Radhika watched the roaring waves from Arjun's beach side bungalow, she was thankful that he decided to bring her to stay with his sister than taking her to his apartment. She took a deep breath pushing back the hair that blocked the scenic view. She still couldn't believe the way her life had taken a complete turn. She was running from Arjun, had made her mind up to marry Saral and yet she was here standing in his house as his wife. She couldn't forget the gloomy face of her family, Saral's defeated eyes. Though she never loved him, he was her childhood buddy and she hated Arjun for playing with his life. She was determined to punish him and bad.

Arjun watched his wife of 2 days, watching the oblivion lost in her own world. He smiled, his dream had finally come true. Since he had set his eyes on her, he just wanted to brand her as his and now she was finally his. He took slow steps to her as his heart beating mad against his rib cage. He stood an inch away from her as her flying hair caressed her face

His eye admired her as his lips stretched into a smile. She was finally his and forever. He lifted his palm to caress her head when she turned around abruptly bumping into him. She blinked shocked and then her expression changed to anger, ''What were you trying to do?''

''Admiring you''

''Done! Move.'' She pushed him slightly moving past him. He frowned at her attitude and grabbed her arm pulling her back to him, ''We are married, why this behaviour''

''because this marriage is not my will, I am being forced into it. Because it left my family pained and my Saral scarred, because I hate you.'' She intentionally said MY Saral to burn Arjun down, she knew he hated that name and she so wanted to rile him up.

Arjun took deep breaths , ''That's past, let's move on.''

''Past gives birth present and present gives birth to future. Your past deeds gave birth to our present, and now this present will result in your bad future. Because, I am going to make your life hell.'' Arjun was about to respond when call of Radhika's name made him turn, she smiled and hugged the visitor tight, ''So good to see you Sam, come we have a lot to discuss.'' She dragged Sam to her so call bedroom and locked it from inside.

''Why lock?'' Sam asked

''Let him think we are doing something naughty inside.'' Radhika replied tongue in cheek Sam just rolled her eyes.

''So what do we have?''

Sam pulled out few papers and extended it to Radhika, ''We are doomed, mom and Arjun had already signed the partnership deal a month back. He is the 30% owner.''

''Are the papers submitted in court? Radhika asked

''Sam, not sure. But why wouldn't he submit? ''

''Don't know, he was distracted. I wouldn't let him close to you, your inclination towards Neil and my nod for wedding kept him on toes. Its just a wild guess.''

''Even if he hasn't how do we find it?''

''Let me search his house, I will be glad making his life hell.''

''That won't be easy. ''

''Nothing easy, listen he won't be able to reach office tomorrow, I will make sure of that just dig his cabin nicely.'' Sam nodded , after an hour or so she left.

Arjun barged into his to find it completely messed. ''Wht are you doing?''

''Making space for my stuff, I have thrown off all the waste off.'' Arjun's jaw dropped, his expensive stuff which lay scattered all over the floor , she called is waste.

''Are you out of your mind, what was the need to throw when there is enough space for atleast 3.'' He asked agitated.

She was enjoying it, ''You really don't want to know, still I will tell you so that you feel hurt. You didn't think a minute before scattering my life, my parents dreams and Saral's future. If you are so mad about me throwing these lifeless objects, think how mad I am right now at you fro breaking so many so many dreams. Now, I will do the same with you,everyday every moment.''

Arjun stared at her determined angry face, instead of being angry he fell in love with her all the way more. Kicking the scattered stuff aside , he walked to where she stood making her step back, locking her to the wall he leaned, ''Do whatever you like, I will love you more with every stunt of yours.'' He smiled softly placing a tender kiss on her cheek, she felt the skin heating up but didn't react. Arjun walked off telling her he would send someone to clean the mess. Once he was out she smiled, she had already discovered a drawer having many important papers. She didn't wanted Sam hurt, neither she wanted him to commit a bigger sin.

Arjun kicked the punctured tyre of his car, hallowing in pain next moment strangely all his 3 cars were punctured. He dialled Nandini, ''I need your car.''

She pressed her lips to suppress the laughter, ''I guess, Radhika took it. You will have to mange by a cab.'' She disconnected laughing her heart out. After good wait he finally could get a cab, which reached office after being stuck in traffic for long. When he finally reached, he found his darling wife laughing with her friends, minus all her wedding signs. He decided to deal with her later . He barged into his cabin and crashed into his chair, he had to think of something as Sam was all alert. Thinking , he got up but felt something sticky. There was a chewing gum stuck on his expensive trouser. He counted till 10, she seriously was on a mission to  make him lose his senses.

Radhika got a warm welcome , ''Now we can ask Neil for party as Chasni is back.'' Zubin chimed.

''Why would Neil give a party'' Radhika asked confused.

''Because he got engaged to Soniya.'' Kritika replied making Radhika go numb, not even once Sam expressed her pain. Leaving all Radhika barged into Sam's cabin, ''Why didn't you tell me?''

