You woke up bright and early to get ready for your second day. This time you did not get lost, so you're accomplishing things already.

"Oh? Hey (Y/N)-san! You're in early." Yuna remarked while wiping down tables.

"Yes, I just decided to come in and help out with stuff." You said and rubbed the nape of your neck.

"Well just cleaning stuff until we open, you're welcome to help me." She said and smiled at you.

You returned the smile, "Of course!" You said.

"I still need to sweep the floors so you can do that." Yuna said.

"Yes ma'am!" You saluted and went into the closet to get a broom.

You were working hard serving the customers when you first opened. For some reason today people have been flooding the café and you had been working non-stop. But it's not like that would bring you down, nope you worked harder than ever making orders, serving orders, and helping Yuna once in a while.

"What's with all the people today?" You mumbled to yourself. You were currently changing out of your uniform because it was finally your break time. The manager had been generous to you and have you an even longer break time because of all the hard work you did.

"Bye Yuna-chan! I'm stepping out for a bit." You said.

"Later (Y/N)-san be back for the 3:00 pm shift." She said and headed to the changing rooms.

You nodded and grinned at her, "Ok!" You exclaimed and went out the door for some fresh air. You walked down the street aimlessly thinking of random things.

'I wonder what the guys are up to?' You thought. Just then you spotted something that looked very familiar, and purple.

"Is that..?" You ran up a bit and there was Ichimatsu standing with his hands stuffed in his hoodie pockets. What a coincidence right?

"It is! Ichimatsu-san!" You called and ran up to him. He turned at the familiar voice but kept his stoic exterior .

"Oh it's you, I thought you had work." He said in a cold voice.

"Oh I'm on a break. What are you doing out here?" You asked ignoring his coldness.

"Nothing." He said simply although to you it looked like he was looking for something.

"So, um how about I hang out with you?" You asked.

"Why would you want to hang around trash?" He argued.

You looked at him confused, "I don't think you're trash. I want to hang out with you willingly. I mean we practically live together so we're friends aren't we?" You asked and smiled at him. He stared at your smile and your warm expression countered his cold one. He was so close to blushing but fought off the urge and just gave a cold stare.

"Whatever." He said and turning away.

'He's so...distant.' You thought.

He started walking slowly with you trotting behind him like a pet. You observed him while walking and noticed his eyes darting everywhere.

"Ichimatsu-san...are you looking for something?" You asked.

He stayed quiet and then mumbled a "no."
"You're lying I can tell by your eyes. They're looking in different directions as if searching for something." You countered and in result he stiffened.

"I have an eye disease." He said.

"You're lying again. Come on tell me." You said.

"Tch...I'm looking...for my cat." He said.

"You're cat?" You asked. You remembered he had a number of cats in his household.

"Yes...he ran off somewhere." He said.

"Oh! Well...I can help you." You offered. He looked at you quizzically through half-lidded eyes.

"I want to." You said. He blinked but nodded and acknowledged your aid. You two walked through the streets and park but saw no sign of his cat.

'Wait...I don't know what his cat looks like. I probably should've asked him that, nice (Y/N).' You thought.

"Um Ichimatsu-san..what does your cat look like?" You asked.

"He has orange fur and can talk." He said.

"Oh ok...Wait..He can talk?!" You exclaimed and looked at him like he was crazy.

"Yes..I wanted to talk to cats one thing led to another and somehow this cat got the ability to talk." He explained. His explanation was short and just left you confused. You just left it there because asking more questions will just leave you more confused.

"A talking cat sounds kind of cool." You commented.

"That's what my brothers said when they saw him." He said.

"I can only imagine the shenanigans." You said giggled.

"He can do more than talk though." He said.

"Hm, what do you mean?" You asked.

"Nothing." He said and averted your gaze.

You two continued to walk until you went into an alley. No matter light or shine you always hated alley ways, you had no idea why. Probably because in all that you've read or heard it's the number one place to get mugged.

"This place is kinda creepy." You commented.

"The cats always come here." Ichimatsu said and started checking the area. You followed his lead and checked behind stuff. You saw something wiggling behind a trash can.

"What the..?" You mumbled and walked behind it. You spotted an animal, not just any animal but a cat.

Meow~

It meowed loudly at you. You looked and saw that it had orange fur.

"Is this the cat he was talking about?" You asked. The cat meowed again and jumped at you.

"Ah!" You squeaked and the cat landed in your arms perfectly. Your little squeak caught Ichimatsu's attention.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Um...is this the cat?" You asked and showed him the ball of fluff purring in your arms. He looked at it with a blank face.

"Yeah this is it." He said.

"I'm relieved that you found him." A male voice said. You jumped and your head turned in different directions.

"What was-"

"The cat." Ichimatsu said.

"The cat?" You repeated. You looked down at the cat.

"There's no way he could've said that." The cat said. You shrieked in surprised and the cat jumped from your arms. You were staring at it weirdly.

"What the...how did...why...HUH?!" You said.

"I told you before that it could talk." Ichimatsu said coldly.

"Yeah, but..." You trailed off.

"It's still freaky, meow~" Thr cat finished off your thoughts except for the meow part at the end.

"How-"

"This cat can understand your thoughts and projects them out loud like a speaker. Jyushimatsu nicknamed it Esper nyan." Ichimatsu explained.

