''Why do you feel he wouldn't love Anusha, he his himself adopted'' Sam reasoned

Radhika huffed, ''Do you remember what he did to get me out of your life, he married me gave me fake promises of giving up his revenge. '' Sam shrugged her shoulders, Radhika explained, ''Arjun Mehra is all about I mine and just mine. He was so possessive about me that he decided to cut my friends off, without even caring how I felt about it. I gave all up, thinking I will able to change him. Then came the choice between his revenge and the promise he made to me,  he went ahead with his revenge and was about to destroy you even after promising me about giving it up . That man only believes in his words and thoughts, he never wants to share what's his . Do you think he will share the love of his child with another one? Once he has Anya he will do all to sideline Anusha. No, he can't  love my innocent girl  and  I can't let her heart get bruised. After he broke the promise to me I don't trust him.''

Sam recalled the conversation she had with her friend a night before. The issue was that Radhika didn't trust Arjun. He had lost that and gaining it would require a lot of hard work. He thoughts were broken as Radhika entered the apartment after dropping girls to school. ''I will leave for work.''

''I will pick girls from the school and then we leave for the airport. '' Sam informed radhika, they had initial plans of traveling on a Saturday but Sam didn't wanted Radhika to change her mind. The latter just smile at her best friend, she understood what Sam is doing and why.  She gave her friend a hug before leaving.  

Once the cab arrived, Sam loaded the luggage and then picked the girls. Anusha still had to wear the cast for a month and Sam had to lift her up to the car. Anya on the other hand came dancing declaring about her travel to her friends. ''Sammy, will I be able to play at Nani's house.'' Anusha asked

Sam smiled, ''just 23 days, I told you to minus each day from the calendar , then you will play and run.''

''Then we will beat all the boys together.'' Anya added Sam rolled her eyes, the girl was such and anti male. They drove to the airport where Radhika was waiting for them. Sam messaged Nandini, she smiled looking at the two angels , 'You will soon meet your dad, and he will complete your family. '   She made a small prayer . The announcement of their flight was made and 4 made their way to the boarding gate.  They were travelling to Delhi and in morning to Hrishikesh.

Arjun sat opposite to nandini waiting for his answers, ''Nandu, you were about Radhika's whereabouts for all those years.''

''Yes, what will you do about it.'' She challenged

He rubbed his face, his sister has started acting like a child, picking fights with him at every moment. He wasn't aware that Nandini had two brilliant little teachers who would chat with daily teaching her new tantrums and ways to irritate boys. Nandini wanted to laugh looking at Arjun's expression, she mentally celebrated being successful in irritating him

''I want to meet her'' He pleaded

''I will let her know, but hers is the last decision.'' With that she dismissed him. He walked out of the mansion all thoughtful. Now he doubted about she being not in touch with her family. Picking his phone he dialed one of his men, ''Keep an eye on Mishra House.'' He wasn't aware that his sister was keeping an eye on him, the moment he left Nandini warned the guy against giving any information to Arjun. She wanted Radhika to have some time with her family before having the face off with her husband. She knew, once in India it would be difficult for Radhika to leave all and go as Mishras won't be able to take any kind of separation from her any more.On the other hand Arjun was unaware of beautiful surprise life had planned for him in form of 2 little girls.

Silence had become the permanent resident of Mishra house. The inhabitants were just passing the days and not living. The sound of door bell made them wonder about the visitor visiting them  so early in the day.

Radhika fidgeted nervously at the door, waiting for it to get answered. Every step to her house took her back to the land of memories, she was aware what she did with her family was wrong but she knew they would understand her plight. He heart paced up when sound of unlocking the latch fell on her ear, and then the door was being pulled in, ''Radhika right?'' Radhika blinked looking at the unknown face smiling at her. ''Ma, papa...its Radhika. She is home.'' Before she could understand the girl engulfed Radhika in her arms, and then moved to Sam. 

''You guys know each other.'' Radhika asked

''Meet my sister and your brother's wife Manya.'' Radhika blinked.  Manya smiled and squatted down, ''And who are the two little angels'' The girls suddenly went shy hiding their faces in their mother's clothes. ''meet Anya and Anusha, your nieces. Now can we move in.'' Sam interrupted.

