The next time I went to this place was well a pretty normal town. It was small and well kept with small shoved together houses. It was cozy. I really liked it honestly. Better than my underground home. It was also much warmer due to the sun being out. It was a lovely day. But something was off.
I saw people around me but they was frozen. Frozen is like they had just stopped. It was like a movie scene put on pause. They weren't even breathing from what it looked like. Some were having conversations, some were coming home, there was even a girl who had tripped and been frozen mid fall.
Due to nothing happening it was silent and the now warm town felt eerie. I walked around a little looking at all the people and trying to get them to move or something. I don't know why I tried. No one can even hear or see me when this happens. I signed and sat down. I wondered why I was sent here...what was I-
As I was thinking a loud bong snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked to see where t was coming from. I saw on the other side of the street a store with a large grandfather clock in the window. I got up and walked to the shop. I looked into the window to see the wares. It seemed like a jewelry store. In the window there were delicately put together bracelets, rings, and pocket watches. They all were lovely. I than heard a large crash inside the place. I rushed to the door and opened it. Inside the shop I saw a nicely kept area were people could look at the products and purchase them  but the noise hadn't come from here. It came from a room in the back.
I moved careful to the back room. In there was two men. An older one looking about mid forties. He was tall and well built with a fluffy beard and hair but he seems to have a softness to him. He was frozen too but in the middle of the room was the other person who was more interesting.
He was built much like the other. He was a little thinner but still had muscle and broad shoulders. He had the same darker skin tone as the other guy but his hair wasn't fluffy. It was straighter and longer. He was breathing heavily in the middle of the room. He was moving...but why. There was mess of broken watches and necklace chains on the floor. The boy seemed to have made this mess an the way he was looking over it, it looked like he was looking for something. Something he obviously hasn't found.
"Where the fuck is it! You were trying to hide my true destiny! Why old man!" The boy seemed to yell at older man. He threw on of the broken watches but it wasn't long till it too froze in mid air. "If you had told me none of this would have happened...were you scared I was going to leave you after I found out. Well you were right," he seems to smirk at that line. He looks around the room more.
"Once I find the thing I'm leaving. And since I don't have a grasp on this power yet, guess you're staying like this," he finishes.
"After that it's time to find them...heh see you all soon," he said. His head turned up and looked at me, right into my eyes. I knew in that moment he was talking to me. Than I was pulled back like before.
