The boat soon docks on the island and Aidan and (y/n) head down to exit, walking out with other families that seem to be heading in the same direction as them. There were a couple of families here and there but nothing too busy.

"Woah..." (y/n) was amazed by the beach houses on the large island, a beach shower separating the land from the water, multiple stores and small businesses selling their products. It was like its own little city. "Where do we leave our stuff?"

"There's a locker area but some people just keep their stuff out." Aidan receives a look of disbelief from his 'friend', heading straight for the lockers instead.

Wow, guess she has trust issues...

He shrugs and follows her, the two of them booking a locker each to put their things away for a couple hours. He clears his throat as he looks away with flushed cheeks when she shoves her phone in her bra, knowing that the bottom half of their clothes was going to be soaked.

(Y/n) came prepared, exchanging her shoes with slippers, wearing tights with a baggy shirt and a cap. It wasn't as sunny out but the breeze was warm so she wasn't too stressed about sunscreen. She followed Aidan to the pop-up store with canoes stacked up, the both of them paying for their own canoe.

"Do you need help getting in?" He calls out to her when he notices her pausing by the shore, wondering how to get in without falling in.

"Maybe?" She gives him a sheepish look but he was happy to help. Making sure his glasses and hat stay on, he holds down the canoe and holds her hand to help her in. He holds his breath from how tightly she held his hand, squeezing hers back affectionately before pushing her canoe out onto the water after she gave him the all-clear. "Thank you!" She yells out to him. "What about you!?"

"I'll be fine!" He chuckles, getting in with ease and rowing beside her. "Oh, you do know how to use a canoe?" He snickers and she splashes him lightly.

"Of course I do! Let's go!" She eagerly rows away with him following her along, the both of them travelling between the islands and around other people until they were out in a clear area.

Aidan laughs when she hears (y/n) singing loudly, raising her paddle up above her and he joins her. "Castaways! We are castaways!" The two have a race against each other, bumping into each other's canoes like bumper cars or splashing the other with the paddle.

"Oi!" The girl gasps when her friend pokes her cheek with the wet paddle, smacking it away with hers and gently hitting him on the head with it.

"That's it! You're capsizing!" He smirks, pushing against her side gently to fake trying to push her into the water.

"Look what he's doing to me!" She gasps, having been filming most of the time-like she has since the very beginning of coming to Seattle for the first time-and she zooms into him trying to shove her into the water. "If I drown it's your fault!"

"You have a life jacket (y/n)! You'll be fine!"

Aidan and (y/n) continue to row across the water while the patters phone played songs loudly for the two of them. They docked back on the shore when their time was up, the brunette helping his 'friend' out of the canoe.

"Shit!" Her foot gets caught and she stumbles into his arms and he catches her, the both of them blushing from how close they were before separating quickly. "Thanks..."

"No problem..." he rubs his neck sheepishly, the both of them walking off after dropping their canoes off, grabbing their bags and changing into some fresh clothes.

Aidan got dressed quickly, waiting outside the changing rooms for (y/n) and he falters seeing her come out in a long floral dress. She was drying her hair with a small towel, smiling at him and hiding the fact her heart raced seeing how handsome he looked in his shorts and soft floral shirt.

"Hey, we're matching." He clears his throat, trying to break the tension and she nods.

"Yeah, who knew wearing floral was so popular." She jokes, nodding to the shady trees. "Wanna go eat?"

"Yeah. Let's go." They take a spot under a random tree to eat together and take in the calm view while videoing the place.

Aidan was vlogging-like he always has no matter where he was-and (y/n) watched him speak so eloquently into the camera, admiring how he was a natural like he was speaking to an actual person. He was shy and didn't pause, he went with the flow of his thoughts and she admired that. That wasn't something she could do, she needed a script just to not sound awkward in front of a camera. She couldn't handle people seeing her through a camera since she wasn't photogenic-her words-so she liked posting landscape stuff or group photos.

No, (y/n) didn't post anything at all from Seattle, she was extra cautious to not provide content of where she was in case someone linked Aidan to her. She showed her friends yes but nothing with him in it. She didn't want to cause him any problems with his fans.

