I liked that man. I still don't trust him, but I like him.

I was wide awake. It was the middle of the night after all. I was hungry. I usually wouldn't be this hungry but I can smell the meat in the fridge. It was good when he cooked it but it smelled better when it was raw.

I didn't hear the man lock me in this room so maybe...

I went over and jiggled the handle. It wasn't locked.

I was still stuck in my stupid half-form. I've tried on multiple times to go back to all fours but my body keeps saying no.

I tried to change again and immense pain flashed over my body.

"Okay, Okay," I whispered to myself.

I won't try again. HERE THAT BODY?

My stomach growled in response.

FINE. I'll go sneak the food stupid stomach.

I opened the door glad to hear it didn't creek. I snuck past Shota's room. I thought he would be asleep but I could hear him talking. He was probably talking on the phone. To whom I didn't know.I had already memorized every spot on the floor that creaked so I didn't have any problems walking to the fridge. 

I opened it, smelling the meat. My mind got overwhelmed for a second. I grabbed a large piece of meat and dashed back into the room. I could tell the cats could smell it too. Too bad I was too fast for them. 

I was in the room and had the door closed before the demons could get in. I was so happy. This meat tasted so good. I was gnawing on it. 

...

"How was the first day?"  

It was Nezu over the phone.

"It was good."

Nezu was still on my nerves.

"I need more details than that." 

"Fine. Nezu, he is really smart."

"OOoo do tell."

"I taught him a lot of basic words today and he took it up like he's been in school his whole life." 

"How interesting. I must say, you do know that wolves are nocturnal?"

"Wait?! Like cats?"

"Yes, Shota like big cats. You might want to check on the boy. He might be causing some chaos."

"I've set some rules with him. If he breaks them he knows what happens."

"Yes I saw what you did, very smart I wouldn't have thought of that."

"HOW...nevermind. I don't want to know."

l hung up the phone. 

Now that you mention it. My cats weren't in the room anymore. They haven't left my side since that kid came...

What if the kid?! 

Panicked that my cats were dead. I snuck out of my room and show them sitting outside of the boy's room. 

Why would they do that? I put my ear against his door and heard muffled sounds. 

The kid was clearly awake, but what was he doing? There was nothing to do in his room. 

I wasn't dumb so the next place I check the fridge. Almost half of the meat Nezu gave me was gone. 

HOW IN THE WORLD?

HOW?

There was practically a full-grown elk in that fridge. He had some for dinner but seeing the fridge now it clearly wasn't enough. The meat he's eating is raw.

I shot Nezu a quick text, 'You were right, is it ok for the kid to eat raw meat?'

'If he's eating it then it's probably ok unless he's only been given raw meat his whole life.'

'He did seem confused when I cooked it earlier.'

'Then it's fine.'

I should have told the kid he could eat whatever he wants. Then he wouldn't have sneaked out of his room and got more food. I bet the smell of the food was driving him crazy.

I really am not qualified to do this. 

WHY NEZU! WHY?

My phone buzzed, 'I already told you, you are the only one who can do it.'

How in the WORLD. I was thinking that! I didn't say anything out loud, HOW!

BUZZ, 'HAHAHA, you will never know how I do it

Chills went down my spine as I put my phone back in my pocket. 

He's right I don't want to know. 

I figured it wasn't worth the hassle to go into the kid's room so I went back to my room and fell asleep.

...

I ate way too much and then I went into a food coma. Maybe this place isn't that bad. I went over to the door and cracked it open.  All the demons were sitting there. ALL OF THEM.

I growled at them. If they came closer to me what comes after is not my fault! 

They started hissing. 

REALLY! I could kill them right here and they start hissing! How entitled are these demons?

I tried shifting and I felt my body start to give way. My teeth got longer; my senses sharper.

My eye's started picking up more details. The cats may be hissing but now I could feel their fear. They were about to die. 

I pushed to go full wolve and my body was once again filled with pain. My quirk drawback wasn't relenting.   

WHY DOES IT WANT ME TO BE BOTH!

Once again I was forcefully turned back into the half-monster I was. 

It was worth it because I scared the cats off. 

HA! THOSE PUSSIES

I followed the cats into the kitchen letting them know I was in control. 

"Izuku?" Shota called my name, "Did you just scare my cats?"

They deserved it.

"No, I don't know why they are acting like that."

I felt like a good type of Evil. They cant speak English. HA HA HA.

"Izuku?"

I poked my head around the corner to see the cats guarding him.

"Yes?"

"Do you know what lying is?"

"Yeah, I do."

I had no idea, but he didn't seem happy.

"Can you explain it to me?"

"GRRRr... I don't want to."

"Can you try?"

"GRRRRRRR"

"Kid calm down." I took a step back from him, "Let me explain it to you. I'm not mad. Lying is when you say something that is not true. For example, if I said I had yellow hair that would be untrue so it's called lying."

"So when I said I didn't scare the cats, that's called lying?"

"Yes, it is."

"And that's bad?"

I tilted my head confused. If it gets out of trouble how can it be bad?

"It is bad."

"Why?"

It had saved me from so many beatings. How could it be bad?

"Here is another example. What if you hurt someone by accident. They asked you if you did it and you said no and then said someone else did it on purpose. Instead of them forging you, they go and blame someone who is innocent." 

"If it gets you out of trouble how is it bad?"

I still am not understanding this. I've done that, in his example. That time really saved me.

"Because you might hurt the person who isn't at fault."

"Oh..."

I do remember that person walking with a limb for a week. Was that my fault? 

I felt guilty. Really guilty. 

"Sorry I didn't know that was bad."

"It is okay. Just try to stop yourself next time."

...

"I like him"  I was talking to Nezu over the phone, "He is MINE."

"Eraser! UA adopted him." 

Nezu sounded more amazed then diminishing.

"Can you switch it over?"

"You have had him for one week. Has his quirk drawback ended yet?"

"No... not yet. Have you found him in the systems yet?"

"No... not yet." 

"Ok, then I want to adopt him." 

"Do you think it is real name is, Izuku?"

"I'm not sure. But he was able to tell me his full last name."

"Do tell."

"It's Aizawa."

"..."

".........What! It can't be UA."

"Well... I want you to bring him to UA tomorrow."

"The muzzle is not coming with us."

"I gave up on that. If he bites anyone?"

"He won't..... .... ....... . Ok he might."

"Well..."

"Yah??" 

Nezu sighed, "If he bites anyone we are going to have to detain him."

"I get it. I'll talk to him."

I hung up the phone. I could tell the Nezu was warming up to the boy. He has always been very defensive of his teacher and students of UA.

He was starting to like him. I could tell. 

I am not a dog person, but let me tell you. This kid is not acting like a dog. He's more cat than dog. 

My cats still hate him. 

He's always on edge ready to fight. Just like a cat. He's always hungry, just like a cat. I'm actually kind of worried he's been eating too much. I have a feeling he can't control how much he eats. If there is food, he will eat it. 

One thing that is definitely not cat-like is I found out he loves water, but BIG cats like water well some of them so that doesn't count.

I'm seeing more signs of him becoming less human. Anyday now and his drawback will be gone.

I wonder if he will stay in his half form, human form, or wolf. 

Tomorrow we are going to UA, Let's home his drawback doesn't end tomorrow.
