Second day at BS was no different Zunbin again piled up work for radhika, she asked for the permission to leave early as her Dilip and Dadaji were leaving for home. Zubin asked her to complete the work and leave or she will lose her job. Radhika went back and drowned herself in work...she took no breaks and even skipped her lunch...only once she lifted her head up to look for Neil...but he seemed to be out on a meeting...by 4 PM Radhika was done with her work...she smiled and informed Zubin asking if she could leave. Zubin was shocked....she was good....even if he wanted to he wouldn't be able to pull out one mistake in her work....then a cunning idea struck him..'She is good...let me make use of it' ''You can leave after completing few assessment reports on 5 more clients...I have mailed you the data. You just have pull out a comparative report...''

Radhika was appalled; ''But you said I could leave after finishing my work...that I am done with...why more''

Zubin; ''I don't own the company...either do it or leave for ever'' Radhika heard kritika's giggle...with a sullen face she went back doing her work. It was already 5:00Pm and Dilip's flight was scheduled at 8:00 PM. Radhika's eyes welled..up

Sam checked the time and walked out of her cabin...she found Zubin kritika gossiping and Radhika working...Zubin quickly moved to Sam inhope of getting some praise for putting Radhika down; ''She wanted to leave early as her dad is leaving for Hrishikesh...I gave her so much work that she won't be able to meet them ''

Sam stared at smirking Zubin and the frantically busy Radhika; ''Radhika leave, work can be done tomorrow'' Radhika gave Sam a tear filled thankful smile before running out..Zubin was shocked Sam turned to him; ''whatever may be the cause never drag the family in between...no one knows its worth more than me'' Zubin stood there dumb found not knowing how to react...but he was Happy tomorrow he can take the credit of the amazing work Radhika did...little did he know that Neil had specifically asked Radhika to keep him informed all what she would be doing....she had marked a BCC to Neil too...which Zubin didn't know .

Radhika tied to get a cab or an auto....but to her bad luck none stop and then suddenly a bike stopped next o her; ''Chashni...so late ''

Radhika took a deep breath; ''My Papa and dadaji are leaving for Hrishikesh...I am late....and not getting a single taxi for airport''

Neil watched her haggard face; ''Hop on...I will be quicker than any of those'' Radhika thought and then took the offer..Neil zoomed his bike on the road..taking short cuts through the lanes and avoiding signals as musch as he could. He brought her to the airport. Just when she ran to departures ,Radhika saw dadaji and Dilip walking inside..her shoulders dropped in disappointment...Neil understood...he pulled her along to the other side where there was no crowd..''Dial your dad ..asking him to look this side'' Radhika did as Neil said...Dadaji and Dilip turned on her side waving at her...Radhika gave them an emotional smile before throwing a kiss at Dadaji....he responded in the same manner...once they left...Neil offered his handkerchief to Radhika; ''you look like a rabbit when you cry''

Radhika sniffed and replied softly; ''thank you''

Neil pulled her nose; ''Come I will drop you home its late....by the way what were you doing in office till 6:00 ...we all leave by 5:00''

Radhika; ''Zubin had assigned mework...he said I can't leave till I am done''

Neil tookher cell and saved his contact in hers; ''Next time anyone calls you...make them talk to me''

Radhika giggled; ''Oh yes I will tell them ...tu jaanta nai mereko...Neil bhai ka haath hai mere sar pe(you don't know whom are you messing with....I have a big name like Neil in my support) ''

Neil laughed and then drove her home. When she was getting down Neil playfully asked; ''So what are your Mumbai dreams...find a dream boy''

Radhika smiled and extended her hand showing her bangle; ''I am engaged and my dream is to live this 1 year to the fullest ''

Neil; ''Congrats !!! and he is lucky to have you....bye now see you tomorrow'' Before Neil could put his Helmet on Radhika grabbed his wrist; ''Thanks!!! I will never forget this''

Neil patted her cheek; ''what are friends for...now go and don't be late'' With that he drove off...radhika had to undergo a big grilling session as her aunt had seen Neil dropping her...the lady warned that she would chuck Radhika out if her inappropriate behaviour continues. Radhika confided everything in Saral should asked her to chill and concentrate on work...he also promised to stay by her aside always as he trusted her...smiling she disconnected and slept off..

