Next day, Sunday morning. After having a blast last night along with my elder brother and sister and talking we fall asleep peacefully. While I was sleeping I heard someone disturbing my sleep and screaming 'Wake Up', Surie ! I, anyhow, managed to wake up and when I got up I found 'Meera' holding a bunch of flowers in her hands and saying, Surprise! And congratulations 'Ms. Surie Malhotra and now it's time for celebrations'. I was like, 'What a pleasant surprise' and when did you came and how you managed to come so early? She said, 'forget about all these things and just close your eyes'. I asked, why? She said in a very girly tone, the way they asked to 'close eyes' before giving any 'gift' to anyone. She said, 'close your eyes and see and feel the magic. I impatiently closed my eyes, and she repeatedly telling me 'no cheating, Surie! I can see that you can see. At last, I closed my eyes. She said, the countdown begins 3, 2, and 1 and now see the magic. When I opened my eyes, I saw a big box wrapped in bright colored wrappers. She handed to me and asked me to open it. I started opening or almost tearing the wrapper impatiently like kid used to when they have to open anything which is wrapped tightly. She laughingly said to me, 'you don't have to catch a train so better open it patiently. I was almost lost in opening my box so I didn't listened to her. I opened the wrapper and found 'an orange, green and blue colored strips handbag looks so pretty and inside the bag I found a black and cream colored along with a bow in front belle shoes. I looked at her and said impulsively 'iski kya zarurat thi'? She smilingly said, 'may be but it's just a small gift from me and it's nothing in front of the letter who wrote for me? That letter is priceless, I can't write the way you write that's why small gift, you have to accept it anyhow and stop being so formal to me, I know from inside you are dying to have it and stop doing show off. I said, how mean and we both laughed on each other.

Come out, Surie! Mom said, have your breakfast because of you Meera too didn't had anything. She said, she'll have it with you. I immediately got down from my bed and took Meera to the hall along with me. I found there were oodles of dishes served on the dining table. I asked mom with a concern, is any guest is going to come? She asked, why? I said then why you made so much of dishes, its spread all over the table. She smiled and said, 'for you and Meera'? I was jaw dropped. I again asked, are you sure you made it for us? She confidently said, like I was never, it's totally for you both. Yesterday, very late we came to know about your actual result, so I wasn't able to make anything at night and that's why me and your elder sister got up early in the morning and made all these for you, and later, Meera informed us about her coming home and also not to inform you, she wanted to surprise you, so we made it. We both hurriedly pulled out the chair and sat down to start the meal. There were samosas, chole bature, onion bhajiyas, idlis, dosas, and our favorite 'milk bikis' cream biscuits and a morning is incomplete without a cup of refreshing tea. We both were full till the throat. We thanked my mom and sister for the king-size breakfast. I said to my elder sister, any food made by you is like beauty with brain, she laughed on me and said, stop buttering on me instead do it on your bread. I said mom, you're amazing. She said, I knew it, tell me something I donno and we both shared a warm smile to each other.

My elder brother entered in the hall and said, sweet moments are not sweet until having any sweet and the meal is too incomplete without 'you scream and I scream and we all scream for an 'ice-cream' and asked, 'Wanna try pineapple'? We both were like, anything except chocolate and strawberry. Strawberries taste is familiar as the syrup 'Gelusil' and Chocolates, hardly anyone likes in my family. That's why we always prefer Vanilla, Butterscotch and Pineapple, the most favorites.

Sophia and Aisha called and 'congratulated' me. Meera said, hey! Wassup? They both replied 'sky is up' and Meera was like, stop acting insane like Surie. I puzzingly looked at her and she ran towards the corridor to hid because she knew I am going to hit her by throwing something on her, I too ran behind her and said, 'you better wait over there I let you know right now who is the 'real insane'?

