Sam's house was filled with laughter as Radhika started talking. She served everyone, but Arjun. When Sam asked her to offer Arjun too, Radhika thinned her lips making an annoyed face. Sam laughed but pushed her to do the honours. Radhika moved to Arjun with a bowl in her hands.

Arjun was furious, both his plans failed. First Radhika was still in Mumbai and second he had to go wooing Sam all over again. He pretended all busy with the file, but in reality he was mad. He never wanted to be bad in Radhika's eyes. Fate had something else for him.

Radhika approached Arjun and stood near his chair without making a single sound. Arjun's eyes moved to the lean pair of fidgeting feet, he smiled. Slowly his eyes moved   up taking every inch of hers. Her thin waist , her well manicured hands that clutched the bowl rather too tightly. Arjun noticed a beaded bracelet and heavy gold bangle on her right wrist . The pale colour of beads complimented her clean skin. His eyes moved further up and stayed on her heaving chest for a second. She was nervous . Moving it further he took a good look at her lean neck before locking his dark eyes with her brown ones. Arjun's intense eyes made Radhika take a step back; ''Halwa for you''

''I hate sweets'' he replied turning his eyes to the file. ''Having sweets before starting work is a good luck. Plus your it helps sweeten and polish your language'' Neil spat the water, turning around he tried holding his laughter. Arjun noticed that, gritting his teeth his eyes turned to Radhika; ''I am happy with my fowl language''

''Why are you always so grumpy, swollen nose never looked good on anyone '' Zubin cleared his throat to stop Radhika, but she had already shot the arrow. ''Why are you so fake'' Arjun answered with a question. Radhika smiled; ''Am I? I don't think so. I never kept two faces, something somewhere'' Arjun got her hint, she was hinting towards his lie . ''I love being grumpy''

''Try to smile it will help you relax and make your heart happy. Plus you won't get wrinkles'' Radhika turned to leave. ''The day you face reality your smile will vanish and darkness will engulf you. You don't know the power of darkness'' Arjun spat rudely 

''Yes its so powerful that just a spark shoos it away'' Radhika replied all easy. Arjun stood up towering her and banged the file on the table; ''So according to you I am a grumpy foul mouth liar who always stay angry and since I don't have sweets I will have a bad luck''

The audience in the room turned their eyes to from the predator to prey. The small prey was smiling; ''I never said that, but I won't argue if you feel that about yourself. Anyways, you don't want to have so I am taking it back. I think after this conversation I will need more sweet after my dinner'' Neil by now had ducked near the kitchen cabinet, it was hard for him to control his laughter after noticing Arjun's angry face. Radhika sweetly walked back to the kitchen. Arjun kept glaring at her,. Sam turned to wards the kitchen and found Radhika missing ;''Chashni where are you'' Radhika raised her arm to show she was on the floor; ''Neil pulled me to share a joke and now he is just laughing'' . There was some scoffing and coughing in the room, as the 3 present tried controlling their laughter to the max. Sam rubbed Arjun's arm. She too was trying to control her smile; ''It's ok she didn't mean to offend you, her heart is like that of a kid''

''Kids should be taught to behave, I am leaving'' Arjun looked around for his phone, not able to find it he walked back into the bedroom. When he came out Neil was feeding Radhika, there closeness made him burn. Just then Radhika's phone rang, ''Saral'' she chirped running out. Arjun took his leave and walked out. He descended the stairs he watched Radhika smiling and talking over the phone, she kept walking in the front open space, sometimes brushing her fingers on plants and then on the wall. Then she laughed , Arjun's fingers curled. She smiled laughed with everybody , but him. He reduced his pace, taking small steps he moved closer. He had well calculated his time. Just then Radhika turned colliding with him. Her eyes went wide as she gaped at him all surprised. Arjun smiled looking at his reflection in her eyes; ''Can we talk'' Radhika disconnected promising Saral to call back again.

''Yes Sir, anything important'' Radhika sounded professional. ''We are not in office, we can talk like friends'' Arjun voice came polite, she smirked; ''Simple people like me rob others of their peace. Plus I wear a mask of goodness. Why would a good righteous guy like you would befriend a fake one like me'' Arjun lost his smile, she heard his conversation with Sam; ''It wasn't about you'' His voice had care concern and truth

Radhika took a step back; ''Sir, we belong to two different worlds. Its better we stay there'' Radhika walked off without giving him a glance which he desired so much. Once she was inside he whispered; 'One day I will engulf your world to make mine as yours. Wait for that moment'

Once everybody left, Sam Radhika chit chatted like old friends. Radhika's words , her experiences made Sam smile and laugh. Since Jai's death it was first time Sam was laughing so much. ''Chashni tomorrow you are attending a fest with me''

''What is it about'' Radhika asked gaining interest. ''A big multinational is looking to expand in India, they have invited vendors and partners who could support them in expansion. BS too got an invitation, I want you to come'' Sam explained. Radhika thought; ''I am of no help, take someone who is experienced. I don't want to look like a dud''

Sam smiled; ''you are anything but dud. Regarding experience, how will you gain without experiencing it. Tomorrow morning 9:00 AM sharp'' Radhika opened her mouth but Sam silenced her; ''Sleep, nothing will go wrong, I will be with you''

Radhika looked around at the crowd in the fest and then at herself. She was wearing a pair of white legging with pink shirt. Her hair tied up in a high ponytail. Radhika clutched the strap of her jute bag hard. Sam walked ahead and then turned around; ''Come along Chashini'' Radhika quickly joined Sam; ''I am not dressed for the occasion, they will think I gate crashed''