Morning Radhika was late in getting up...her aunt refused her breakfast as she was late. Radhika curled her lip and left for office...When she entered she found it to be empty Radhika pulled her cell out. There were 5-6 messages from Neil last one stating; 'come to board room' Radhika fumbled dashed against her work station ...rubbing her knee she walked towards the room and knocked...Piyali lifted her eyes; ''Come in Radhika take a seat...''

Radhika entered and froze....Piyali made the introduction; ''Arjun she is Radhika..trainee and Radhika he is Arjun Mehra BS new partner and MD of BS. Radhika was left stunned looking at a familiar face yet a different man ...her legs refused to move. 

Arjun's heart teared , why of all her. He wanted to be the best man in her eyes and ideal ...yet now she would be thinking him to be a fraud..but for now he had to handle the situation ;''will you sit or keep on staring at me...'' There were some giggles ....Radhika opened her mouth but Arjun didn't let her speak....''Either sit or get the hell out of this room ...I hate who waste my time'' Arjun's voice was harsh and Radhika shivered ...her cheeks flushed in embarrassment...no one till date had raised their voice on her... Radhika looked away and took her seat as Neil tapped a chair next to him...Neil read her worried expression leaning close he whispered; ''Smile and I will get you a chocolate'' Radhika smiled....Arjun's sharp eyes noticed all...his heart screamed mine yet he couldn't do a thing.....carrying on with the meeting he discussed and promised million things....Sam was all lost in him ...Neil sat there pained and Radhika felt like a fool....she felt deceived cheated...Once the meeting got over Radhika was the first one to leave...She went to her place and sat there closing her eyes firmly trying control her anger...Neil came and sat on her desk; ''Don't mind him..he is kind of self obsessed with his looks and success''

Radhika replied angry; ''even you are good looking and much better than him...yet you are so polite...''

Neil decided to distract her; ''really ??? I am good looking ...wow so do you think we can be long lost brothers''

Radhika; ''please no...you are better off alone'' Neil wanted to laugh at her puffed up cheeks...pulling her cheeks  he took a chocolate out of his pocket and kept it  right infront of Radhika's eyes....she smiled wide...her eyes sparkled...Neil lightly punched her cheek...he smiled looking at the happiness her eyes carried looking at a small chocolate bar....she was like a child ...somewhere talking to her was a good distraction from Sam.

Sam couldn't stop smiling since Arjun walked into Bird Song, her heart had already started singing ...unknowingly she had started dreaming.Sam was still lost in her world when she heard a knock ...Arjun entered with a handsome smirk, his eyes only on her...Sam made a serious face; ''were our previous encounters mere coincidence or you planned it ''

Arjun moved close..very close...he could see the affect on her..leaning he whispered; ''what do you think''

Sam replied little distracted; ''I ...I think you planned it...to get into BS'' she steeped back creating some distance. Sam folded her arms to chest turning little defensive of his mental onslaught...Arjun knew he won half of it  he to ok step forward locking her to the wall...; ''do you really think I need you to get into BS..???'' getting no answer he smirked...''well to be precised getting you is the goal...escape if you can Sam'' Arjun whispered near Sam's ear intentionally brushing his lips on her skin...with that he walked out leaving a flustered Sam back....Neil who saw this was in tears..

Rest of the day passed in blur...with Arjun looking for one chance to speak to Radhika, on the other hand she seemed to be too busy with either Neil or Teji. Arjun  was frustrated , he knew she wouldn't give him a chance...he was too  anrgy with the idea of loosing her....

From his cabin he watched her packing her things, he was moving out when he saw Neil patting her cheek and saying something to her..with burning heart he made his way to the elevator....he stood there pretending to be busy on call waiting for Radhika to come out..after few minutes she came...Arjun entered the elevator waiting for her...Radhika gave him a disgusted look before running down the stairs....Arjun wanted to reach before her..he pressed G waiting impatiently...when he reached he looked around but couldn't find her he was sure she couldn't have reached before him....

