"So here you just add the chopped bell peppers." You said. You were teaching Matsuyo-san to make paella, you had enough money to get all the ingredients. It's interesting that you're teaching someone instead of someone teaching you, but you're just that good of a cook.

"Like this?" Matsuyo-san asked.
"Yes, just like that." You said and smiled. This feeling was nice, to you this woman felt like your actual mom.

"And now we just need to mix it in with the rice here." You said. You mixed the mélange of ingredients in the pot. Finally after an hour and a half everything came together.

"There, it's finished!" You exclaimed.

"Amazing (Y/N)-chan, you have quite the talent." Matsuyo-san praised. You rubbed the back of your head sheepishly.

"Well, you helped me." You said.

"Shall we taste?" You asked and she nodded enthusiastically. You two ate the creation admiring the finished product. It was also borderline lunchtime too.

"Oh, maybe you should take this for Totty at his job." Matsuyo-san said.

"Totty?" You asked.

"Todomatsu, he works as a barista at a coffee shop. He told me that's the nickname his co-workers gave him." She explained.

"Todomatsu-san got a job? Huh, he didn't tell me." You said.

"He didn't tell his brothers either." She said.

'I can probably guess why.' You thought and chewed on your spoon.
"All right. Well it is lunchtime so I might as well go now." You said and got up. You went into the kitchen and packed the food into a bento box. You asked Matsuyo-san for directions because you didn't want to have another "lost" situation.You got your shoes and headed off to the shop.

You stopped in front of a building called Sutabaa Coffee, and entered through the door with a little bell jingling after 15 minutes of walking. You looked around the inside and saw a little amount of people, and Todomatsu working the register.

You smirked a tiny bit and walked up to him like a regular customer.

"Hello, welcome to-" Todomatsu cut himself off and gasped when he saw you standing there.

"Hi Totty, nice place to get a job, and not tell me about it." You said with a tiny glint in your eyes.

"(Y-Y/N)-chan..." Todomatsu said nervously and started sweating.

"Come on Totty why didn't you tell me?" You whined at him with a pout.

"B-Because I was afraid if my brothers found out." He said.

"Your brothers?" You questioned.

"Yes, somehow those guys manage to ruin everything. If they found out I had a job they would surely cause trouble and I'd be in deep shit." Todomatsu ranted.

"That still doesn't answer my question." You said.

"Well I wanted to tell you, but they kept interrupting or they were always within hearing range." He said.

"I'm worried that they might do something crazy to sabotage my job." He said and stared at the register in anxiety.

"Isn't that a little...extreme?" You asked , 'They're his brothers surely they wouldn't do that...right?' You thought.

"Honey you've got a big storm coming." The author said.

"Get back to the story!" You exclaimed.

"No, I mean you've seen how they can be." He argued. You wouldn't deny that it was true, they can get a little...rowdy, yeah let's use that word.

"Ok, but congrats on the job." You said and smiled at him.

"T-Thanks." He replied with pink cheeks and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.

"Anyway, your mom wanted me to bring you this." You said and held up the bag with the bento box inside.

"What's that?" He asked.

"I taught your mom how to make paella and we had leftover so we'd thought I'd bring you some for your break." You explained.

"Whoa! For me?" He asked and started to gleam.

"Yup." You responded.

"Gee Thanks (Y/N)-chan, I can't wait to try this during break. Which, as a matter of fact should start in 15 minutes." He said and looked at the clock hanging on the wall.

"Hm, maybe I'll wait and order a coffee? Both milk and sugar please." You asked and smiled at him. He smiled back and got your order for you. You grabbed the cup and sat down observing. The people made quiet conversation, it smelled like coffee, but most of your attention diverted to Todomatsu. He actually looked like he was working hard at his job, it impressed you because of how lazy he and his brothers actually were back at home. Within 10 minutes you finished your coffee and we're now just surfing through the apps on your phone.

"(Y/N)-chan," you heard and saw Todomatsu standing in front of you still in his uniform except he took off the apron. "I'm on break now." He said and smiled.