Meanwhile, my cell phone starts ringing. Meera said, you're phone Surie? I asked her to answer and she said someone is asking for you. I raised my eye brows up and asked who? She said no idea? I thought might be its Siddharth I took the phone in my hand and said, hello. A soft low female voice came from the other side of the phone saying, Hello Ma'am. I'm speaking from 'The Vodafone Company' and I want to let you know the good news that you've been selected. I asked, what you mean and selected for what? She replied, you're selected as the 'Lucky Customer of the Month' among the lucky ones. I was so abstruse that I didn't get what she is saying. I said, sorry but you dialed a wrong number and I'm not a 'Vodafone' user. She replied, we know it Ma'am and I didn't dial a wrong number and we want you to participate in a game which our company has newly organized, along with your any friend because it's a game played between two friends called 'who knows best'. There will be many more contestants along with you and if you won the game you will get goodies and a trip to Venice. (VENICE, I don't why but I always love the idea of Venice, the beautiful city on the water, super awesome. I know there's a lot of a chance of floods and etc but still I want to be there along with my all family members, someday I wish) The way she said Venice, I said to her, stop pulling my legs, Zysha. Only few know I like Venice and she is one among them. I said, you're style of saying Venice is very different from others and that's the reason I caught you red-handed. She laughed and said, Congratulations along with two others, Aafia and Simran. She complainingly said, you forget us that is why you didn't inform us. I got to know via Facebook, all your family members were 'congratulating' you over there. I apologized for the blunders. She said, we won't accept it until you'll not come to rendezvous with us. It's been so long that I've not seen your face, we miss you crazily. I miss the days I spent with you, talking about the celebrity crush, making fun of each other and others too, deciding what to wear in your wedding. I started laughing and she said, you found it funny but for me it the best moments with you, do come to meet us all three said and I said, just let me know when and where and I'll be there in front of your eyes smiling and teasing you three and we hung the phone saying buh bye, do take care.

Next day, while Meera was going to back to her home, she said to me, take your time and think about it, we are there to support you in any decision, do take care and be in touch and please do answer my calls because you know, how you are? Cell phone is at one end and you are at one end and hardly answers any call, thank god! You aren't in relationship else the guy will keep calling you and you, as usual lost in your own world. I said nonsense. Just go or else I won't let you go.

Last night, my elder brother told me, you are getting admission either in Mumbai or in Delhi; it's totally your choice. I think both the suggestions are good. If you chose Mumbai then you, me and the craziness we do and if you chose Delhi then the sister's place. I was in a huge dilemma. I wanted to be with mom and all others but meanwhile I remembered I took an oath in front of Sophia and Aisha, if I'll get a seat in Delhi I will chose Delhi instead of Mumbai. I was 80% sure for Delhi and 20% for Mumbai because I too want to be with them again but with mom too. So I thought to ask everybody where and then decide.

I got a call from Siddharth complaining like Zysha, Aafia and Simran, you forget to inform me. I came to know via Facebook and all that what they three said. I apologized to him too. He said, only at one cost. I asked, what is the cost? He said, you have to do rendezvous with me today at 7pm. I said in a shock, what? Today? No way, I'm not. He said no excuses and you have to be there at 7 anyhow and he hung the phone saying see you at 7.

I threw the phone on the sofa and rushed towards my wardrobe, what to wear? I screamed Mom, get me something to wear? She asked why? I said going to meet my school friend 'Siddharth', now will you please get me something to wear. She took out a long pink and grey colored chudidar dress including the grey colored dupatta with pink, blue and green colored designs on it to wear. I said to mom, you are amazingly amazing. She said try to come as early as you can.

I wore the dress along with the dupatta, like always I used to. Along with it, I carried a handbag on my right shoulder which Meera gifted me and the same belle shoe which she gifted me. While I was getting ready, my elder sister said, at least have a kajal in your eyes. I said that wedding night I did it because you forced me to and today there's no need and 'kaunsa main rishta lagane jaari hu'? She said you are an antique piece. I said thank you and left the home.

On my way, I keep thinking what to give him as it's good manners to take something for the person whom you are going to meet and if by chance you didn't take something for them they feel you are etiquette less. So, finally, I got an idea what to take for him.