Sam smiled at took a good look at Radhika; ''Actually you don't anything, your innocence and honesty makes you glow.'' Sam pointed to the crowd; ''the painted and too dressed up out there are not confident of their skills. But that's not with us. Come'' Sam smiled hooking her arm with Radhika's. They walked to the table assigned, there were lectures presentations discussions. Radhika Sam participated without a hitch. Sam was at awe of Radhika, though she had less knowledge on the industry, she was amazing with ideas and words. Radhika spoke when she knew she could do her best. Sam applauded each and every good word she spoke. Finally , all were asked to submit the proposals. Sam asked Radhika to write one line to describe BS work and she did 'We make your hard work famous' Sam smiled, filling the rest before submitting.

Along with Radhika Sam moved to the buffet area, Sam introduced Radhika with many people in advertising and one of them was Chirag of Samdura Advertising. ''How are you Sam and who is she'' Chirag took a good long look at Radhika, he understood she was new. Radhika's uncomfortable reaction to his ogling eyes made him smile. ''She is Radhika, my colleague and Radhika he is Chirag a senior associate with Samudra'' Someone called Sam and she excused herself. Chirag extended his hand; ''Hi Radhika, nice to meet you''

Radhika smiled accepting it, but the moment her hand touched his Chirag gripped it too hard; ''So where are you from''. ''Hrihikesh'' Radhika replied trying to free her hand of his grip. In stead of leaving it his grip turned harder; ''Oh from the holy city, I am sure you must be as pure as the waters of holy river flowing there. Lets go for a coffee'' Radhika was now uncomfortable, she didn't wanted to create a scene at a corporate event. But standing next to this man was unbearable.

Chirag was enjoying Radhika's discomfort. After years he had seen such simplicity, her silence to his advancement was encouraging. Radhika requested to let go which he brushed off laughing.

Sam who had been in discussion with one of the senior professional saw this. Quickly concluding it she moved towards Radhika. Chirag tried getting closer when a strong grip on his wrist surprised him; ''Back off before I smack your face'' Sam growled, Chirag immediately let go ; ''We were just getting acquainted'' Sam smirked; ''I know you and your ways '' Turning to Radhika Sam advised; ''Next time he does that, slap him'' Taking Radhika along Sam walked out; ''Why did you tolerate the misbehaviour''

''I didn't wanted to create a scene at a prospective client's event'' Radhika replied defensively. Sam cupped her face; ''Nothing is more important than a girls respect. Plus a little scene would have advertise BS so well'' Enjoying a small laugh they both drove off.

Arjun placed his palms on the wall dropping his head down he took inhaled deep. The rage within his blood had to be calmed or it would harm someone bad. Arjun had come down to help a BS competitor to gain an edge over them. He wanted to spoil BS image. When he reached the venue, he saw Chirag misbehaving with Radhika. He felt his blood turning into lava, he wanted to rip Chirag's head of his body. But before him Sam reached and rescued Radhika. He hated people troubling or hurting her. All she deserved was love and care. He wanted to shield her from all the bad , he cursed himself for not being there whenever she needed him. Arjun tried taking deep breaths to calm his mind.

''Hey Arjun ! What's up man? You look worked up'' Chirag greeted Arjun by patting his back, Arjun took a deep breath; ''Nothing''

''So did you speak with MD'' Chirag questioned. ''Are you an idiot I can't do that infront of so many people. My name should be no where in picture. Sam too was here, I can't risk''

''Sam ,yes with R-A-D-H-I-K-A. Pure sweetness'' The way her name rolled on Chirag's tongue made Arjun mad again. Pulling Chirag at the back of the main building Arjun gripped his throat lifting him off the earth; ''Don't you dare touch or take her name again.'' Chirag scoffed wriggling to free himself off the death trap; ''if I find you within 100 meters of her, I will burn you to roots. Got my word'' Chirag nodded. Arjun left him recklessly on the floor before walking away. Chirag kept rubbing his hurting neck thinking the reason for Arjun's sudden affection for an unknown girl''

Arjun entered BS in a foul mood. He was furious of continuous failures in destroying BS, plus his fear of losing Radhika. To calm his nerves, he decided to take a coffee break.

He walked up to the terrace to find some peace. His mind starting working on how to trap Sam, pulling out his phone he decided to call Sam, just then he heard a crackling laughter. Turning around Arjun walked to the other side of terrace. Radhika and her gang stood there enjoying their time; ''You guys have maximum free time'' Arjun commented rather rude, killing their fun that minute. Sam smiled; ''We were taking a break, what are you up to''

Arjun smirked glaring at Neil; ''Planning to take you on a dinner date, what say ''Sam smiled wide and nodded. Waving to her group she walked away with Arjun. The rest to dispersed as they read the sadness in Neil's eyes. ''I too want to go on a date'' Radhika spoke taking a deep breath

''Didn't Saral take you'' Neil asked surprised. Radhika nodded curling her lip. ''he will be thrashed publicly . By the way what is the fuss about the date. Can't to friends go on a date''

Neil smiled; ''when 2 people who are interested in each other go out it's a date. Rest or just get together. '' Radhika turned completely to Neil; ''Let's go on a musical date, my hands are itching to touch a key board. Plus you promised me the dinner at your place'' Neil smiled at her child like request; ''At 6:00 PM meet me at the parking'' Radhika nodded happily.
