Automatic House Security System

When I woke up I was laying on some type of rock. I mean tile floor. I was starving. And my throat needed water.

I felt weak.

I opened my eyes to see that I was in a small room. I looked over and saw that this room had a set of washing machines. The soap that was on the high self was a completely overwhelming smell. It was the only thing I could smell.

I got up onto my feet. I just want to sleep more. But I'm too hungry.

There was a small bowl of water on the ground. I walked over to it and started drinking. I must have drank half of it before I stopped. My stomach was happy but now demanding food.

"MOM!"

I heard someone yell.

"DON'T YELL IN THE HOUSE!"

"MOM I HEARD A NOISE I THINK BUCK'S AWAKE!"

"YOU ARE STILL YELLING!"

"SHUT UP HAG."

There was a large crashing sound. And mumbling.

I did not want to be here. I Jumped onto the washing machine that was next to the door. If they open it I can jump over their heads and run away.

LunchRush needs me. I can't leave him.

The size I was in I stayed in. It was the size of a larger dog. Strong, but fast. And my color looked almost like a bug brown dog with black and tints of green.

"Ok. let's check on him. We have to open the door slowly. We don't want to scare him." It was the female's voice. She sounded familiar.

I was crowed down against the wall on top of the machine. The door was slowly opening, just like she said.

Heavens forbid some awful instinct moved the woman's eyes to the washing machine. Her eyes were sharp and landed on me.

I frose.

She was scary.

The smells from the other room crashed into me with the movement of the door.

I knew this smell.

"Bakugou. He's on top of the washing machine."

I looked down and saw the spicy-haired kid.

It. It was Kacchan.

IT WAS KACCHAN!

NO WAY.

My fear was gone. That's Kacchans mom.

KACCHAN!

I thought I yelled his name but realized it came out as a bark.

I jumped down and tackled both of them. These are my friends. These people are trustworthy!

I felt a firm hand grab me by the neck and pull me off of the two.

ITS POPS.

I was so happy. I haven't been this happy for as long as I haven't seen them.

"Hunny?" pops asked, "Why is there a dog in this house? I thought you didn't want a dog."

"I don't. Bakugo found him throwing up blood."

"CAN WE KEEP HIM!"

"No!" Both of them said at the same time.

I was too happy to care what they were talking about. I pulled out of his grip and rushed to Kacchan. I jumped up knocking him down. He grabbed my fur and started rubbing it. It felt like old times when we would wrestle.

"That's a friendly dog." Bakugos's mom said.

"He sheds like a monster?" He held up his hand, to show that my fur was all over him.

Bakugou was just laughing on the ground. I went over and sat on top of him.

"Do you think he knows commands? He doesn't have a collar. He could be a street dog." The husband asked quietly.

"Come," Mistki said with the same fierce eyes.

I didn't care what she was saying. I'm not leaving kacchan ever again.

She tried again but with a meaner voice. I looked away.

"Mom bribe Buck with food."

"Treat?"

My head snapped at Mistki? Did she really think that would work? Then I felt my stomach growl. I think they all heard it.

"Are you hungry?"

I was about to shapehift when Bakugou hugged me, "I've always wanted a dog."

My heart froze.

What am I doing here?

They are happy here. If they knew that I wasn't dead they would all feel guilty.

What if they pushed me away if they found out?

Both of Bakugou's parents sighed when their kids talked. They must have lived throw years of begging to get a pet.

Bakugou scrambled away and I followed him into the other room. He opened the fridge and got a big container of lunch meat out of it. He opened it and gave me a handful.

I basically inhaled it.

This time he hell a peace and told me to sit.

What am I a pet?

Oh. I am a pet to him. I'm just a dog.

I didn't care enough not to sit though. This was kacchan.

He dumbed out the rest of the meat.

His parents walked in only registering too late when I had the last piece of meat in my mouth.

"You said this dog was sick. He seems fine now."

"I don't know."

"I change my mind his name is Mudder Explosion king."

What kind of name is that?

"This dog looks dangerous." Mister Bakugous said.

This only furthered my opinion not to tell them. I was dangerous. If they ever found out what I have done they would never talk to me again. I've hurt people. I'm a killing machine. I'm never telling them.

"That's only because he has blood around his mouth."

A wave of shame it me. It was Shota's blood.

"Honey? Did you just defend Explosion king?"

"Did you just call King by his name?"

There was silence. All three thought about what was said.

"If mom says his name is King then there is nothing we can do about that."

"KING. I HAVE A DOG!" Kacchans voice cracked with how excited he was.

I just want Lunch Rush.

"No. no. no. no. no. no. That is not what I meant." She was trying to correct herself, "We can keep him until we find his owners. We need to take him to the shelter to see if they can help us. Bakugou, since he likes you so much wash the blood off of his face."

