being in a psychology major, devenity has gotten good at observing others and noticing even the littlest of details. she has a very good eye for catching things not even the other person noticed. it sometime freaks others out that she could notice something so little or know so much about them from only being around them a little bit. she can't really help it because it's become a bit of a habit of hers now. she's always paying lots of attention towards others or her surroundings. you never know what might happen, afterall. beside that, she is always telling people about themselves or giving them advice. it's only natural for her to to do. it can get a bit annoying though because who wants all of their actions nit picked and broken down? she's a total know it all and is constantly rubbing it in other's faces. she has no hesitance in correcting you or calling you out on your shit. she won't hold back or spare your feelings.

being a psychology major, it's only to be expected that something had happened to her to make her want to pursue this path in the first place. her father was an on and off again addict, never staying clean consistently. more time than not, she could remember him using. her mother on the other hand tried her very best to raise devenity and keep her away from all the things that her father used. she could only do so much, having depression herself. it made it hard to want to do anything besides laying in bed and moping around. from a young age, devenity learned how to take care of her mother and help her whenever she would get in a bad place. she had always had taken an interest in learning more to help her understand. as she got older, the urge only grew more until she finally decided to go with that as her major.
