Radhika decided to visit Sam, since the day of engagement she had been worried about Sam and her future . Piyali greeted and guided Radhika to Sam's room. Radhika didn't miss the worried lines on the faces of the family.

''Sam!'' That made Sam open her eyes.

''Will you lock the door please'' Sam said and Radhika obliged

''How are feeling now Sam.'' Radhika asked worried. Sam threw her blanket off and sat up straight, ''Do you have any idea why that stupid man stood me up on engagement?'' Radhika didn't knew if to answer Sam or ask her if she was faking being sick.

''Ask me Chashni?'' Sam bought Radhika out of her thoughts.

''Why?''

''Because some guruji said I am unlucky and when they were coming for my engagement , a black cat crossed their path. Not just this, there has been serious ill omens happening since he agreed to marry me. '' Sam stared at Radhika waiting for her to respond. Radhika processed all , a realisation dawned on her face. She locked her eyes with Sam and unanimously they spoke, ''Neil!''

''My god! I never knew he could be such a big jerk.'' Radhika exclaimed 

''This is nothing , I know he can do a million more things. I am going to smash him for this.''  Sam replied locking her punch with other palm.

''So this was for him''

''Exactly!''

''Are you happy that engagement din't happen.''

''Doesn't matter! Infact, nothing matters now. I have turned my heart into a stone. But This doesn't mean Neil has the right to interfere in my life. I will make him pay.''

''what do you want me to do?'' Radhika asked

''Handle BS for sometime. I will have to carry on with my drama for some more time till he begs for forgiveness.''

''Do you trust me Sam? I mean you know he is my cousin.''

''Your relationship was born a few days ago. Our friendship is older than that.'' They smiled at each other before Sam went back to her gloomy state and Radhika stepped out excited about some fun entering her life.

 Arjun sat with Anya talking to her nonsense while Anusha sat in Nandini's lap excited as Nandini showed her different pictures in the book. Arjun pecked Anya and she attacked his face ready to eat it up. ''Hey stay away from my husband's face, that belongs to me.'' Radhika teased her daughter. Anya blinked , attacked Arjun with double enthusiasm not allowing him to even speak. 

''Hey move back. he belongs to me.'' Radhika teased further throwing an arm around Arjun's neck and that earned her a loud angry scream making all laugh. Radhika  moved to Anusha , ''did you learn something or just getting spoiled.'' 

Anusha squealed beating the book, ''Okay you don't want to study.'' Radhika tickled her. She squealed loudly earning a peck from her mother.

''How is Sam?'' Arjun asked. Radhika quickly got into the role, she huffed deep , made a serious face and replied, ''Heart broken! Its so unfortunate.''

Nandini nodded in agreement bur Arjun's brow went up. He could easily see through her drama. he smiled shaking his head. Adjusting Anya he leaned forward to peck Anusha to be attacked again, ''I guess this is the best attack in the world.'' he said smiling at his daughters.

''It is! This one is going to be an angel and that one is going to be a rowdy.'' Radhika concluded

''And why Anya would be a rowdy.'' Nandini sounded offended

''Because she is exactly like me.'' Radhika concluded making all laugh. Nandini lifted Anusha up, ''Radhika , did you get their weight checked? ''

''I did di. Rajeev says they are fit, they gained 400gms.''

''That's too low.'' Arjun concluded but before he could say a word more, Nandini and Radhika handed him the chart indicating the growth and parameters. He just nodded as two females mocked him. 

''I am going to meet Neil and then Bhai.'' Radhika informed. She was mad at both of them, Neil for hurting Sam and Ankush for not meeting her first. Arjun decided to stay back as he had no plans in getting punched while saving his friend from his wife.

He followed Radhika back to their room, moving forward he hugged her from behind, ''WOW! What do you want Anya's daddy?''

''How about you!''

''Hmm... but let me check if you are worth my attention''

Arjun frowned, ''After two daughters you want to know if I am worth?''

''Why not! Mistakes can be corrected any time. Its just the matter of realisation.'' She replied serious. 

His jaw dropped, ''and when did you realise this mistake.''

''yesterday night, when you were teleconferencing with that US based guy.He is so yummy.'' Arjun was definitely out of words, so he lifted her up, dumped her on the bed locking her beneath him, ''Please don't transfer your sense of humour to my girls. I might seriously need a super computer with that speed. '' He joked and she laughed. Arjun watched her with an affectionate smile. She noticed his eyes on her, throwing her arms around him she pulled him closer, ''don't worry, even if you are not perfect I will manage.'' He smiled and started tickling her. She doubled up with laughter, leaning closer he kissed her deep. '' Once our girls are 3 , we will plan another baby.'' Radhika frowned , pushing him hard she sat up, ''Arjun Mehra , if you don't want to get banned from my bedroom, better don't talk about another kid.''

