"This late?" Aidan asks when he peers out the window to see that it was dark

"Why not? It's nice out tonight!" She smiles at him and he melts, not being able to resist her.

"Mum, dad, me and (y/n) are going for a walk!" he yells out into the house before the couple runs off, out of the house laughing softly as they ran down the empty road together like a bunch of misfits.

The night was quiet and beautiful, a cool breeze rustling through the trees. They played music on their phones while they walked together, singing together for some time and just enjoying the open air. It suddenly starts raining and the couple panics, trying to find some shelter to avoid being soaked and they rush to huddle beneath a tree. Another song starts playing, the rain pouring down around the couple as the song echoes around them beautifully.

There was a sweet smell in the air, a tranquil quiet moment and (y/n)'s heart pounded. This was a moment she never had experienced before, hesitantly stepping out from beneath the tree as she rose a hand up to feel the water. It was cold but refreshing, taking more steps forward until she was completely out in the rain and she gasps.

Aidan watched with wide eyes as his love jumped around in the rain, finally freeing her trapped childhood self. He smiles softly with so much love for her as she found her old self that she thought had left her behind, spinning around in the rain and squealling happily out in the rain as she sang to the music.