"Mind if I sit?" He asked.

"Go ahead." You said and he sat on the chair across of the table.

"So, you and okaa-san made this huh?" He asked and put the bento in front of him.

"Yup, we were just sitting around and I suggested we make paella. She actually did really good and it was her first foreign dish." You said.
He started eating it and his eyes sparkled and his mood changed to a dreamy state.

"This is so good, although I shouldn't be surprised since you helped with it. I'm sure you've heard this a lot but you're such a good cook." He said and smiled at you.

'His smile's...kind of cute.' You said and blushed slightly at the thought.

"T-Thank you Todomatsu-san." You stuttered. Still a little awkward with taking compliments I see.

He sighed a happy sigh, to you he looked a little too happy even if he was eating the food.

"What's with the over happy expression?" You asked and raised a brow.

"Oh, well my two co-workers asked if I wanted to attend a mixer on Sunday, and I'm going to participate." He said with a bright smile.

"Plus I'll no longer be in NEET territory." He whispered to himself.

"What?" You asked.

"Nothing!" He exclaimed and stuffed some more food in his mouth.

"A mixer huh..." You said and placed your palm under your chin. Then you grinned, "Going to be quite the ladies man aren't you Totty?" You asked teasing him which resulted in him blushing slightly again.

You two continued to talk and start little conversations throughout Todomatsu's break.

"Totty you have 5 minutes." A girl's voice said. You turned your head to the voice and saw two girls. One with auburn hair in a ponytail and another with brown and curly hair.

"Yeah I'll get ready soon." Todomatsu replied.

"Oh? Who's this?" The curly haired girl asked.

"She's (L/N) (Y/N)-chan, I think I told you about her right?" Todomatsu answered.

"Oh yeah, you mentioned her. Hey are you and Totty on a date?" The ponytailed girl asked.
"Are you boyfriend and girlfriend?" The other girl asked like a fangirl.

You blushed a cherry red and sputtered, "N-no! W-we're only friends!" You answered.

'Why does everyone confuse me for their girlfriend?!' You thought.

"Well you do live with them and hang out with them a lot it's a no brainer." The author replied.

"You made the story that way!" You countered.

"Now now Let's get back to the story." The author said and waved you off.

Todomatsu blushed in response to the girls questions as well.
"Y-Yeah, we're only friends." He said.

'Although I wish she really will my girlfriend.' He thought at the same time.

"Aw that's too bad, you two look cute together." The girls said and that only worsened Todomatsu's and your flustered states.

"But then again it would've been awkward inviting you to the mixer then." The girl with the ponytail said.

"O-Ok, how about I go change now. Thank you for bringing lunch for me (Y/N)-chan." He said and headed off. You say there with the blush on your face and waited a minute to calm down.

"Aww you brought lunch for him! Are you sure that you're not his girlfriend (Y/N)-chan?" The ponytailed girl asked.

"I-Umm no I-I'm not." You stuttered.
"Um, can I order a coffee cake?" You asked to try and distract yourself.

"Oh sure, we'll be right back with that!" The curly haired girl said and they both left you with a fast beating heart.

'Ok calm yourself (Y/N).' You thought and went back to sitting in your thoughts. The girl brought your cake to you and you sat down, looking out the window like a shojo heroine, and stole glances at Todomatsu who was still hard at work.

You spent another 15 minutes until you heard the door open and familiar rowdy voices. You saw the rest of the brothers entering the coffee shop and simultaneously saw Todomatsu's face turn to a look of horror.

"Hey dis is one of dem high class establishments?" Osomatsu exclaimed and looked around.

'Well this won't end well.' You thought.
The brothers went up to the register and saw Todomatsu there working.

"Oh hey look it's Todomatsu." Osomatsu said and pointed to him.

"Hey what the hell, why haven't you ever told us you got a job?" Osomatsu asked sounding a little pissed.

"Can I talk to you guys outside?" Todomatsu asked through grit teeth and then pushed them outside through the entrance.

"Oh? (Y/N)-chan!" Osomatsu called to you and waved. He drew attention making you sink in your seat a bit. You shook off the awkward feeling and followed the boys outside.

