A Flower Of The Most Delicate Kind
I felt the grogginess drift through my veins, I had to thank Blaze the minute she awoke.
No one had helped me before.
I felt my stomach protest in the form of light nausea, I knew I had no food in my system to throw up. I felt that was a small blessing, no food shall go to waste, something my older sister drilled into me. My sister had fair blonde hair and beautiful blonde eyes, she was fifteen when I was kidnapped, and though she never had time for me she tried to defend me when my family was cruel.

I drew in a ragged breath, my black dress was long, touching the floor delicately. It was made of the finest silk, I grit my teeth and stared at my mother and the man with fear in my eyes.
"You will be punished." he made the final declaration.
My fate was sealed.
The throne room was tall, large pillars holding up an arching ceiling that resembled a beast's ribcage. I felt tears trickle down my round cheeks, leaving bitter trains of liquid sorrow.
What had I done? Had I eaten too much? Had I talked too much?
I was only five years old.
'Why?' was running through my head non-stop.
"Mother!" I yelled in a voice barely above a whisper "Why?! Please, I'm scared!" I called out for her, my mother.
I ran up to her, she was standing beside the man who was seated, I approached her with my hands held out.
Slap!
I held my red cheek with a betrayed look on my face, I had been rejected.
I was truly alone.
I broke down then, sobs racking my frail body, my tears dampening the carpet. The man and my... And the woman - the stranger - stood, looking at me with disgust.
"No!" came a sweet voice, a savior.
My sister came through the main door, she was panting as her white dress dragged along the ground, it was flawless, it complimented her slim face and long blonde hair, her normally calm ocean blue eyes held a storm that was barely being contained.
"What do you think you are doing? She is a five year-old child!" my sister, Elizabeth, then turned to my blood mother "She is the real one at fault, she cheated you, father! After mother died your mind has taken a turn for the worse, look at you! Bullying a poor girl who has nothing to do with this!" she ranted angrily, her voice ringing with kindness and passion.
She was my hero, my savior.
I looked at her with admiration, why couldn't my mother have been a woman like that?
Thud!
The sound that haunted me,
The sound of my sister's head hitting the floor as her father slapped her harshly, the man had then spit on her as the guards rushed to get her treatment.
She lived, but I had already been gone before she awoke.
♥Flashback (over)♠
I shuddered at the memory, I turned and saw Blaze, the girl had also helped me. Perhaps more than Elizabeth had physically, but not mentally.
Though I still owed her, and I would make sure to pay her back. I did not like owing people things.
Trust was a flower of the most delicate kind.
