Radhika stood watching Nandini and Rajeev laughing at her daughters antics. Her babies loved their badi maa who would pamper them endlessly . Rajeev, who had grown fond of two girls had started visiting often but Radhika knew better. The way Rajeev looked at Nandini made the picture cleared.

''I am leaving for work.''

''what are your thoughts about Di and Rajeev.''

''They are friends.''

''They can be more.''

Arjun froze, ''You need to rest that brain a bit.'' His voice came strong and angry. Radhika looked at him surprised, she hadn't expected him to retaliate this way. He glared at Rajeev who sat unaware of Arjun thoughts. After a moment he walked off. Radhika decided to talk to him later.

Arjun's mood deteriorated as the day progressed. If he was possessive about his wife and daughters, he was equally possessive about his sister. She was the mother figure in his life and he wasn't ready to share her with anyone. 

''Come in.'' Arjun answered the small knock.

''Sir, Chirag is here. I tried to dissuade him but he is in't ready to leave.'' Arjun frowned. Now what did Chirag wanted. Since he had decided to mend his ways , he had broken all ties with Chirag and his promise to bring BS down. He gestured his assistant to let Chirag in.

''You forgot me  friend.'' Chirag complained. Arjun didn't reply  waiting for the door to be closed

''What brings you here?''

''You refused to answer my calls.''

''You aren't my wife or family or business associate that I should be obliged to answer your calls.'' Arjun replied bored. The meter of his temper was going up and Chirag's words were adding fuel to it .

''We had a deal. You promised,  you would help me in boosting my company Sumudhra by bringing BS down.''

''I decided not to. So?'' Arjun asked challenging Chirag. The latter smiled then laughed, ''Arjun Mehra, I get what I want and I don't forget the ones who betray me.  Moreover, you are not alone now. I don't have any bad intentions but what if someone else was there in my place. Arjun, you are father of girls...girls. You should think about them before going to your old ways.''

Arjun twisted his neck, with a jerk he pushed his chair back , walked around the table and pulled Chirag up by his collar throwing him against the wall. Arjun took of his jacket and rolled his sleeves waiting for Chirag to get up and when he did, Arjun punched his face hard. His punches didn't stop till Chirag begged.

Grabbing him by collar, Arjun pushed him against the wall, ''Just because I am being civilized, everyone seemed to have forgotten who am I and what I can still do. I would have asked you for refreshments and  would have thought about being a good host but how dare you bring my girls in all this. You think I am incapable of protecting them? Then go try your luck, next time you will be dead.'' With that he threw Chirag against the door. 

He took in deep breaths to control his anger. The incident jut made him little more crazy about his beloved kids and all he had.

''I though you would kick my butt.'' Neil said as they walked along following the tourist guide.

''I wanted to, everyday and every minute. I wanted to spank your butt so hard that it would be difficult for you to sit for at least a month. For days I dreamt about breaking all your bones and you lying on my feet, begging.''

''Quite an imagination.'' They laughed. Neil took a moment, ''Then why didn't you do it. May be , things would have been better and I wouldn't have been chasing you around the globe.''

Sam halted, ''you still don't get it. Chashni send me on this trip because I wasn't able to process my thoughts back home. My parents, your engagement, Prerna aunty, my stupid engagement . Everything was so overwhelming. I was so hard on myself , I was ready do all to forget you and in that process , I missed you more.'' Neil smiled

Sam took few steps away from him, ''The day you took over BS, I lost it completely. No one but Chashni understood that. This trip was her away to give me the much needed break and she held you back so that this distance induces fear in you. After a day or two of my trips, I realised that I over reacted. It was all so dramatic. Even if Prerna aunty was mad at me, I could have tAken it quietly. Understood her, she had always been good and loving. But I just lost my head."

"So did I but must say, my cousin is smart."

"No, my best friend."

"But I am your best friend " he replied with a pout. Sam pecked it

" You lost the place to your amazing cousin." He pretended being hurt but drama had to end when the guide reprimanded them for wasting his and other tourist time.