I reached on the location where he asked me come. I found him standing on the other side of the road. I am very bad in crossing the roads. So I wasn't able to cross the road but somehow, I tried to, I was looking in front and meanwhile I found Siddharth grabbed my right hand in his left hand tightly and took me on the other side of the road. He said have you lost it? Don't you know how to cross the roads? What if something had happened to you? I said if, but look at me, nothing happen to me? He said that because I made you to cross the road with me or else I donno what would had happened? I was like what had happened with him? Why is he reacting like this? It was like a whole new version of Siddharth in front of me which he had upgraded lately. I said sorry, now will please smile? I removed and handed him what I bought for him. He asked what this is. I said open it first. He said a 'Thank You' card for me? I said because you were there in my rough and tough times with me. He lovingly said, I am there for you, forever. I asked where? He said walk with me and no questions please.

I keep walking behind him and we reached at the gate of a restaurant, somewhere near the sea shore. A green carpet spread over all with red rose petals. I was confused and freeze for a moment. He asked to keep walking. I entered in the restaurants find no one else except us. The dim colorful lights, round bright red candles like bomb spread all over the tables. The lovely decoration, beautiful chandeliers on the ceiling and aroma coming from the sea shore.

It was an all-new feeling to me. He asked me to sit and we both sat down instead of doing any formality like pulling chair and saying ladies first because we are friends and I don't believe in all this. I found a bouquet of white sunflowers lying on the table with a greeting card in it. I, without asking or seeking his permission opened the greeting card and it was a really beautiful card, wishing in cursive words 'Congratulations' and below it Siddharth wrote down 'Doctor Ms. Surie Malhotra'. I said with a huge smile on my face, it just a start and stop calling me Doctor. He said be habitual of it from now onwards. I put the card with the envelope and I heard a chiming noise coming from inside the envelope. I lifted the card the envelope up in my hand, removed the card and put the fingers inside to find what it is? I was astonished to see what comes out from inside. I asked him from where you got it. It's my favorite bracelet and I've been searching it for months. He said that wedding night when you wore my watch removed it and handed it to me and then suddenly your sister called you and you forgot to take it back. I nodded my head and said, I remember and why you didn't tell me earlier? He said to surprise you.

Later, the waiter came and starts serving. He ordered for Chinese cuisine, so it was chicken Manchurian dry and gravy too, chicken schzwan fried rice, noodles and soups and in dessert Vanilla ice-cream for me and Chocolate for him. He said it's a small party for 'congratulating' you. While I was getting up from my chair, he asked me to sit and wait for a while. I saw waiter holding tea in his hands. I screamed tea in a cup and saucer. He said you are a tea lover and every meal is incomplete without tea to you. I laughed and said nice research on me, I like it. He winked at me and said 'Anything for you, Ma'am'.

I said to him I'm leaving it's already too late now. He again said wait a sec. I said now what, Siddharth? He bent down on his knees and started telling me, Sorry Surie! But I can't resist you. I was confused and he keeps on telling me that wedding night when I saw you, I fell in love with you. I tried to deny the feeling but I couldn't be. I know I was in love with someone before you but now I don't feel the same for her. I wish! May god bless her and grant her all the happiness. But now I moved on from her.

I wanted to express out my feelings to you earlier but you we're busy with your exam and I don't wanted to distract your attention away from your dream. You are oblivious about how beautiful you? As you are beautiful inside much more beautiful outside. You are the one who not only understands me but believes in me. Whenever I found myself low, you were there by my side. I donno how but I fell for you. Your fell-in-love-with-me eyes keep distracting my attention, your innocent face as beautiful as a child and you're lovely smile is just lovable and you're soft melodious voice, I can sacrifice many sleeps for listening it.

I know I am out of your league and now that you'll be doctor, you'll get many attractive faces to see. You are beautiful and I'm nothing in front of you, you are as pure as water and you're heart too.

You know what? Love is an irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired. You are the one for me and I am very much sure about it and finally he looked at me, during all this time he raised his face towards downwards and confessed.

I looked at him in eyes keep and saw his eyes waiting for me to answer and my eyes filled with tears. I asked him to get up or else your legs will start to pain and after going home, you'll gonna curse me for it. He smiled on me and said, you'll never gonna change and I don't want you to change because I love the way you are, like a small baby in front of me who cries for chocolates.

I smiled back and said, stop it or else I'll gonna cry in front of you and I don't want to. I moved little closer and hugged him as tightly as I can and whispered in his ears YES!