...

They are making me sleep in the laundry room. They locked me up in here when they ate dinner. I jumped on top of the table and snagged something really tasty off a plate and then I was dragged into this room.

I'm in my right mind to just open it. It's not a nob handle it's like a sideways stick. I could get out of here so easily.

I passed back and forth. This was not far they are treating me like an animal. But being treated as an animal is better than being human. They came in a couple of times and I heard them talking about why I might be sick. They even called some people and at one point they pushed the door open and took a picture of me. They let me outside to use the bathroom, but no way am I doing that.

I heard them as they all got ready for bed. One by one I could feel that they were asleep. I waited for an hour before I shifted and went out of the room.

Everything thing here was smaller than I remembered.

I walked over to the fridge and pulled out their meat for their freezer. They also had some fruits I grabbed them too.

After I ate everything I was going to dip. I want to go to the woods.

These people don't need to know it's me.

I went to the front door opening it.

"Front door open."

My blood froze as a voice rang out when I opened the door. It scared me so bad I popped into my real form.

I looked everywhere but there was no one. No one was here. I heard footsteps coming down from upstairs and I panicked. I went to bolt out of the door only to release that It had slightly closed when the voice scared me. So instead of running out, I head-butted the door close.

"Front door closed."

The same robot voice said.

A little screen lit up on the wall.

Was the box talking? Was it watching me? Does it know?

The light above me came on and all three were standing there.

"Did he open the door?" Mitsuki shocked.

"But he just closed it. I watched him." Masaru looked at me. With that same odd look, he use to give me.

"King is the coolest dog ever."

Scared I bolted back into the laundry room.

How could a simple escape plain fail this badly?

"Katsuki go back to bed." His father said.

After he slowly went back into his room. His parents stood over me.

"He can clearly leave this room."

"I don't want him wandering around the house at night."

"Let's put him in our bathroom in our room. We can lock that door. And our door."

With that, Masaru picked me up and carried me right into their upstairs bathroom. Locking me in it.

I was too stunned to do anything.

The talking door/box stopped me from leaving.

...

"He has to go," Mitsuki said angrily, "I don't even understand."

In the night I had opened the door, not the room door, the closest door. They had a bunch of shelves in there and I shifted climbed them and shifted back. They panicked when they didn't find me in the morning.

Mitsuki yelled words I didn't even know existed when I jumped down right next to her.

"Dogs don't climb." She finished.

"According to.." Her husband began but stopped when he saw her sharp eyes, "yeah... dogs don't climb."

There was a loud knock on the front door. They both looked at me expecting something. The knock came again.

"Whoever trained this dog was weird. Doesn't bark at the door, climbs, slightly green."

"MOM! There is a hobo at the door!" Katsuki yelled.

My blood froze.

Yah no.

I turned around and hide in their clothes.

"HE LOOKS MEAN!" He yelled again.

That is another no for me. I'm not coming out. I am not even here.

Both of them went downstairs. And then I heard muffled talking and four came upstairs into the bathroom. Two feet from where I was hiding.

I heard a tired voice grumble out three words, "Come out here."

Yeah, I'm not showing you where I am.

"He's under my clothes right there. By my blouses."

I don't like her anymore. She is mean. Bossy. Sharp-eyed.

"Izuku."

Hearing my name I was lost.

"His name is Izuku?" All the Bakugos said but in different ways.

I rushed out not wanting him to say anything else.

"Is Izuku in trouble?" Katsuki said, with sad repetition in his voice.

"No, he isn't," Shota said.

I was surprised but too ashamed to look at him.

"Does this mean we can't keep him?" Katsuki was sad.

He walked up to me and hugged my neck. He forced my face up when he hugged me so it was turned up at them. I moved my eyes anywhere but where he was.  I looked at his hand and saw a new scar. There were two on his hand now. Two from me.

I couldn't look at him.

"Sorry bud, but he's not meant to be a house pet."

I did the shameful walk towards him.

We walked downstairs and we stopped at the door.

"Thank you for taking care of him, and posting a found dog on the internet." Shota handed them something from the palm of his hand.

"Oh no, we don't need this."

"Don't worry about it."

For the second time Shota was there Bakugo ran up to me and hugged me. I saw the rise in his eyebrow but he didn't say anything and I let him hug me.

He opened the door.

"Front door open."

I jumped again. Growling at the air.

When the front door closed and after we walked back to the park, where I passed out at. I shifted back.

I couldn't figure out if I should say anything so I didn't.

Shota put his hands on my shoulders, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Sorr...hmm. Was lunch Rush worried about me?"

"We were all worried."

"Let's go back."

"UA?"

"No, let's go back to your place."

"Our home?"

"I want to go home."