Mala stared at her daughter as if it was a dream. Radhika took slow steps to her mother, ''Ma'' Mala broke down hugging her youngest child, the one who was the life of their house. They had been broken since the day she vanished from their lives and now when she was back, they just couldn't have enough of her. The two girls watched their mom and granny crying, ''Why are they crying?'' Anusha asked her sister

''Some boy must have fought with them.'' Anya answered like a pro. Sam tapped her head asking her to be quite. The Mishars were elated to have their girl and two beautiful angels in their house. Mala hugged Sam, ''thank you''

''Don't make me feel like an outsider. I wish I could do this earlier.'' Radhika noticed, how comfortable and familiar Sam had grown with her family. She silently thanked her friend for taking care of them in her absence. Her eyes went to Manya, though they had never met but Radhika had heard about Sam's ultra mod sister. She still couldn't believe the girl running in and out taking care of her family was Manya. She deiceded to get the details later

It took just few minutes for girls to open up and then it was just them talking non-stop. They understood quickly that it was Ankush who could take them out and now were buttering him like anything, ''We will go in evening I promise'' He cuddled them feeling at the top of the world.

''Anay no screaming'' Radhika interrupted the favorite sport of her naughty daughter . the four year old frowned, ''My life is spoiled because of Mommy'' Radhika spat her tea as other rolled in laughter, the radhika Mishar had finally found her match

''Anusha no running.'' Radhika warned as the little girl took advantage of her mother busy talking to her granny. Anusha curled her lip leaning on Ankush, he pecked the top of her head pulling her to is chest lovingly, his eyes questioning Radhika on the cast. She just nodded gesturing to discuss later. Manya took the girls inside in pretext of making cake for them so that Radhika could have some alone time with her family

''Now what Nandini di, how do I make her and Arjun meet.'' Sam called Nandini, she had stepped out of Mishra house making an excuse. 

''Sam, just convince Radhika to visit me in Mumbai and leave all on God.'' Sam looked at the sky, ''I did my job, now do your work.''

When she entered the house again, it looked as of on fire with the whole house busy in tackling the girls, who were enjoying all the attention thrown at them. Radhika's warning were now falling on deaf ears as girls knew their mother wasn't the Boss anymore. They had support from others who could scold their Hitler Mom. Even dadji didn't spare his favorite choti when she gave a threatening glare to the girls.

Sam smiled, she was sure once the girl had their father life would smile on them even more.

Neil sat on the old bench watching the kids enjoy their break. He wished for one more chance to grow up, he wanted to change everything. He wanted to undo to falling for Sam. He wanted to go back in time and accept the call letter from world's top music university. He just wanted to do something which would let this pain go. It had been 15 days since Sam left him, he had tried reaching her but her number had been out of reach. He was aware of her frequent travels and now doubted her having moved on from him completely for someone better. He had even visited BS, but the once friends had berated him badly for breaking Sam's heart .

Neil huffed, all seemed so empty without her. For more than 2 years he kept blaming her and now all blames were on him. He knew he was responsible for his crumbled marriage. ''What are you doing here? '' A familiar gruff voice broke his stance

He stared at the source and scowled, ''None of your business, and I guess you haven't taken over this institution to bar me from here.''

Arjun smiled, the Neil he saw reminded him of the Arjun few years back. Taking the place next to him, he sighed, ''I am here looking for a friend.''

''So the Arjun Mehra has friends too'' neil mocked

''Yes, just one and was too dear to me. Then I life took a turn, we got separated and I never got the chance to say goodbye''

''Why are you looking for him now?'' Neil asked a little curious about the man next to him

''because I need one, desperately. A good friend is like a reflection, they are the only one who damn care and give the right opinion, they can stop you from committing mistakes. I wish I had him, my life would have been different.''

Neil went curious, ''You studied here, how long?''

''2 years, I was on a scholarship.''

''Do you have any picture of that friend?'' Neil asked to which Arjun replied in negative. ''Which year?'' When Arjun mentioned the calendar year, Neil rubbed his chest. There were fair chances he knew the man next to him. He got up, ''Come with me.''

They walked into the record room which had the group photographs of each batch. He requested to show them of that particular year for standard 5 and 6. Arjun grinned like a child, ''That's me''

''And your friend?'' Neil asked

''I am not sure, I have a faint memory. I just remember his soothing words. He would always calm me down'' The reply made Neil gulp, taking a step forward he kept his finger on the picture, ''Is that him?''

Arjun kept staring at it, ''Not sure, I had met with an accident and then the family adopted me. For few months my memory of too vague and gradually it started slipping.''

''before you get angry, think twice.'' Neil's words made Arjun snap up. He watched the other man opposite to him smiling like he always had. His glorious dimples showing the excitement of his heart, ''You remembered the school, his words but forgot the face.''

''You...Neil...my friend.'' Arjun stammered

''No, your best friend.'' Neil didn't wait and hugged Arjun tightly, after years he felt calmness. He too needed a friend to share his pain and he just got one back , there was no way he would let him go. The guys stuffed the pocket of admin with two big currency notes as they made their way out, for now they had the same issue. They had hurt their partners bad.