You ran both your hands through your hair trying to comprehend the scene. Although it wasn't working, this was by far the weirdest thing you've seen. Just wait until future chapters though.

"Are you kidding?!" You exclaimed.

"Nope I've got lots more in store for you. Now go back to your story." The author explained.

"Uhh.." You trailed off again.

"Now that we've found him you can head back to your work." Ichimatsu said and picked up ESP nyan.

"But I still have like an hour." You said.
"Maybe we can eat something together?" You suggested.

"You're still willing to hang out with someone like me, with a loner, a piece of trash?" He asked coldly, it was as if he was trying to push you away.

You put your hands on your hips, "Again with this? I told you before that I want to hang out with you. I don't think you're trash either." You said and gave him an annoyed yet warm look.

"I want to hang out with (Y/N)-chan. But I'm afraid that my attitude and lack of social skills will push her away." Esper nyan said.

'Wait ESP nyan wants to..wait Ichimatsu said that ESP nyan speaks out someone's thoughts. That means that...' You thought.

"Tch, shut up." Ichimatsu growled and glared at the cat.

"I can't talk to anyone so I push them away. But I don't want to be alone, I don't want (Y/N)-chan to think of me as a freak." ESP nyan said.

Your eyes widened at that statement.
"Ichimatsu-san?" You called at him and he just averted your gaze.

"Damn it shut up! You're doing it again!" Ichimatsu yelled and dropped the cat giving it a glare.

"Ichimatsu-san, this is how you feel?" You asked. He just turned away from you unable to give an answer.

"Ichimatsu-san..." You placed your hand on his shoulder which made him stiffen. You turned him around and made him look you in your eyes.

"Sometimes people don't develop social skills, but it's ok. You just need guidance. And I don't think you're a freak. Ok when I first met you guys I thought you were weirdos, but that won't stop me from making friends with you guys. I won't leave you or your brothers alone." You said and smiled at him. A glass shattered somewhere and this time you really made him blush. Not only that but he actually felt...warm. Although it only lasted for a second. He turned his face and his blush disappeared within three seconds.

"Could you...leave me alone for a bit?" He asked.

"But-"

"Just leave." He said. He wanted to be alone after that balloon of emotion just popped in him. You stood still for a second but just left the matter alone.

"Ok. I'll see you after I get home from work." You said. You gave him another smile and started walking out of the alley.

You could've sworn you heard him mumble a "Thanks" but maybe it was your imagination.

You walked him feeling satisfied after a hard day. Plus the money you earn is actually pretty good.

'I should start saving.' You thought. You walked through the door and stretched. You then went into the boys room and saw them doing their own little thing.

"I'm home you guys!" You announced.

"Welcome back (Y/N)-chan!" Jyushimatsu exclaimed with his wife smile.

You saw Ichimatsu in the corner petting his cat while lost in thought. You looked at him concerned for a second.

"You could've contacted me and I could've walked home with you." Todomatsu said catching your attention.

"Nah, it's not that dark out anyway." You said.

"But pretty girls such as yourself shouldn't be walking home alone~" Karamatsu said.

"I've bought something for you guys." You said ignoring the flirting and held out a bag.

"It's cake I made, I figured I'd bring it home since I had extra." You said. All their faces instantly brightened.

"Yay cake!" Jyushimatsu cheered. All the brothers except Ichimatsu eagerly grabbed a plate and cake. You made two plates and walked over to Ichimatsu.

"Ichimatsu-san, you want some?" You asked. You handed him the plate and he shooed ESP nyan away. He hesitated in grabbing the plate.

"You don't have to." You said.

"No...I want it." He said simply. He took it and slowly but surely popped a piece into his mouth. His eyes widened and he almost gave into a contented expression like his brothers in the corner.

"Is it good? It's the first time I've made this type." You said.

"Anything you make is good. Besides just look at those idiots." Ichimatsu said and gestured to his brothers who were in their little dream worlds.

"Oh..well thank you." You grinned at him.

"(Y/N)-chan...um what you said..I-uh, tch I wanted to..." He kept cutting himself off trying to find the right words.

"It's fine Ichimatsu-san don't force yourself. I know what you want to say." You said.

"Still... let me say it without ESP nyan...thank you (Y/N)-chan." Ichimatsu said and gave a tiny smile. It wasn't even forced it was a genuine smile that made you blush a bit.

"Y-You're welcome." You stuttered.

"(Y/N)-chan, want to play games with us?" Osomatsu asked and held up a game controller.

"Sounds fun." You said.
"Come on Ichimatsu-san." You said and pulled him to his brothers. He hesitated but allowed you to pull him.

"Eh? (Y/N)-chan got Ichimatsu-nii san to play with us?" Todomatsu asked in disbelief.

"Heh, surely-"

"Shut it Shittymatsu." Ichimatsu said cutting Karamatsu off.

"Let's start already!" Osomatsu exclaimed.
You spent the rest of the night playing games with the brothers and enjoying every minute.

A/N: Update yay! It's Ichimatsu's turn, his is a little more...sadder than the others. I can relate to him though with the lack of social skills thing. I hope this chapter didn't suck. Next is the ball of sunshine Jyushimatsu.