"Go home I beg of you!" Todomatsu pleaded while banging his head on the concrete.

"Todomatsu-san stop you'll hurt yourself!" You exclaimed. He stopped and had his head bleeding with pieces of concrete stuck in it; it made you jump in surprise.

"So we aren't allowed in? Why not?" Osomatsu asked.

"If you really want to know then I'll tell you. It's a fact that I'm embarrassed by you guys." Todomatsu stated in which his brothers have a shocked response.

"I mean come on, this is Sutabaa a high class environment and I was even lucky to land a job of this stature. And comparing it with you guys is like comparing angels with crap. I mean just imagine what they would say if they found out I have crappy brothers like you." Todomatsu said. With each sentence you saw arrows striking the brothers in vital areas.

'Totty...that's savage.' You thought.

"I'm sorry I didn't want to say that." He added.

"Then don't say it at all!" Choromatsu exclaimed.

"Um..." You said not sure what you were going to say in this situation.
"Todomatsu-san, don't you think that's a little harsh?" You whispered to him.

"You would understand if you had siblings (Y/N)-chan, it's nothing but trouble with these guys." He whispered back.

"Che, let's just go home it's obvious we're not wanted here." Ichimatsu said and kicked a rock.

"Ehhhh, but we just got here." Jyushimatsu said.

"Hey what's wrong out here?" Todomatsu's co-workers came outside and Todomatsu had that look of horror again.

"Hm.." The girls looked between Todomatsu and the other brothers, "Hey Totty, how come those guys look like you?" The girl with the ponytail asked. The whole group went back inside where the conversation continued. I would include the whole conversation but I'm sure the audience has seen the episode so I'll just cut to where Todomatsu deals with his brothers.

"Oi you're breaking the fourth wall again." Choromatsu said.

"Shut up Fappymatsu, breaking the fourth wall is fun." The author argued.

"She's not wrong." Osomatsu said.

"Back to the story!" You exclaimed.

Todomatsu had a shadow cast over his eyes as he slammed a menu on the counter.
"Here, order, drink, then get the hell out." He growled.

"Um...do you have beef bowls?" Jyushimatsu asked with his wide smile.

"No!" Todomatsu exclaimed.

"I want takoyaki!" Osomatsu exclaimed.

"Frankfurter." Choromatsu said.

"Soft serve ice cream." Ichimatsu said.

You looked at all of them weirdly, "Uh guys this is a coffee shop they don't have that stuff." You said.

"Oh really? Karamatsu what are you ordering?" Osomatsu asked.

Karamatsu leaned on the counter dressed in his cool guy attire.
'When did he get that on?!' You thought.

"Heh, a tall latte with espres-" He got cut off when Todomatsu threw the menu at his head, drawing blood.

"Karamatsu-san?!" You exclaimed and checked his vitals.

"He was the only one who ordered properly too!" Choromatsu exclaimed.
Todomatsu, having enough, set up a table near the bathrooms and left his brothers there.

"Ah, look at that guy, when did he start working so hard!" Osomatsu exclaimed.

"Maybe you should follow in his footsteps instead of being such lazy asses." You said bluntly and even more arrows rained down.

"That's mean (Y/N)-chan!" Osomatsu said and clung to you.

"I mean you're an exception but we NEETS stick together, you understand right?" He said and rubbed his head on your arm.

"Not really no." You said a little uncomfortable.

"Oi idiot get off her!" Choromatsu said angrily and pulled Osomatsu off of your arm.

"I'll talk to Todomatsu I guess, maybe settle this in a civil manner." You said. You walked up to him but his co-workers beat you to it.

"Hey Todomatsu, do you think you can ask some of your friends to attend the mixer with you?" One of them asked.

'MIXER?!' The brothers thought shocked.

You looked between them nervously and saw the brothers getting more fidgety and agitated.
'It was nice knowing you Todomatsu.' You thought.

