Brooklyn's POV

I woke up before Nick did. So, thinking it was a good idea for some pay back I stood up on my bed and then jumped to his and yelled, "RISE AND SHINE SLEEPING BEAUTY!"

Lucky for him I didn't land on top of him like I wanted to. But hey. I'm rooming with my brother for the next two weeks and I'm pretty sure by the end only one of us will still be alive.

"Brooklyn." he whacked me with a pillow.

"Is that a challenge?" I asked. I grabbed the other pillow and whacked him with it. The next thing I knew was that we had a full blown pillow fight. Since we're rooming together for the next two weeks I have a feeling only one of us will be alive by the end of it.

After our little pillow fight and getting into some clothes we both headed to get some breakfast at the buffet. We got our food and found some of the Toursies were already here. So we pulled up some chairs and sat down.

"Josh, I love bacon as much as the next person, but isn't that a little much?" I asked.

"NEVER!" Josh yelled before stuffing a least three pieces into his mouth. Ok then...moving on from the bacon monster.

"You get used to it," Stephanie sighed. I only nodded before taking a sip of my apple juice.

"This is the tour life sis, get used to it," Nick sad while punching my arm. I punched back and then we started play fighting.

"Aw, you guys are the second cutest twins," Ben said, which made me roll my eyes.

"Actually, you guys are the second and third cutest twins," David added.

"Aww, it's cute you guys think that," I said replied while looking from Ben to David. Things are about to go down. Let's go people! Bing it on like Donkey Kong!

"Girl has a point.," Nick agreed while slinging his arm around me.

"I think that's our cue to leave," Josh said with a lot of fear in his voice. Then it just hit me. There are three sets of twins on this tour and only one set has both.(*cough* cough* Nick and I)Anyways, the four of us started to laugh because you don't mess with twins. Ever. It's double the trouble.

"Twins, am I right?" Zachary said while shaking his head. Which made the four if us laugh more. After we all finished eating Nick, Ben, David and I took a picture together and posted it to Instagram. My caption said, "The Twinsies of the Newsies family. Obviously Nick and I are the cuter twins."

Nick's caption said, "You tell 'em sis."

Ben's caption said, "HA-HA, you wish you were the cuter twins."

And David's said "Jacob, get your butt here so we can show these suckers up."

Let's just say Instagram went crazy. One comment said, "Now all we need is Emma and Jacob in there and my life will be complete."

another one said, "Let's see, Nick, Brooklyn, David, Jacob, and Ben are or have been newsies. Now all Emma has to do is be a newsie and we're good to go."

This one made me feel really dumb because it said, "Ok people, it just hit me. Nick, David, Brooklyn and Jacob have all play(ed) the same role. Funny huh?" After that I put my phone down since we all had to head over to the theater for an early rehearsal.

"Ok, let's take it from Carrying the Banner," Jeff C said. Everyone got into place. I was about to get into mine when he said, "Brooklyn, might as well get you used to playing Katherine in case Stephine can't." I nodded before going over to where Josh and Stephine were.

"Don't worry Brook, it's simple," Stephanie reassured. I nodded and the number went on. Before I knew it I was walking out with Jos...err Darcy.

"We'll hello, hello, hello beautiful," Nico - Romeo- said in a very flirty voice. Remember Brook, this is just acting. It's not real.

"Step aside Romeo nothing concerns you here," Dan (Jack) said pushing Nico aside. "Mornin' Miss, can I interest you in the latest news?"

"The paper isn't out yet," I replied.

"I'll be delight to deliver it to you personally."

Josh stepped forward but I placed the back of my hand on his chest, took a step forward and said, "I've got a headline for you," I said. "Cheek boy gets nothing, for his troubles." I smirked and added a little head and shoulder bob before walking away, with Josh right behind me.

As I "walked off" I could feel all the guys (except Nick. C'mon, he's my lame twin brother) checking me out. I caught Sky smirking at me and add a tilt of a cap for good measure. Brooklyn, it's just acting. It's fake. I mean, what're the chancing of Sky actually liking me. I'll tell you. Zero to none.

"Great job," Josh said while lightly punching my shoulder. "Now, if you'll excuse me I have to get out there."

Stephanie pulled me to the side lines and hugged me. "You were amazing."

"Thanks, but it was re-"

"But nothing, you were amazing," she cut me off. "And you didn't hear this from me but...Sky was checking you out."

I rolled my eyes. Then it hit me. "What? No he wasn't."

"Yes he was," Stephanie said. "I've been doing this show for almost a year now, and I know for a fact that Sky has never done that to me. And don't make any excuse, because I'm always right."

