Space
I remember the darkness as I drifted off. The feeling of falling through nothingness. It was horrifying. I closed my eyes so tight. Whether it was because I was scared or because my bangs were out of my eyes I don't know. I thought this is it...I'm about to die.
Than I stopped and I didn't hit the ground. I was floating. As my eyes opened I saw a beautiful sight. Stars glittered around me. The colors of the sky were mixed with the dust and gases of space. Lovely purples, blacks, and blues mixed together. It was breathtaking.
I looked down to see a planet. The planet was small and a mess of blue and green with white spots doting it. I came to a conclusion that the blue was probably oceans and seas and the green was planets and greenery. Both of these things made me know that this wasn't my home. My home was all ice and plants were hard to grow and come by. My planet was pretty much made of ice and rock. But this place...I couldn't imagine what it must to like on the planet.
My thoughts started to drift off to ideas of what the planet was like till I realized I was in space...and I shouldn't be able to breath. I panicked a little after that and my quick breaths made me see I could definitely breath here. My panic started to go down with this and I took in some deep breaths. I tried to walk but I couldn't in this gravity. I decided try to swing my arms and legs to try and move. It wasn't easy. I kept flipping around but I was moving at least.
That's when I saw her. She sat on a closer planet that the one I saw. Or it wasn't quite a planet more of a moon I think. I didn't realize how close it was to me cause of my awe at everything else. This moon was nothing special anyway. It was dented rock and wasn't as impressive as everything else. But the curious thing wasn't the rocky moon. It was the girl on the moon. Yes there was a girl there. She had long deep black hair. It floated around her like long tendrils. Her hair was so black and glossy it looked like tar. Her body was hunched over her knees as she hugged them. She has a lengthy, thin frame but her face was rounder and soft. Her skin was so pale it looked like marble, flawless and white. Her face was lovely. She had soft features. Her nose, lips, and cheeks had that softness too it. It was her eyes that caught me though. Her eyes were a swirl of mixed blues, pinks, and purples. They seemed the shift and change. Her eyes seemed like they had seen the universe and like she knew so many things. Her eyes were wise but held a mystery kindness in them. As I looked closer I saw she was crying. Her tears floated up to the space around her. The tears floated and looked like stars around her.
So there she was and she was the most beautiful girl I has ever seen. She was an angel to me with a halo of tears and stars. She was what you'd imagine a one of those Greek gods. She was flaw less. But she was crying and I was so curious as to why. I tried to move closer to her. As I got closer she looked up around where I was. She wasn't looking at me because she couldn't see me but it was if she felt me there. Like she felt my presence. That had never happened in this state. I was shocked by this. Than the girl said in a smooth quiet voice, "please, come find me." It was a such a desperate heart breaking thing. Than I was in the darkness again.
I came back stiff as usual. My mom was shaking me to get me back. I patted my mom's hands.
"Sorry I panicked when I saw you go stiff. I parted your hair and saw your eyes rolling back. I know you hate going to that state so I-" she started to ramble. My mother had been beautiful but now she just looked tired...because of me. Her dark hair was messy as usual. She stayed home to home school me. She thought that was better than going to school and having to get through the ice and snow. Especially as my vision were getting more frequent.
"It's fine mom...it's fine. I'm good. This one wasn't something bad like than..." I said. She went silent after that. She knew what I was talking about.
"Anything about our future?"
"No just...I don't know,"
"Don't explain I know your visions can be confusing without the pieces especially if they are far enough in he future," my mom said.
"So ready to start your lessons again?" She asked.
"Yeah,"