Then with a loud slam the brothers started causing chaos. They started spilling coffee catching the attention of the other guests. Then a couple of screams rang and you saw Ichimatsu trying to take a dump on one of the tables.

'GROSS ICHIMATSU!' You thought.

You wanted to stop this but at the same time a part of you wanted popcorn and watch how Todomatsu would handle this. The brothers caused even more chaos and Todomatsu looked to you with pleading eyes. You thought for a moment before coming up with something, it was a little "out there" but it would definitely catch the attention of them. You held your head with the palm of your hand and stumbled, you made your eyes dart everywhere and started heavily breathing.

"(Y/N)-chan?" Todomatsu looked at you concerned.
The finishing touch, you eyes closed and you fell to your knees and to the floor making it look like you passed out.

"(Y/N)-CHAN!" Todomatsu yelled and caught the attention of the rampaging brothers.

"(Y/N)-chan are you ok?!" Todomatsu yelled and shook you. You tried to make it convincing and didn't respond.

"What's wrong with (Y/N)-chan?!" Osomatsu exclaimed. All the brothers gathered around with concerned looks on their faces.

"S-She just passed out." Todomatsu stuttered.

"Heeeeyyy (Y/N)-chan wake up!" Jyushimatsu exclaimed. He lifted you and started shaking you violently, at the speed he was going you really were going to pass out.

"Jyushimatsu that's not going to help stop that!" Choromatsu chided and he stopped immediately. After that you stirred and acted like you were waking up.

"Ah her eyes are opening!" Jyushimatsu exclaimed.

"Lay her down Jyushimatsu!" Karamatsu said and he did so.

You faked a groan and started sitting up.

"(Y/N)-chan are you ok?" Choromatsu asked.

"Y-Yeah." You responded.

"Are you sure? Here..." Todomatsu ran off and came back with a glass quickly, "Have some water." He said. You took it and gulped it down.

"Well at least you're awake." Ichimatsu said.

"How'd you pass out?" Karamatsu asked.

"I-I don't know I just felt dizzy." You said breathed out a sigh.
"Maybe I should head back." You said.

"I'll carry you!" The brothers exclaimed at the same time. With that they then glared at each other.

You sweatdropped, "Uh it's fine I can trudge myself home." You said.

"No way! In times like this a guy has do all he can so his girl is happy and healthy!" Osomatsu exclaimed.

'They look so concerned, it makes me feel bad that I faked it.' You thought.

"Climb on (Y/N)-chan." Osomatsu said and kneeled with his back facing you.

"O-Osomatsu-san come on we're in public and it's embarrassing." You said and blushed.

"But you might pass out again." Choromatsu said. You sighed and climbed onto Osomatsu still heavily blushing.

"You sure you're alright (Y/N)-chan?" Todomatsu asked.

You rolled your eyes, "Yes Totty I'm fine." You said and smiled at him.

"Oi don't think you'll get off the hook easily. We're gonna have a nice talk after we get (Y/N)-chan home." Ichimatsu said with a scary aura around him. The other brothers joined which made Todomatsu jump.

The boys brought you home and went out to go drinking leaving you alone. A few hours later you were surfing the Internet and heard the drunk slurs and loud voices of the brothers.

"Welcome home!" You said walking into the room. Your smile faded and your face turned to shock when you saw Todomatsu.

"What the hell?!" You exclaimed.

"Yo (Y/N)-chan, don't mind Totty, it's just his punishment." Osomatsu said.

'Punishment?!' You thought. You walked up to Todomatsu while his brothers were distracting themselves and helped him out of the ridiculous outfit.

"Want some tea?" You asked.

"That would be great, after the day I had." He said.

"It was hectic that's for sure. Hmm... I'll tell a little secret. I didn't really faint." You said.

"Eh?! But you looked like you really-"

"I just acted to help you, it's a little sneaky yes but it got your brothers out of there." You said and cut him off.

"J-Jeez um thanks (Y/N)-chan." Todomatsu said.

"Anything to help a friend." You said and winked at him before heading to the kitchen. It left him smiling despite the humiliation he suffered. Now if only he could make you more then a friend.