After 2 minutes he heard a bike engine and found Radhika sitting behind Neil as they drove off ....Arjun burned she was his just his....getting in his car he decided to follow....

Sam had left a minute before but a call made her pull her car aside...Sam was still busy over the call and then she turned quite...in the rear view she saw Neil driving in her direction and as he passed he found Radhika with him...Sam disconnected...she was sure she saw Radhika laughing. Even in the morning she felt jealous when Neil gifted Radhika a chocolate , a gesture he did only for her...Sam was insecure now....but failed to understand this feeling..

''Stop..stop..stop'' Neil applied quick brakes as Radhika asked him to stop..pulling his helmet off he turned sideways; ''your house is about 15 min far...why here''

Radhika hopped out; ''Because if my aunt sees you she will make my life hell...she will throw me out and mom will call me back...I don't want to lose a chance of living my dream...''

Neil understood; ''Okay no problem....but you think it will be safe'' Radhika smiled and nodded...she turned to leave but then stopped; ''Neil every moment every person teaches us something..like you made me believe  that you can be friends with someone just by knowing them for few days....Thanks Neil'' Neil knew she read his bad mood....he smiled shaking his head; ''And you taught me that for a chocolate you can get an amazing friend like you'' 

Radhika replied like a child; ''Hmm...not just chocolate I think if you treat me with ice cream someday I can think about being your best friend'' Neil laughed ''go now...call me if you need something...'' Neil drove off and Radhika started walking towards her house smiling oblivious that two mad eyes were right behind her.

Arjun followed her...he stood at a distance watching her walking away. 'Talk to her Arjun...now' Arjun took longer steps to her and then grabbed her arm. Radhika's eyes turned angry; ''leave me Arjun Sir....''

''Listen to me please give me a chance...I can explain...please Radhika'' Radhika pushed him...Arjun pleaded ; ''Please give a chance to your friend''

Radhika folded are arms to chest and stood before him; ''you have 2 minutes''

Arjun smiled ; ''My full name is Arjun Ashish Mehra, I use my father's name as middle name. People befriend me for name and money....for once I wanted a good genuine friend...when I saw you help that limping boy and then those orphan kids...I just wanted to meet you as a regular simple guy....in my world I am big bad Arjun Mehra...''

Radhika narrowed her eyes; ''I might be simple but not stupid...if that was the case you wouldn't have treated me bad in the board room''

Arjun lowered his head; ''look...there all are equal to me....I got to know people were troubling you there. Had I shown friendly attitude towards you , they would have called you names or said Arjun is awarding favors to new girl....Radhika you are an amazing friend and I don't want to lose you''

Radhika blinked , Arjun knew if not 100% she did believe him a little....thinking for a minute she said; ''fine ..last chance...but I don't trust you completely ....you have to work hard to win it back...'' with that she walked off...Arjun watched her go....' its not just your trust...its your heart and you I am looking to win. ' Arjun gave himself a pat; 'well done Arjun....nice story...but anything for this one...just Anything' smirking he walked off....

After dinner Radhika stood near the window looking out into the night sky..she wasn't a fool..but  not as cunning as Arjun..she wasn't aware of his ways neither his likeness for her...yet she decided to be sure before accepting him as a friend ...

Neil that night smiled a little more playing all his favourite music on his guitar...Prerna smiled looking at her smiling son...

Sam was swinging between happiness and insecurity ....her mind was fluttering thinking of Arjun and her heart feared losing Neil...

Arjun connected his laptop to the projector...it flashed a wall size picture on the screen. He had taken this without her knowing about it. Arjun moved his fingers on her smiling picture....he leaned keeping his cheek on her picture; ''I want to be the good no best guy in your eyes....but if you stay here...you will hate me for what I am going to do...so for my mission and for our happy life you will have to leave for Hrishikesh...once I am done ...we will be together again'' walking backwards he leaned casually on the table watching the flashed picture without a blink...