He was the same. He would take videos of her secretly just for his own keepsake but would make sure she wasn't in his YouTube videos for her own safety, not even her voice would be in it-not like she spoke while he vlogged, she was respectful to not ruin his footage.

"Say hi to the camera (y/n)." Aidan grins when he catches her eating a sandwich and she blocks her face while he chuckles. "Come on, not even a wave?" She rolls her eyes at him with a smile but lowers her hand anyway to wave before covering her face. "She's camera shy."

"And I looked ugly being shot through any digital means!"

"No, you don't!" He gasps, completely offended before standing up to video her properly. "You look amazing!"

"Boi stop, I'm not wearing any makeup!"

"So? We guys are dumb. We can't tell if you're wearing any or not. We'll think you're beautiful anyway."

"Yeah fat chance." She scoffs at herself but he frowns at her words. "Just sit down and eat before everything gets cold."

"We can save those later if you're up to not going home yet." He says, putting his camera away.

"Oh, where do you want to go next?"

"We can go to a beach? Watch the sunset."

"Yeah, I'm down!"

"Let's pack up and catch the next ferry. They take a while to come so we don't want to be late." The two quickly pack up, heading to the docks again.

"I have a spare bag if you need to put your wet clothes away." (Y/n) says, taking out the bag since Aidan was holding his wet clothes. "Here." She takes his clothes and puts them in the bag, holding it for him even though he protested he was ok to carry it. "You got the picnic basket. Chill it's not heavy." She grins at him before boarding the ferry when it arrives. They decide to sit below the top deck away from the sun, the girl taking out two cans of Red Bull. "Want one?" The brunette shakes his head, taking out his deconstructed iced coffee. "Damn! Look at you building your coffee on the go!" He chuckles in amusement as she watches him make his coffee into his cup filled with ice, pouring in the liquid-brewed coffee and a small carton of oat milk.

"Cheers." He grins at her, clinking their drinks together and quickly taking a drink.

"I always forget to take a drink and my friend complains. She says if you say cheers and don't take a sip of your drink, your sex life gets bad luck." Aidan chokes on his coffee lightly, looking at (y/n) who was laughing lightly.

"That's one I've never heard before." He clears his throat, his ears turning pink.

"Yeah I don't know if it's true but I do it anyway for her." She says, taking a sip of her energy drink since she knew she was going to start getting sleepy seeing as she was yawning. The brunette was going over his footage and he let her watch with him until they dock onto the pier. They got off the ferry and headed to the car, putting everything in the back and settling into their seats before they drove off.

Aidan glanced over every now and then to see (y/n) looking out the window with a soft smile, like she was so relaxed and in the moment and it made him smile. The drive wasn't too long and he parks the car, thankful that it was empty so they didn't have to wear their disguises since this beach spot was something he found on his own, like a secret area he would go to on his bike to relax.

"It's beautiful here!" She gasps as she runs out of the car, taking her slippers off and running over to the beach. She waddled over the hot sand, muttering over and over again how it was hot and he chuckles at how adorable she was. "Damn, if only I had a bucket." She mutters, sitting down on the sand near an area where the water sloshes near her so she could start building a sandcastle.

"What are you doing?" He asks her, leaning down next to her as she attempts to build something remotely of a castle.

"I don't know." She shrugs, smashing the building before forming a sand snowman. "I don't have a bucket so here, a sand snowman!"

"Is that your equivalent to a snowman since you don't get snow?" Aidan jokes and (y/n) gasp, gently shoving him so he falls to sit down.

"You ass! But yes." He chuckles and makes a sandman with her, picking them up to set them down next to each other on a rock to overlook the ocean.

"They look like they're on a date! How cute!" She takes photos of the sandmen like they were on a date watching the sun set, the brunette flushing lightly when she mentioned that. He raises his camera to video her while she was preoccupied, taking in the happiness on her face as she sat down next to the sandmen to watch the sunset as well.

Aidan lowers the camera to look at (y/n), his heart flipping at how lovely she looks with the colours of the sunset lighting her face. He quickly takes out his phone and takes a picture of her from a distance, saving this image of her forever.