Arjun walked in the house full of giggles. His sister and wife seemed amused about something. " what's so funny? " he asked kneeling down to peck his two angels. Nandini pulled his finger and rubbed it against the melted chocolate. She then extended the same to Anya who immediately pulled it into her mouth liking off the last drop. Anya then stared at Arjun waiting for him to give her more, when she got nothing she went back to her toys ignoring him, " this one is seriously a drama queen." 

He extended his arms towards Anusha, she squealed lifting her arms, ''You too want some chocolate.'' Anusha displayed her happiness through her innocent squeals. Arjun hugged her close, he caressed her face as Chirag's  words echoed his mind. Every time he looked at Anusha , he felt the pain of not being able to save his sister but he was determined to give his two daughters a safe and beautiful life. He watched Anusha as she played with him. His eyes then went to Nandini and Radhika, his mind told him that they all were his and he wasn't going to share them with anyone.

Sam huffed hearing the door bell, she had been tired and had decided to eat in her room. She took lazy steps to the door pulling it open. A bell boy stood with a smile and note over a small tray, ''Good evening to you miss. The gentleman in the next room sends you a message.'' Sam smiled picked the note thanking the messenger.

Sam unfolded the small pink colour note, she smiled . It was so Neil, he used pink paper, had his note sent in a tray full of petals and when it came to words, it was the way they had always interacted. ''Samrinder Singh, will be waiting for you at dinner.''

Sam shook her head, what kind of romantic invitation is address a female partner as a male. The answer bought smile to her face, Neil kind of invitation could. She suddenly felt refreshed. Pulling her hair up, Sam pulled out the best she had in her luggage. Putting on some make up she quickly changed. If Neil was taking a step , she was going to take on too.

Sam stepped out of the room feeling like a sixteen year old waiting for her love story to bloom. She walked out of her with her heart thudding like crazy. She shook her head, it was just Neil, her idiot. She smiled her way to the dinning area and found it dark.  She looked around confused when a her form was illuminated by a beam of light. Sam smiled, next came his soothing voice.

''I know you must be laughing at me for all this set up but you have to believe that I really worked hard to make all this look really romantic.'' After his little speech came the sound of his tumbling feet.

Sam cleared her throat, trying to control her laughter.  ''Don't laugh Sammy, I am trying to be romantic.'' And she lost her control bursting into giggles. 

''Its not required Neil, not between us.'' He took a breather and room came to light. Sam couldn't hide the surprise when her eyes took the arrangements. It was indeed beautiful. Walking to Neil she smiled, ''Rather than getting proposed here, I would have loved if you would have proposed me at the park we used to play as kids.''

''Will do that as when we get back. I will get a cricket ball themed ring.'' She glared at him, he lifted his palms in apology. Before they could  say a word more, their mobiles started rigning at the same time. 

''Arjun?''

''Radhika!'' They echoed at the same time.

Nodding once Sam moved to the other corner, ''Chashni?''

''I am divorcing Arjun Mehra. Can you find me a place to stay.'' Sam face palmed . Her eyes met that of Neil who wore similar expression over his face. It seemed he too was trying to calm Arjun down.

''Arjun, calm down. This isn't the first time you fought with her.''

''But this time she is wrong. How can she talk about Nandu's marriage. She didn't even think once about Nandu's feelings. Neil froze, he knew the matter was touchy for Arjun. His feelings were raw. Neil took a breath, ''Calm down! I will talk to her.''

They both disconnected at the same time. ''We need to go back.'' Chorused their voices

''These two will never grow up.'' Sam said.

''Just like us.'' That made her smile. Neil held Sams hands into his, ''These two have done a lot for us and all of us are sought of incomplete without each other. We will fix them and then us before they fight again.''

''But Arjun is wrong as before.'' Sam reasoned

''Radhika should have understood his feelings before dropping such a bomb.''

''But what's wrong about it. You are such a chauvinist, caging women in age boundaries.''

''Now where did this men vs women came from.''

''You started Neil.'' Sam pointed her finger at him. He opened and then closed his mouth. Out of four, one sane brain was required and he decided it be that one. ''Fine, I am sorry. Let's go and pack and I will look for the flights.'' She nodded.