Sam kept aside the file she was going through, leaving her chair she moved to Radhika and gently pushed her on to near by chair. Taking her hand in hers , Sam replied, ''Because its high time , I fight my own battles. You know Chashni when I heard about Neil's engagement, I felt my life crumbling. And you know what hurt more, he didn't even took an initiative to let me know. I know I made mistake of not understanding his feelings, but I have never been a bad friend. More than my heart he broke my friendship. That moment I decided, I will not depend on any one any more. I have been emotionally messed up after Bhai's accident, now its time gather myself up. It was because of my stupidity that Arjun could walk in that deep , everything was infront of me and I didn't see it. No more, this company is my dad's hard work and I am not going to let a psycho take over it'' Radhika smiled, ''That half battle is won.''

''How do you plan to screw his happiness.'' Sam asked with a smirk

''I punctured all his cars , stuck a chewing gum to his chair and mixed chilli in his flask of protein shake. His day is just going to be rocking.'' Sam's eyes went wide, after a minute she laughed. 

''WHat if we don't get the papers?'' She asked Radhika little worried

''We still fight'' Radhika replied and The friends hugged each other. Radhika stepped out of the cabin to find Neil standing n a corner, his eyes closed and head leaned back on the wall. She stood opposite to him , her arms crossed across her chest, ''I understand you wanted to get rid of your pain, but as a friend she deserved to know about your engagement. Congratulations, you just lost 2 friends.'' Neil couldn't say a word, he just stared at Radhika for a minute before lowering his eyes. She walked off, not giving him any chance to explain. Neil watched his retreating friend and then turned his eyes to Sam, she was busy scribbling something and then moving her eyes to the laptop screen. She looked completely occupied. Since she had known about his engagement , she had maintained the distance. He had got to know from his mother about Sam's visit and her request to Sam to keep out of his life. She was keeping his mother's request quite beautifully. She would only talk about professional matters, and never questioned his absence in office. In reality, Neil missed his Samrinder Singh.

''Can I come in?'' he asked knocking the door. Sam looked up, nodding she went back to her work again. ''You have changed Sam.'' He complained

''No, but I am trying to. For my good.'' She replied ending the conversation.

''Care for coffee?'' He just didn't wanted the conversation to end.

''Sorry, I had with Chashni and I am going out on lunch with her.'' Sam replied without looking at him. He didn't know what more to say. ''Sam, I am sorry.''

''For what?''

''For not telling you about my engagement, it just happened....'' his words came to halt as she raised her palm to silence him

''I never asked you for any justification,  I am glad you found happiness in your life and Neil, this explanation doesn't matter any more. You had already decided not to make me a part of of your life by removing those pictures, so lets just keep it that way.'' Neil stared at her, the Sam he knew was gone. The girl in front of him was a girl who had made a hard walls around her, walls which he couldn't penetrate.

He got up to leave , when her voice stopped him, ''Neil, I have decided to move your current project to Zubin. I don't want to tie you down with work, your family's business and Soniya needs you more than BS.'' Neil was left shocked, he walked backwards was she cutting him off completely, he hadn't lived a day without seeing her face and now if seemed she no more wanted him around. He felt a strange pain, it was deep unbearable. He had never felt of this kind before, not even when Sam rejected his love and chose Arjun, then why now? Turning around, he quickly left the cabin.

Sam closed her eyes leaning on her chair. After a minute she smiled, lifting the intercom she dialled Radhika, ''Guess what, I think I absorbed some talent of yours to do a little drama. '' Radhika was little confused, Sam narrated how she was torturing Neil. Radhika burst out laughing, she gave Sam some more tips when words froze in her mouth. A pair of feet stood close to her, she disconnected and looked up. Arjun stood with a menacing expression on his face, ''In my cabin.NOW!''

Radhika smiled, he looked mad. He hard work bore results, she followed him hopping behind him.

Jai found it too difficult to walk, his physio had been pressuring him a lot.He felt frustrated about his continuous failures. ''Is this a way to deal with a patient?'' Shruti asked agitated . Jai's face lit up , he had missed her like anything. Shruti asked the physio about each and every exercise. She reprimanded him for being  insensitive with the patient.

''What a surprise Shruti, how are you?'' Piyali asked walking into Jai's room Shruti smiled, ''I have been transferred to Mumbai, so thought of checking on Jai.'' She replied with her eyes locked with Jai.

''Mrs Khanna , would you mind if I supervise Jai's physio sessions. I mean I have treated him for long. '' 

''Why would I, that would be just great. You guys catch up, I will send in some coffee.'' As Piyali left, Shruti cupped his cheek, ''How are you?'' He couldn't speak much but she understood and replied, ''I am fine, I got transferred to Mumbai.'' He smiled pecking her palm on his cheek. 

''I....missed...u'' He said with a great difficulty. She smiled, ''i know and I did to, this is why I am here.'' The unsaid emotions passed through them in silence . She picked his progress file and started going through it, oblivious to the fact that Jai's sister was slowly becoming the present of her past and that she will have to repent for not closing the things with Ankush nicely. Though she felt little guilty for what happened between her in Ankush, but Jai's presence made her forget everything. She was happy to be a part of his life and him of hers.
