ed tried to reassure him.

''Yeah? How can you be sure?'' His adopted son asked.

''Well, because you have every other time the forces of evil have descended on this place.'' His father replied, making him groan. ''Just remember what we say in the scrap metal business. "Keep your emotions under control and focus on the problem at hand." Ed reminded him.

''Do you actually say that?'' Jay asked.

''Ah, it's a surprisingly harsh business, son. The important thing is, we raised you to never give up.'' Ed told him.

Ginja sighed. ''You're right. I'm going after Mum.'' 

''That's the spirit, son!'' Ed cheered.

 He then looked at his bike, which was infested with snakes. ''Where's the nearest bus stop?'' Jay asked.

''Ahem. Hold on. I have something here that might be useful. Something that doesn't require a bus pass. Now, normally, I don't believe in giving birthday gifts early, but your mother is in danger, so I'm gonna make an exception.'' Ed said, and uncovered a motorbike. ''Like it? I built it myself.'' He added proudly.

''Um...'' Ginja said, and sat on it, but the vehicle fell apart easily. ''I've got some ideas for a few modifications. If that's okay.''

''Only if you let me help,'' Ed replied, winking.

The Vermillion were racing the ninja to the location of the Time Blade, in the Sea of Sand.

''Lovely morning for a ride in the desert,'' Blunck said.

''It's too blasted hot!'' Raggmunk complained.

''Yes, but it's a dry heat,'' Blunck replied.

''You see, this is why I wanted my purse. I keep a bottle of water in it. Hydration is important!'' Edna told the Vermillion.

''I don't see the Time Blade, but—They have Jay's mum!'' Cole exclaimed.

''That must be why Jay left so suddenly. But, where is he?'' Nya asked.

''We have to worry about that later. There's still a chance to get to the Time Blade first. Split up!'' Green Bean ordered.

''Come on, come on!'' Cole said, seeing a rock face. He made his vehicle tilt, avoiding a crash. The vehicle then landed on its wheels, and he kept driving it. ''Aah! Yes!''

Nya drove her vehicle up a jump and quickly turned it to block a Vermillion Soldier, who crashed into the sand.

''We're approaching the Time Blade!'' Zane informed.

''Incoming!'' Nya exclaimed, seeing a Pile of Snakes in a rollercoaster cart headed straight for them, and crashed into the pair.

(Y/n) used her illusions to create the image of a boulder in front of a Pile of Snakes, who swerved and hit the canyon wall.

''Oh, Nya! So nice to see you, dearie.'' Edna said as she saw the Water Ninja. 

''Ninja, I have just the thing for you! Snakey-snake-snake!'' Raggmunk told them, pulling out some snakes and he threw the slithering critters at them. 

''Oh, crap we're going down!'' Morro exclaimed, in the supersonic jet with Lloyd as it spiralled out of control.

(Y/n) looked down at her ankles, which seemed to be covered in snakes. Knowing it was not wise to try to get them off, the ninja kitsune tried her best to ignore them.

But that didn't matter, as all it took was for a snake to ruin the electromagnetic workings of it, and without any warning, (Y/n) found herself falling off the hoverboard.

The others crashed their vehicles, while the Vermillion were way ahead, closer to the Slow-Mo Time Blade.

''The Time Blade, yes! Come to Raggmunk.'' Raggmunk said, seeing it.

''Hey! Why should you get the credit? Mine!'' Blunck claimed.

''The Time Blade! No!'' Lloyd shouted as the ninja team ran towards the Time Blade.

''Yes! I got it! Oh, it feels better than I could ever have imagined.'' Raggmunk said as he snatched it up.

''Oh, can I hold it? Let me hold it!'' Blunck was then knocked away by Raggmunk.  

Raggmunk faced the ninja. ''What's the rush, little fools?'' He asked, and fired a blast of slowness at them, only for them to dodge and hit a vehicle.

''Nice shot.'' Blunck mocked.

''It's my first time!'' Raggmunk complained.

''Yes! We still have a chance! Move, move, move!'' Lloyd urged.

 ''Let me show you how it's done!'' Blunck said, grabbing the Time Blade. He then fired it at the ninja.

Without any warning, (Y/n)'s hands glowed blue, and she fired a blast of something blue to counter the shot. The two blasts of Slow-Mo seemed to be equal in power before the one fired from the Time Blade overpowered the other, and it went towards the ninja, trapping them in a Slow-mo bubble.

Raggmunk and Blunck were speechless. ''Did that really happen?'' Raggmunk asked after finding his voice.

''Tear them apart.'' 

The Vermillion began to close in on the ninja, but before they could enter the bubble, it burst, and the ninja began to use spinjitzu on the Vermillion. 

''Now, Jay, there's a speed limit,'' Ed told his son as they sped through the Sea of Sand.

''Mum is in trouble!'' Jaybird replied.

 ''And there are times it's okay to ignore it. Hit it, son!'' His father urged.

''Huh?'' Blunck said, confused as he saw Jay and Ed approaching on a motorcycle.

''I hope you brought water!'' Edna yelled.

''Water won't help him,'' Blunck replied.

