I rewrote this chapter , changed a bit of a chapter. Do have a look and let me know which version of a chapter is better?

"W-what are you doing here?" He came inside, with bags and his stuff. He doesn't bother to answer and popped in.

"I asked you something! " He smiled at me ." What are you doing here?"

"I told you , I will come." He said while placing his things on the floor.

" NO YOU DID NOT ! Im not angry at his sudden arrival but Im shocked.

"Relax Aleena! " he came near to me . " Are you having fever?" He checked my forehead to confirm.

" Yes bhai Im absolutely fine . Im just shocked. We just talked in the morning and you didn't tell me about your plan."

" Well I called you for it but you were so anxious to do your job rather than listening to me ." He filled a glass of water and drink it. He and his health conscious activities!

" Oh , I see! I mean Im sorry. " I scratched my head in a total embarrassment.

" Its okay leenu , I know how you are! " he washed the glass and put it back into its place. " By the way , you have told me that you'll take leave for a week or so from the job, what were you doing today at your job ? " I wanted to quit but I told Hamza bhai that I'll take a break from everything.

" Not anymore bhai . I know I want to live my dream. There are not many people whose have a chance to do what they want. Im lucky enough to fulfil my dream and I shouldn't be ungrateful one .

"Thats good leenu." He taps my back ." Im so proud of you ." I can see the glime of hope in his eyes." By the way !"

" Yeah ?"

"Is this lovely smell of food for Palwasha's  bday ?"

" Yes" I can smell the rat hamza bhai .

" Wonderful! I'll join with you." He looks so happy. " I meant, Im tired of course but I cant let you do all the hard work by yourself, I'll love to help my mini muffin."He is avoiding eye-contact.

" You can join me bhai . " I picked my the bags ofballons and started blowing them one by one . I turned half of my right side " and I didn't ask for explanation. I know you're my brother and care about me ." I started walking towards the door  to stick some ballons with glitters in them at the frame of the door and giggled a bit. He stood at his place frozen because i got him red handed. There's something going on between the two , most probably some sort of one sided story yet. As I know Hamza bhai is having a lot of interest in Palwasha. Its not like Im not liking it but its like I want my brother to fast-forward a bit and make it official. I will be the luckiest person in the world if I'll have Palwasha as my sister in law !

I opened the door to fix balloons at the  frame of the door and bounced back.

"Daniyal...."

"AssalamoAlikum , " he was standing right infront of my door, his right hand is on the door bell.This is the second time in a day Im seeing him.

"Walikumoassalam. How are you Daniyal?" Hamza greeted him. I stood frozen at my place.

" Im doing great . How are you?" He looked at me intensely and than asked Hamza bhai ."When did you come?" .

" I just arrived." He smiled nervously, trying his level best to seem casual. But he is not. He is here for Palwasha's bday.

But what is Daniyal doing here?

"Oh thats great."  Daniyal replied . He looked at the balloons, sticking tape and a scissor those Im carrying in my hands. " Are you two planning some party? Where's Palwasha? "

" She's on her job."I replied without making any eye contact with him. I dont want him to join us . This is special day for me. I dont want anyone to ruin this, not even him.There's noway that I can allow him to enter in my life after a ridiculous gap of a year. There's a lot of pain that Im still holding in my chest. I haven't forget that he left me when I needed him the most. He didn't do anything to save me from that psychotic monster . I know he doesn't want me anymore but this stupid heart still beats fast mere at the thought of him.

"Its her bday . " he looked at the cake that I placed at the decorated table for a bday girl."You must be going to surprise her , Am I right? " he asked me with all of his senses .

"Yeah! Come join us." Hamza bhai popped out and invited him. I looked at Hamza bhai with a strange  expression.

What did you do bhai?

"I'm not sure if this girl would like me to come." He looked at me with some sort of embarrassment in his eyes.

"Leenu would never mind. Infact she will love it. Right leenu?" STOP CALLING ME LEENU INFRONT OF EVERYONE BHAI. I mentally scolded bhai. Is he really in his senses? I should have told him about us. He thinks that Daniyal is JUST A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE.