"Whatever," I said shaking it off. But was Sky really...Brooklyn get a hold of yourself. You're not going to fall for Sky! Anyways, after that Stephanie and I switched playing Katherine because Jeff C wanted me to get a feel for it. In other words I was going to do Watch What Happens.

Now, not only do I have to sing super fast. But it's a solo song. Which meant all eyes are on me. Let's hope I don't screw this up. Luckily I knew all the words. But it was still nerve wracking.

I took a deep breath before saying, "You heard the man, "write it good". Write it good or it's back to wheezing your way through the flower show. No pressure...." I added a small awkward laugh. "Let's go."

I walked to the typewrite and started typing while saying, "Newsies Stop The World." I paused for a moment. "A...little hyperbole never hurt anyone...." I shrugged before continuing. "With all eyes fixed on the trolley strike another battle is brewing in the city." I bite my lip and "looked" over what I just wrote. "...And..if I could just write about it."

I shook my head and took out the paper and put in a new one. "C'mon Katherine. Those boys are counting on you." I stopped for a moment then said, "Oohh, you poor boys." I then started singing and the next thing I knew I was hitting the final note.

Everyone clapped and I covered my growing smile. I walked back and then was attacked by a bunch of boys in a group hug. Stephanie went on as Katherine for the rest of rehearsal. But I ended up doing the scene for Something to Believe in, and stopped right before the kissing part.

"Great job Brook," Dan said as he took the first step down the latter. "You actually had me thinking I was going to get a swollen eye."

"Thanks," I replied. When Dan finished climbing the latter I went next. I was doing just fine until I sipped and started to fall. I thought I was going to either fall and break something or land on top someone. Time slowed down as I fell closer to the ground.

But before I could someone caught me. Thankfully.

"Nice catch...Sky?" I asked in shock. Ok, is this fate, or have I completely lost my mind? Again, time seemed to slow down as I looked into his eyes. I'm not sure what was going on but in all honest, I liked whatever I was feeling.

"And here we have newly weds Mr. and Mrs. Flaherty on their honey moon," I heard Ben and Josh joke. Which made a few of the guys snicker and Nick got that look. I hate my life

"Um...Sky?"

"Yeah?" he asked as if he was in a daze.

"You can put me down now."

"Oh right," he said as he put me down.

"Good reflexes," I said as I patted his shoulder.

"..Thanks..." he replied in a awkward tone.

"Thanks for catching me," I said in just a much a awkward tone as he did. "I uh....should go...yeah....," I said before walking off.

"Ok, catch you later," Sky said. "I mean see you later."

"There's still half an hour left of rehearsal genius." I replied as sat down where the girlsies were. Well, that wasn't awkward at all.....

Sky's POV

"Stop denying you're not blushing cause you totally are!" Ben screamed so loud that his voice cracked a bit.

"It's called being tired after a two hour rehearsal," I retorted.

"Ok, then what do you call that little scene where you were holding Brooklyn as if you two just got married."

"So you're saying that you would've let Brook break her back?" I asked.

"No, I'm saying you were blushing like crazy when you caught her. And making goo, goo eyes. And held her for at least two minutes straight."

"Ben, you need to let this go," I said. "She's our friend's sister."

"Our friend's very cute sister," Ben replied as if it was obvious. "I'm telling you it's the freckles."  I thought for a moment and I guess Ben has a point there. Freckles are really cute. Especially on Brook. 

"EARTH TO SCHUYLER!" Ben screamed. I think I'm going to lose my hearing thanks to this boy.

"WHAT!" I screamed back. The people walking by thought we were crazy. If these people really knew us then they'd know this is calm.

"You spaced out and started blushing...again," Ben replied in a normal speaking tone.

"Was not," I retorted as we walked into the hotel and then the elevator. Before the doors closed someone ran in. 

"HA! beat you too it!" Brooklyn yelled as the doors closed.

"Hey!" Who I'm guessing was Nick yelled.

"Oh hey Ben, Sky..." she said as she turned to face us.

"Hey," we both replied. Before anything else was said the elevator came to a stop and Ben got off. The problem with that was this wasn't our floor.

"Um Ben, there's still six more floors to go," Brook said.

"All of a sudden I feel like walking six flights of stairs," Ben replied shrugging it off. "But by all means, you two can take the elevator. Talk, get to know each other more." I saw a all too familiar mischievous gleam in Ben's eyes. it then hit me what he was doing. Well, it's not going to work. "And what better way to do it then in a tight and crammed space," he finished as the doors closed.