''What are you doing? You're also gonna slow all of us!'' Raggmunk said, snatching the blade.

''Exactly,'' Blunck said, and suddenly, everything slowed down, with the Vermillion and the ninja trapped in the time bubble.

''What is that?'' Jay asked, seeing the time bubble, and tried to stop his vehicle, only to drift into it, and crash into a canyon wall once they got out.  

''Jay!'' Cole said in slow motion, seeing the Lightning Ninja crash.

''Son!'' Edna called out.

''Stay here, Dad,'' Jay said and got onto his bike.

 ''W-What are you gonna do?'' Ed asked.

''It's like you said: never give up.'' The Lightning Ninja answered.

''Well, son, that's before I saw everyone slow to a snail's pace,'' Ed replied.

''Which is why we modified the bike,'' Jay told him.

''Oh,'' Ed said after the Lightning Ninja sped off.

''Lightning speed!'' Jay exclaimed, and the motorcycle began to spark with electricity, making him look like he was someone from Tron. The Lightning Ninja grabbed his mother and knocked the Blade out of the Vermillion Commander's scaly hands, making it go back to normal speed.

''Way to go, Jay!'' Cole cheered.

''Talk about making a comeback!'' Kai exclaimed.

Ginja then zoomed away, unable to stop his bike. ''Sorry, I left you before, can't stop. Please help my dad and get the Blade! See you back at the Temple!'' He said quickly.

 Kai slid in and took the blade before any more of the Vermillion could pick it up. ''Looking for this? Catch!'' He said, and the ninja began to play Vermillion in the middle.

(Y/n) had to keep the other Vermillion away, as they now knew of her importance.

''Guys, quit messing around! We got the Blade! Let's get out of here!'' Lloyd told the others as Morro used his wind to help the Orange Ninja.

The Fire Ninja sighed. ''Remember how I said I like the way Lloyd is taking charge?'' He asked.

''Yeah,'' Nya said.

''I take it back,'' Kai replied.

 The ninja began to run, away from the Vermillion. ''After them! Go, go, go! If we don't get the time blade at least get the girl!''

Burnt Toast almost tripped on a helmet. ''There's that symbol again!'' He said, picking it up. 

''Go, go, go, go, go, go, go! We're not gonna make it! We don't have enough time!'' Nya urged.

''You can do the honours Lloyd,'' (Y/n) said, beginning to get tired.

''Yes, we do. Everyone, behind me! We have all the time we need!'' The Green Bean warned, and the others got behind him. He then used the blade on the Vermillion, slowing them down. 

''Come on, Mr Walker. That time bubble won't last long!'' Lloyd said. 

''Will it last long enough for us to get these heaps in the shop for repairs?'' Ed asked.

''Probably not,'' Cole answered.

''The Supersonic Raider Jet!'' Green Bean said, looking at it.

''The only damage to the jet is the port wing, which I can stabilize,'' Zane replied.

''Everybody else in!'' Lloyd ordered, and they quickly climbed into the vehicle.

''No, no, no! Pull up, pull up! Pull up, pull up! You call this stabilizing?'' Cole asked as the jet dipped, before pulling up.

''I'm trying!'' The Ice Ninja replied.

''Try harder!'' Cake Devourer told him.

The time bubble burst, freeing the Vermillion. ''Ah! What are we going to tell the Hands of Time?'' Raggmunk questioned.

''The moon was in our eyes?'' Blunck asked.

''That's...not bad. Actually, yeah, let's go with that.'' Raggmunk admitted.

''We did it! We got the Time Blade! We finally caught a break!'' The Green Ninja exclaimed.

''Is anyone going to talk about (Y/n)'s glowing blue hands?'' Cole asked, bringing the ninja's attention to the girl, who had fallen asleep, exhausted. 

''Today was like a punch to the face for her,'' Nya said.

''Yeah, but how did she get the powers of the time blade?'' Kai questioned.

While the others were theorising, Morro sat there awkwardly, silent. 

He then spoke up. ''(Y/n)'s father is Acronix.''

Secrets always have a way of coming out.

The ninja looked at him like he was crazy, but he was clearly sane.

''And we also need to get Remo.''  He added. '' He may have some information we need.'' Morro then patted (Y/n)'s ears as she slept.

''Mm-hm, I see. Moon in your eyes, makes sense. Yes, I'll tell them. Goodbye. They failed. As I suspected they would.'' Machia informed the twins.

''What? We didn't get the Time Blade!?'' Krux asked, his smile disappearing as quickly as he heard the news, enraged.

''You do remember there was a second temporal anomaly?'' Machia asked, making Acronix bite his lip. ''You will get what you need, soon.''

It was time for Remo to leave, as he had seen and heard everything, slithering almost unnoticed out of the room.

But the snakes making up Machia's snake hair turned their gaze to the little snake and began hissing, bringing unwanted attention to Remo, who vanished as Red Medusa turned around.

And Krux had seen him. 

''We've been spied on!''

''Vermillion, search for any intruders.''

Remo wins the award for best snake of the year, and he will receive one thousand ham sandwiches.