" I--" I was about to say something but Daniyal won't let me complete it ." Of course I would love to . " he was smiling and at the same time looking at me with some great joy. " Lets do it together!" He looked at me  soft expression.

" I'll see you in a bit . I'll just have to grab my kurta from the car ." Hamza bhai is bombarding missiles one by one ! "Leenu ask him something to drink or eat,I'll be back in a minute."

Dont tell me , bhai needs to have his new Kurta from 'J.'s" new range of men wear to make his appearance more attractive! Who said that men don't make effort to attract women of their choice?

"Noo !." I slurred it out without even noticing that it will sound rude or Daniyal would think that I may not feel secure in his presence and he would react exactly the same as he did when I was at in his home . " I meant , I'll come with you , I need something to pick from the target ."

" You told me that you have everything you need." Hamza bhai narrowed his eyes ." Are you all right ? "

" Nothing!"Who wants another 15 minutes of interrogation? "Come soon asap, I need you here."

I walked straight toy room which seems more likely a decoration shop, I didn't look at Daniyal. I'm pissed at him , at my brother, at this stupid situation that Im facing .

I shut the door and stood there . My mind isn't working. Daniyal and I are here alone in my apartment ! My stomach is growling and heart is pondering in my rib cage due to his presence. I want to hear his story but Im scared of it , Im scared of his story , from the truth.  I walked towards my bed and picked alphabetical balloons which say 'Happy birthday Palwasha'. Believe me or not , she likes it this way. She wants balloons all over the place along with all the funky stuff . Once I forgot to wish her in a funky or I should say in a cliche way , she got really upset. You dont want to face Don't-fuss-with-me version of Palwasha.

I picked tape along with balloons and other celebrating stuff and opened the door. Im wishing that he is gone and praying he wont go. As I just opened the door , I faced Daniyal , looking deep in my eyes.

"Aleena...." he whispered my name and I lost senses.

" Aleena I..." he stops and I gained senses. "I'll give you coconut water , your favourite." Stupid Aleena , you're not suppose to tell him that you still remembered his likes. " Please take a side."

He stood there . Seems like he is not  listening me . So I stick to wall and made my way out . He seems pretty occupied in his thoughts. I almost run to the kitchen . I opened the fridge, got coconut water . Pour it to glass . I turned back and bumped into hard muscles. 

"Im sorry, I didn't mean that." Daniyal told me with embarrassment. " Are you all right?"
I shrugged his hands off me and ask him for my personal space. " Im fine !" I made my way to lounge room.

"Aleena Im really sorry for everything. I truly am! "

"Not today Daniyal!" I turned half way to the right."Not now!" And I started walking , putting stone on my heart. Im dying to hear but scared of official break up. What if he tell me that he is engaged? What if he tell me he hates me ? What if he tell me that it was a time pass for him? I am not this much strong right now.

I place chair infront of me and jumped to it. I decided to stick balloons and glittering papers to the wall. At that moment , I lost my balance . This time , I will have few fractures and an embarrassment for a life. But Daniyal's strong arms saved me from it . I found myself complete in his arms. It feels like he's a missing piece of a puzzle from me and now he completes me . I see in his eyes , which shows a storm of emotions. His eyes look watery than usual.

" Put me down!"

"What?"

" I said put me down. Not difficult to understand for a normal person this simple sentence." I needed to break this moment. It will cause nothing but a pain.

"Aleena please hear me once." He pleaded.

"Daniyal you are here for Palwasha . Please focus on that. She will be here by any minute. I will be very GRATEFUL if you help me in completing it on time ."

"Im sorry Aleena for everything .I didn't mean to-"

"I got some flowers for the party ." Hamza bhai entered the house. We both are shocked and embarrassed.

" Thank you bhai , You've done your homework very well!" He got merry gold for her as its a sign of marriage. Otherwise who got merry gold for his girl?

He said sorry !

Sorry !

Im sorry Aleena !

Why is he here ? What does he want ?

I stood my head upward and sneaks towards left . He is already looking at me . His eyes are saying so much but Im able to understand none .