"Is he always this...strange?" Brooklyn asked as she turned to face me.

"No, that's just who he is," I sighed, which made Brook laugh. It was kinda cute if I'm being honest.

"What have I gotten myself into?"

"A show full of boys who are supposed to be mature teenagers are actually just a bunch of crazy and very annoying boys who act like twelve year olds on sugar," I replied.

"Good to know that at last one of you whackos is aware of how insane this group is," Brook replied in that cute joking like tone. 

"Anyways, did you enjoy rehearsal?" I asked.

"Yeah. Except for the part where I almost broke my back," she replied. "Thanks for catching me again."

"Anytime," I said while looking into her eyes. I don't know why but I felt like I was getting lost in her eyes. Those one of a kind blueish grey eyes. That smile and her cute freckles. Why does this girl look so perfect, even though her hair is a mess, cheeks are a little red and she's most likely smells like sweat after a two hour rehearsal....Anyone care to tell me what's happening now? 

Just then the elevator came to a rocky stop when made Brook trip forward and slam right into my chest. I caught her and our eyes met again. For some reason, I don't know why but I felt like..

"What're you doing?"

"Nothing!" we both exclaimed as we stood up straight as if we were dears in the headlights. Jacob and Nico were standing right in front us. They looked at each other, then back at us.

"Anyways...." Nico started. "If you're not too busy doing...whatever it was you were doing then you wanna come to Penera? Some of the guys are in the lobby and the rest are meeting us there."

"I gotta take a shower. But I'll met you there," Brook and I said at the same time.

"Ok then...see you later..." Jacob trailed off as we got off the elevator and started walking to our rooms which were in different directions.

"Brooklyn," Jacob called.

"Sky!" Nico yelled.

"Yeah?" we both asked as we looked back at them.

"You're room is that way," they both replied while pointing in the other direction we were walking.

"I knew that," Brook and I replied as we walked the right way. We ended up bumping into each other. Our cheeks flushed red and then I tried walking around her. But Brook ended up going the same way. Then I tried going the other way. Brook had them same idea and well...it was just awkward.

"Imma go this way," Brooklyn said pointing to the right.

"Yeah, you do that, and I'll go this way," I said pointing to the left.

"Ok then," Brook said.

"Yeah..."

"I'll just go now," we both replied. Well...long story short I ended up going to the right and Brook ended up going left. But at least we made it past each other. This went down right in front of Jacob and Nico, who probably thought the worst.

Brooklyn's POV

"So," Nick said in a none subtle way what so ever as we walked to Penera. "About what happened rehearsal today."

"You mean when you fell on your butt or when you fell on your butt," I replied.

"When you fell off the latter and Sky caught you," he said.

"Nick," I groaned. Sadly I knew what was going to happen. And no, it isn't twin sense. It's my brother is completely out of his mind and way too protective when if comes to boys hunch. Oh who am I kidding it isn't a hunch cause I know that we're going to have "do you like him" talk. "You and I both know how this is going to end. It's with me saying that I don't like Sky or any of the guys, you give me the "there will be no dating, flirting and or being alone with any of the guys" talk. I say I don't like Sky or anyone of the boys, you don't believe me and continue to say dumb stuff and I yell at you for saying dumb stuff, and we end it there. Ok? Ok, good."

"What makes you say I'm going to give you that talk?" he asked innocently.

"Because, you're my twin. Sadly," I replied.

"You're no ray of sunshine either," he retorted. This lead to us having one of those very dumb twin fights the whole walk to Penera, and after we ordered and got the food.

"Now, I'm just saying that a minute and a half can really make a difference," I said as we sat down.

"How so little sister?" Nick asked.

"Well, for starters, you're a complete idiot. Let's walk down memory lane shall we."

"Brooklyn, can you save this for another time when the guys and girls aren't here?" Nick asked.

"Actually I want to know just what little Nicky has done in the past," Jordan said with a smirk. The guys, and girls agreed. Even Wren wanted to know, so I gladly started listing all of my favorite Nick moments. Nick got me back of course and that ended up in both of us trying to embarrass the other in front of our friends.

"How about you just agree you're both idiots and eat before your food gets cold," Melissa said breaking up our fight. 

"This isn't over," Nick and I said at the same time while glaring at each other.

"Twins," Chaz sighed. "Am I right?"

"Shut up!" we both yelled before laughing.

"What are we going to do with those two,"  Josh laughed.

"Look who's talking," everyone at the table said. Josh huffed and slumped into his seat.

"I like you Joshy," Wren said.