He quickly lifted his palms in defeat, she looked serious, ''May I ask why?''

''Because your girls keeps me on toes when they can't walk and talk. I wonder if I have to fly once they start walking.'' Arjun stayed quiet, instead he laughed imagining Radhika flying all over the house chasing the girls. She kept questioning him but he kept rolling all over . She finally got irritated and kicked him before marching towards the changing room.

Nandini smiled when Rajeev waved at her. He walked past the tables approaching her with a smile. ''How are you Doctor.''

''I am good and how are you?''

''Good!'' She replied ordering both a cup of coffee each.

''Rajeev, why don't you move forward.''

''Its not that easy! And I don't want to. I have beautiful memories of my wife and my son, I can live with that.''

''How long ? One day you will feel alone.'' Nandini reasoned

''Same goes with  you. Don't you feel alone?'' He threw the ball back to her 

''No, I have Arjun , Radhika and two wonderful girls. My family is complete.'' She meant but for some reason she couldn't meet his eyes

Rajeev smiled, ''Will you move forward with me?'' The question left her shocked. She shook her head, ''its late for me.''

''So is for me''

''I can't give you any happiness.''

''Because you still are in love with the man who....'' He closed his eyes to control his anger. Nandini kept her palm over his, ''I don't love him, not anymore but I scared to risk my emotions again.''

''I need a friend Nandini, nothing more. You know me since we were kids. When I met you after all those years, a hope happened in me. Please don't break it.''

''I should leave!'' Nandini picked her bag and walked out, a little shocked and lost at sudden turn of events.

Sam paced her room recalling everything she went through in past few days. She never asked for it yet she became the target. She shook her head, someone had rightly said about being pushed around for no reason if not checked in the right time. 

Sam was done, with everyone and everything. Neil for blaming her , his mother for labeling her and her family for pushing the marriage on her. She decided to deal with one at a time. Switching her laptop, she searched for Soniya on FB and dropped her message with her number. As expected , she called in few hours.

''All fine Sam.''

''NO! Are you still engaged to Neil Soniya?''

Somiya was baffled at the questions, yet she answered, ''I am! The marriage got postpone for few months due my course. Why do you ask.''

Sam smiled, ''Because he has been pestering me with the proposal for months now. He even conspired to break  my engagement off. I don't understand the reason for the same IF HE IS STILL ENGAGED TO YOU.''

Sam knew she had hit the right chord as silence stretched for more than required, ''Why should I believe you?''

''I never asked you too. Its your wish but don't blame me like others for breaking up your relation with Neil. It was my job to tell you and I have done that.'' Sam disconnected least affected by the outcome. Neil had dragged her into the tight spot every time and now she was going to drag him to mud.

 She quickly got into the bed when heard a knock on the door. Manya peeped in, ''Do you have a minute Sammy.''

''Sure!''

''Sammy what do you think of Neil's cousin?

Sam gave a confused expression, ''Radhika?''

''No..Ankush. The tall guy an yes he is Radhika's older brother.''

''What about him?'' Sam asked doubtful

''We like each other. Do you think families will agree.'' Sam wanted to disappear forever. If Neil was a pain, her sister falling for his cousin was going to sore her brain. She was aware even if Rahika's family agrees, Prerna won't let them. Radom thoughts started clouding her brain and Sam started coughing, Manya got worried and offered her a glass of water. She left the room asking Sam to rest and latter took the offer readily. Sliding down into the bed, Sam pulled the comforter over her head. Situation just got better.

Ankush sat looking from one girl to another. ''Aren't they cutest of all you have ever seen?'' Prerna asked, he grinned wide nodding in agreement. he extended his arms , the ever friendly Anya refused but Anusha accepted the invitation. 

''How are you choti?''

''I am good but next few moments will not be good for you''

He huffed, ''I stayed because Bua insisted , if you don't shut up I will let her deal with you.'' That worked ans radhika turned mute. Ankush shook his head when he saw how soon she changed her colours going all sweet.

Radhika asked for Neil and walked straight into his room, she wanted to give him nicely for bothering Sam instead found him disturb holding his head, ''Now what?''

''Sam called Soniya and told her everything. Now they will push me to get married as soon as possible. What was she thinking?''

''What were you thinking Neil? You can't just get engaged and then chase your ex! You ruined her and her family's reputation by sabotaging her engagement. Why play games neil? f you want her, fight the odds. You have no right to stop Sam if you can't change the things around you.''

''Which side you are ?''

''Sam! There is no question about it. Now, stop counting the members in the sides and start looking for a solution. From where I see, you are in soup Mr neil Melhotra.'' radhika left the room walking away. Neil sat in his room lost in his thoughts, he was not going to get married to Soniya that was for sure. Radhika was right, he had to clear the mess at his end before appraoching Sam again
