Aidan showed (y/n) what to do, carefully showing her how to chop the pumpkin after she peeled it. He held her hands to guide her, telling her to take it slow at first when it comes to chopping the sage and the onions. She put the pumpkin into the bowl with the sage and a tablespoon of oil, not liking how she had to get her hands dirty so she used a spoon to toss the ingredients around.

"You have to get a little dirty when cooking (y/n). Come on, get in there." He muses as his girl scrunches her nose in distaste but follows his instructions before scattering the pumpkin and sage into a tin to roast in the oven. He started making the risotto while his girl washed her hands, pulling her over after to show her what to do next. With the stock boiling on a low simmer, she melts half the butter in a separate pan on medium heat while adding the onions, the rice and the wine. "Now add a ladle of the stock we were simmering. One by one into the rice while stirring it."

"Ok." He gently tucks her hair behind her ears as he stood behind her, watching how concentrated his girl was to listen to him until they finally played the risotto after stirring it through the pumpkin purée he mashed when the pumpkin was done. He enjoyed how excited she was to make something on her own, even if it was with his help, setting the plates down on the table to try it. "How is it?" She asks him nervously and he takes a bite, smiling at how wonderful it tasted.

"Perfect."

"Don't lie to me." She takes a bite too and blinks in surprise. "Ok, yeah it actually tastes good."

"I told you." Aidan smiles, feeling proud of (y/n)'s amazing first try. The couple finished their meal and he stands up to clear the table, kissing his girl's cheek. "Thank you for tonight." She smiles at him, moving to help clean the tables but he tells her to relax and put on a film while he cleared everything away. He finished in no time and settled down next to his girl who moves to lean into him. "You know, you poke your tongue out when you're concentrating."

"Do I?" She hums in surprise, still focused on the film.

"It's cute." Aidan grins, pinching (y/n)'s cheek lightly and she swats his hand away making him laugh lightly, pulling her close in his arms.

Aidan yawns lightly as he opened the hotel room door, walking in quietly when he heard (y/n) talking on the phone loudly. He walked in to greet her silently but stops short when he sees her standing by his table with her arms crossed and a serious look on her face. He flusters when he sees her in dark flared pants and white skin-tight crop top with her hair tied up in a bun like she had just come home from her outing. She looked so annoyed and frustrated, a sneer on her face. He gulps when she moved to sit down on his office chair with her legs spread out, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"How many times have I told you to call him!? Or text him! He keeps calling me over and over again and I don't pick up cause my data isn't on and you don't pick up cause your silence is always on! No not just ok! You always do this! I have told you so many times to tell him if you're getting picked up or not then he doesn't have to waste his time! Tell him straight away when Maa tells you cause you ALWAYS DO THIS!"

She's hot when she's angry...

The brunette stands still, afraid to move while his girl continued being a boss as she ends the call and calls someone else. She sighs in annoyance as her head was in her free hand, sitting up straight when her call was answered.

"Hi, this is (y/f/n). How are you? God thanks. I was calling about whether or not you have any shifts for me for the upcoming weeks? I'm in the Events team and I haven't received any emails from you guys for any work whatsoever."

She changed real quick from anger to customer service voice wow...

Aidan was impressed, (y/n) noticing him when she stands up and she nods up to him in a greeting as she paced. "Yes I understand I'm casual but is there really nothing happening? Another employee that works for you has also called you many times about shifts. This is unacceptable. Yes, she was the one that mentioned me to the boss. Yes, ok I expect the emails. Thanks." She groans out as the phone call ends, chucking her phone on the bed and dropping down in the seat to swerve around and face her laptop. She was furiously typing away at her laptop all of a sudden and the brunette was worried.

"Too many things happening?" He whispers as he walks up from behind her, his arms around her neck as he hugged her gently and leans his chin on top of her head.

"Yeah. Just out of nowhere it's just things I need to fix one after the other. Dad got pissed cause he wasted his time to pick up my sister from school when mum already got her, I'm not getting work from my second job, my fucking school email got hacked and dad wants me to fix my resume to send it to a friend of his to get a government position job. Why did it have to be today...?"

"Hey, you can relax today." Aidan grabs the arm of the chair and pulls (y/n) back away from her desk even if she complains to him. He turns her around to see her lean her head in her hand with a tired expression. "Two objectives are done out of the four I'm guessing. Correct?" She nods. "And did you send the email about your school email being hacked?"

"No not yet..."

"Easy. Only two tasks left to do."

"My main job hasn't paid me for one of my weeks. I need to check up with them..."

"Well, add that to the list of things to get done. Let's get the easy task over and done with first. Email about the hack."

"Ok..." he lets his girl send that email.

"Now all we have to do is wait and they'll fix it on their end. Nothing you need to worry about right?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"Perfect. Now only two things left. Is there an urgency for the resume?"

"No... not really. Dad's friend didn't email me yet."

"Ok, we can do that last. Do you think you can tick off the call with your job about your pay while I shower?"

"Yeah, I think so."

"Good. After that, we'll go out for a breather. The resume can wait tomorrow."

"But-"

"-no buts." Aidan smiles, pulling (y/n) up by her arms and squishing her cheeks so her lips pucker a bit. "We'll go out for something sweet. My treat. Ok?"

"Ok..." her voice muffled and he grins, moving to grab his things and shower while his girl completed the last task. When he got out, she had ended the call with her job that told her they would look into her week's missing pay. "All done. They said they'll check."

"That's my girl." He praises and she flusters immediately. "Let's have that treat now yeah?" She nods sheepishly and lets him take her hand so they head outside. "What do you want to have?"

"Something warm."

"Waffles? There's a pastry store nearby that sells chocolatey things."

"Ooo! Yeah let's go!"

Aidan chuckles lightly and leads (y/n) to the store, sitting down in the far back booth before ordering waffles with melted chocolate and strawberries to share. He gets up from his side of the booth and decides to sit down next to his girl on her seat, wanting to be with her and she nuzzles against his shoulder with a soft yawn. He raises the menu and opens it to block the both of them when he lowers his mask, kissing her cheek and her nose. The waiter comes back and he puts everything back to how it was, their waffles set in front of them with two separate bowls of melted chocolate.

"Thank you for this. Usually, I can handle multiple things at once alright, but this is really nice." His girl sighs happily and he beams knowing she was feeling better, the two of them eating their equal share of the waffles.

"It's good to just take a breather every now and then, go outside to take a walk or just sit down somewhere." He says.

"Can we do this more often?"

"Of course, we can. You don't have to ask." The couple finishes off their waffles and decides to go take a quick walk around the park nearby, holding hands and relaxing in each other's presence before slowly heading home heh the sun starts to set.
