Nico's POV

It was midnight and I was about to shadow travel to the camp when I felt something strange. The moment I feel it I knew what was it. Someone was coming who doesn't belong to the land of the living , I haven't felt like this since the doors of death are closed. I looked over and saw Melana stealing the fleece off the Thalia's tree and the guard dragon who was sleep or better to say passed out. I tapped will on the shoulder and mentioned him over the Thalia's tree. He's eyes widened and we headed to the tree.
-hey melana , what are you doing?
She turned around to face us. There was no sign of surprise in her face.
"follow me" she said and headed into the woods. When we reached to the shadows of forest, the blackness of shadows start to apparel us. I took Will's hand and followed her lead. We appeared right in front of a hickory.  I'm wasn't quite sure that it was supposed to be here. She reached forward and place the fleece on it. The tree begin to glow as she was whispering something and I find out that she was leading fleece's power to do something; I had bad idea of what was going on. There was a flash of light and there he was... The lightning thief.

(Surprise! I'm really sad that I couldn't end it here. It would be awesome but that way the chapter would be short.)

I took Will's hand and go back to camp CHB.
-why did you came back?!
-Will.. I think we should stay out of this.

Luke's POV
(now which one of you see that coming?)

I opened my eyes. I was dead; I knew that, but i wasn't in asphodel any longer.
-who are you?
-my name is melana and I'll be your servant here.
-servant?
-I will explain you what you need to know and what you want to know. I will also do anything you commend.
-first, where am i?

She only mentioned the house that was near us. It looked familiar; but I didn't want to know. Sadly, I knew. It was my mother's house. I don't know why but I start to walk to it. It was like I was hypnotized. I knock on the door, no answer. Melana handed a key to me; I opened the door , there was no sound ,nothing and the house was dusty. I turned back to Melana. "I'm sorry" was the only thing she said. I ran to my mother's room and thrust my head in her pillow. I couldn't stop crying. Luckily Melana didn't come up to check on me. I think she knew I needed time. I just... I left her. All those years and I knew she was waiting for me to come back to her. And I never did, I didn't even felt bad for what I was doing back then; when I still had time... I don't know how long I was crying but when I got a litter calmed down, Melana knocked on the door.
-come in.
She opened the door and afford me some food. I couldn't eat anything but I didn't have a choice. Melana feed me, like literally.
- so...?
- so?
-I have a few questions.
She looked at me like she was waiting for me to continue.
-are you a half blood?
-yes.
-who's your godly parent?
- Thanatos.
I shivered; daughter of death? I knew about children of hades but this was new. However she did not seem to be offended.
-why do you serve me?
-because of the Lord.
-what Lord?
- I am not allowed to call his name.
I sighed. Looks like it gonna take a while.
