Casa di Niyati

Da quando Enrique l'aveva abbandonata Niyati era sempre triste la notte, perche' pensava al passato, ai loro momenti e versava lacrime e lacrime prima di addormentarsi. Come ogni sera la madre andava a controllare che stesse bene e che avesse mangiato. Quella notte Niyati era diversa, era tranquilla e felice con se stessa.

Quando la madre andò a dormire, si mise sul balcone e cominciò ad ammiare la luna così piena e così luminosa. Illuminava la notte con la sua luce e le sue stelle.

Niyati Arora: ciao Mr Kumar, tutto bene?

Niyati Arora: sto bene, che facevi di bello?
Shravan Kumar: ero a letto che pensavo..tu?

Shravan Kumar:si lo so..solo che nessuno mi aveva mia detto una cosa simile..
Niyati Arora:capisco...è una cosa positiva spero..

Erano passati mesi da quando Shravan e Niyati uscivano insieme, invece Sam e Catherine stavano praticamente insieme. Niyati aveva passato molto del suo tempo con Shravan, aveva imparato il modo di vivere di Shravan, aveva conosciuto Jyoti, mentre erano ad un ristorante. Molte delle volte Niyati ripeteva ciò che aveva studiato a scuola con lui. Lui non si annoiava mai con lei, l'importante era stare con lei il più possibile. Entrambi stavano cambiando, stavano crescendo e tutto ciò accadeva senza che se ne accorgessero.

Shravan andava in discoteca per vedere Niyati che era sempre lì con Catherine. Sam era sorpresa che l'avrebbe pregato di andarci.

«Beh almeno quei due si stanno divertendo» affermò Shravan.
«A me non piace tanto venire qui,cioè penso sia per le persone che vogliano divertirsi. Io sono una da ristorante, da posti romantici» disse Niyati
«Lo so» Shravan sorrise.
«Guidi tu oggi?» chiese.
«Non mi va di bere quindi si» rispose il ragazzo.

Erano le tre del mattino, Shravan aveva lasciato sia Sam che Catherine alle loro proprie case, restava Niyati che si era addormentata. Arrivò a destinazione si voltò accorgendosi che si era addormentata. La guardava così tristemente e così dolcemente. Le accarezzò il viso e le si svegliò.

«Siamo arrivati?» disse assonnecchiata.
«Si» rispose.
«Allora ci vediamo domani okay?» chiese.
«Okay» rispose.
«Shravan» disse prima di scendere.
«Dimmi» rispose.
«Grazie» disse.
«Per cosa?» chiese confuso.
«Di farmi sorridere e di andare avanti» rispose.
Shravan rimase in silenzio col suo sorriso soddisfatto, la ragazza diede un bacio sulla guancia e scese dalla macchina.
